Lovely hotel in perfect location. Stayed three nights and enjoyed every minute. Hotel is just across from the sea and is well situated for public transport to get around the island. Didn't eat here but the rooftop pool and bar area was fab with large seating area. Our room was spacious and cleaned daily. If we ever venture back to Malta we will definitely stay here again.

You'd get what you've paid for. £19 for a single ensuite room worked well for me. Flight was delayed anyway and I've arrived after 1am (stayed just fir a night). It was very basic, but you will get a good sleep in clean space, with towels and some toiletries included. Sure they also offer better rooms (balcony, etc). There's a wee bar downstairs next to reception. Location very central (ferries to Valleta just across the road). Restaurants and bars nearby, also a wee 24/7 shop just a few yards away.

This hotel is ideally situated in Sliema. Not on the main boulevard, which means not as much traffic/noise, but a mere 2 minute walk to get to the hussle and bussle of the boulevard. Our room was on the 6th floor at the back of the hotel, which meant it was super quiet (only a church bell could be heard). Large room with extra pullout chair. Safe and little fridge available which were a welcome bonus. Bathroom large as well. Unfortunately, it did get quite hot in the bathroom because there was no window which we could open. The aircon in the room did help a little, but only when the door of the bathroom was left open. One of the twin beds had some issues with springs sticking out. This made for uncomfortable sleeping. The other bed creaked, making a lot of noise. This was mentioned to the front desk and dealt with promptly. Room otherwise fine and clean. Breakfast was fine. Lots of sweets, but also bread, croissants, fruit (salad), scrambled egg, sausage, bacon, cereals, yoghurt and more. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall we really liked this hotel for many reasons. We would definitely choose Mr Todd again if we went to Malta.

We stayed at Europa hotel for 3 nights. It's located across the road from the Mediterranean sea(Yes just across the road!!), in Sliema, a lively town(especially at night). Our room was like brand new with a king size bed and a spotless bathroom with hot water 24 hours a day. The room had a flat screen TV, AC/heater and was spacious. Room was cleaned everyday with towels & toiletries changed as well. From the airport, just outside arrivals, a bus takes you to sliema and drops you at Ghadir stop just 1 min walk from the hotel. A short walk from the hotel is Sliema waterfront with shops and restaurants and a ferry service. You can get a 10 mins inexpensive ferry to the capital Valletta from the harbour in Sliema. Also, buses from the bus stop across the road from Europa hotel go to Rabat and Mdina so it's very good location wise. Staff was very polite and helpful and the hotel has a dining area by the main reception where you can have/order food or just wait and relax.There is a lift in the hotel. A++ to Europa hotel from our side.

Fantastic 5* hotel. From the reception staff to the concierge, the kitchen staff and housekeeping, everyone is so friendly and welcoming.
The hotel is beautiful and clean and just a 5 minute walk to the main road where all the shops are.
The breakfast was fulfilling and we were spoilt for choice. Loved my stay here!

Sliema Hotel is in a very good location, staff is super friendly and helpful. And that's all ;) room was dirty, there was a mold on the shower curtain and a huge hole above the bathtub. We could hear all noises (even working elevator!). But the biggest surprise was with the pool. Because there is no pool in the hotel, although you can see it on the photos. To access the pool from the photos you have to cross the road and walk few hundred meters.

A superb view of the sea from the 6th floor, the same floor where Breakfast is served. My and my girlfriend's breakfast experience was unforgettable with the help of Brian, the hotel chef. Brian is a very hardworking man with a warm soul and a contagious laugh (and he makes a very good omelette). I had an incredible stay at this hotel in Malta! The location is absolutely fantastic, putting us right at the heart of everything, with easy access to local attractions. The staff deserves every bit of praise, being both helpful and genuinely friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. Our apartment was a delight as well—spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean. Additionally, the breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start the day right. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Malta! - the ferry to Valetta is only minutes away

I only stayed at Amery House for 2 nights, and I honestly wish I could have stayed longer. I gave them a high mark, as I usually do when I stay somewhere, but on this occasion, I really mean it. Foremost amongst my memories was Reception, for some reason: Salvatori checked me in without fuss, after arriving at midnight, and three very pretty girlies from Greece, Kenya, etc, handled things during the day. All four of them exuded an air of unflappable competence, and made a big impression. Breakfast, too, was a memorable experience, and highly recommended. My room was just fine. No problems. I have been to Sliema many times, but even though I hadn't been to Amery House before, I'll certainly be back. Paul

Ligamen bertentangan dengan gereja. Kemudahannya sangat bagus. Sarapan pagi juga makan malam, tetapi makan malam dan rasa sedap di ruang istirahat tingkat 9. Pemandangannya cantik. Sayang sekali semua gambar belum dimuat naik. Ada besar pasar raya betul-betul di selekoh. Perhentian bas juga 5-10 minit berjalan kaki. Orang-orang di meja itu baik hati. Tidak ada masalah untuk tinggal dalam bahasa Inggeris Jegicho. Lounge di tingkat 9 sangat disyorkan (salad daging lembu Thailand sekitar 9 euro) Sandal pantai dan tuala boleh dibeli pada harga yang berpatutan di kedai berhampiran pantai, jadi ia adalah tempat di mana anda boleh berenang di dalam air secara santai walaupun anda datang dengan tangan kosong.
Hotel yang saya tempah pada asalnya ditutup sementara. Kononnya Hotel Palace ini dan hotel yang saya tempah (Victoria) pada asalnya dibuka untuk perniagaan yang mewah. PPengguna TetamuA very pleasant experience. The room was spacius, perfectly daily cleaned and the restaurant offered enough variety. Room's view was fabulous: You could see Valetta just over the bay! Valetta ferries were 5 minutes walking distance and there are plenty of restaurants arround. Even the Mall is just arround the corner, so you can enjoy a shopping experience right away! The public transport is very good and you can go easily go to Valleta or St.Julian. The bus tsations is minutes walk from the hotel. The restaurant is nice and cozy and the dishes are very tasty! Marleny is the nicest waitress! She was arround us all the time and brougt in no time our orders! We would recommend both the hotel and Hammett's Monastik Restaurant, hopping to be lucky enough to have Marleny arround !

A quiet boutique hotel in the centre of Sliema . Reception available between 8 am and 4 pm but no issues getting in out of hours through the access pad. room was clean and comfortable,modern and up to date.The pillow menu was a bonus for someone who needs a soft pillow to sleep ! Its built in the middle of Sliema -so a walk down in whatever direction you want to go in on a gentle but prolonged slope. It is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. A continental breakfast can be ordered but loads of cafes within 10 minutes walk

Dear team of the Maltese Sun, Your hospitality and service is absolutely fantastic. Instandly you feel at ease in this beautiful charactaristic Maltese house. Many details, like the chocolads and a bottle of water in the room, makes you feel very welcome. Breakfast on the rooftop, is every morning a pleasure to look forward to. great quality, served by lovely people! The love for plants shows everywhere. The location of your guesthouse is soo good; quiet but on walking distance of beaches, shops, but also the beautiful authentic streets of Sliema are there. Our stay at your guesthouse attributed to a lot in a very positive way to our vistit to Malta. Thank you so much! We defenitely stay again at the Maltese Sun when visting Malta!

RR Liangsuper relaxing and literally right next to the hotspot of paceville where all the restaurants and shopping centres are, quick car ride to valetta and sliema, service was amazing and room was super super clean. very new hotel so everything was new and clean, they gave us wooden toothbrushes and nice smelling soap, ventilation was good and air conditioning was powerful, no swimming pool or balcony unfortunately but breakfast included and was very yummy, good selection of breakfast foods, service was utterly impeccable. rooms are soundproof so you can’t hear the music of the clubs from the outside. stayed there for three nights and enjoyed each one. would definitely stay again

The location boasted proximity to the coast, shops, and restaurants. However, the room itself presented numerous issues: 1. Despite attempts to invite natural light, the room remained excessively dark due to taped or covered windows, offering only a shaft-view. This created a nearly pitch-black atmosphere, accompanied by disruptive sounds such as water dripping from the air conditioning unit or clicking noises. 2. Persistent clicking noises persisted both with the window open and closed, significantly disrupting sleep. 3. The room did not align with the amenities depicted in online photos, such as a missing table and chairs, leading to a sense of false advertising. Additionally, there was no mention of the shaft-view or the lack of natural light. 4. Cleanliness was lacking, with visible stains on the sink and bathroom wall, leaving an unpleasant odor. 5. Despite promises of Wi-Fi, it only functioned on the first day, causing inconvenience despite efforts by the receptionist to rectify the issue. 6. A displeasing odor upon entry suggested inadequate ventilation or cleanliness standards. 7. The room featured worn-down furnishings, reflecting a lack of investment in maintaining a comfortable environment, contributing to an overall disappointing and depressing ambiance. 8. Difficulty in regulating the water temperature in the shower added further discomfort, swinging between cold and scalding hot. 9. The lack of a duvet and provision of only a thin sheet offered inadequate protection during winter months. 10. Requests to change rooms proved futile, as alternatives offered were disappointingly similar, indicating persistent issues with standard accommodations. 11. The hotel staff's refusal to provide a stay invoice and redirecting responsibility to the booking platform added unnecessary frustration, reflecting a disappointing level of customer service. Ultimately, the hotel's refusal to provide compensation or accept responsibility led to the guest checking out early, resulting in the loss of money and the need to book alternative accommodations.

The hotel is very run down and filthy. It needs a major refurb. The lift didn’t work and you have to climb stairs just to get to reception. The bathroom was disgusting with a very small shower tray that a small child would struggle to stand in with a mouldy shower curtain, the shower leaked all over the floor when you used it. The bathroom door hit the toilet when you opened it. You’d have to go in side ways. The beds were really uncomfortable and didn’t feel clean and fresh facilities were very basic. The air con and fridge were really noisy all night. No breakfast or drinks etc available at all. Balcony’s join up with neighbouring rooms so, no privacy whatsoever and a real security concern, the doors to our room were also flimsy and temperamental to lock. The worst bit was the noise! Every single night there was shouting, screaming and running up and down the stairs. I was woken up constantly. There is a receptionist on 24/7 so, you’d think they would ensure people were quieter. I’m all up for a good time but, this was just taking the mick. It was relentless. One night about 4am someone opened our door and came into our room! I was petrified. Luckily I was already awake because of all the noise in the corridors. Whoever it was just walked out again when I jumped out of bed. Followed by, every single morning hotel staff / house keeping would be really loud and wake everyone up. You could hear word for word conversations. constant loud voices and banging around. The worst place ive ever stayed. I’ve come home absolutely exhausted.
