I stayed at Grand Sovereign Hotel Kuta Bali from Jul 11th to Jul 14th. The hotel was great, the service was excellent, etc, with only one miss: I forgot my laptop charger and left it in hotel meeting room. After I flew back home to Java, I finally realized that I forgot my charger and immediately look a way to contact the hotel. Well, the response was quick and one of the hotel staff, Ms. ANGEL/ANJEL kindly help and sent the charger back to me (I include the pics of the charger and the receipt of the delivery service). What a great post service! With this kind of service, I really recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. Thank you Grand Sovereign, Matur Suksma Ms. ANGEL/ANJEL. 👍👍🙏🙏

First of all, the most special thing about this hotel is its interior design, very classy. many photo spots in the lobby area that can be selected for use. Cons? Hm, almost all. - What is advertised by the hotel in their social media or website with the reality is totally different in regard of COVID 19 health protocols implementations. (at check-in, no one checked our body temperature, offered to use hand sanitizer). By this case, if we have a fever and it turns out one of us positive for covid 19 but we passed the check in process easily. could you still ensure the safety of all guests staying with you? we just wondering, do all point on CHSE implemented by the hotel's staff in daily basis? - Very poor room conditions. quite a lot of wall stains, the duvet cover has lots of stains, the painting in the room when I just checked in, the position almost fell. wow, seriously this hotel is managed by Jayakarta Group? (FYI my room was in 003) - The health protocol banner in the front lobby fell because of the wind but no one noticed? - Staffs attitudes needs to be improved. no one greeted us at all when we were in the lobby, even when the hotel female staff passed us. Well, is it due to we are local Balinese guests and supposed to get this kind of service? No, learn to respect every guest who stays with you. - At the end, we decided to did an early checked out and even the most horrible moment, when I arrived at reception. the staff incharged didn't ask the reason why I decided to did an early checked out. Awesome level of hospitality.

Best western kuta beach, bali. Yhis is my first visit and stay to this hotel, which the location very famous specially to who loves surfing, swimming, sunbathing... 800 m fr the to the famous kuta beach bali. Surrounding by five star hotels, culinairy, beachwalk mall, cafes. The hotel is nice, the room is comfort, clean, tidy, safety box, refrigerator, coffee/tea maker, nice linen pillows'bed/blanket. Breakfast is nice even simple ...

We had a great stay at this hotel but there were issues. I am writing this review as clearly as positive to help you weigh the negatives with the positives, as the value for money WAS excellent. GREAT THINGS The staff are fabulous. You can't beat the location. Right on the main strip of restaurants and next door to Artesedana (old Hardys), so you can buy all the water, drinks and fresh food you need. We had a cabana room and it was exactly as portrayed. Loved our plunge pool and the super comfy lounger chairs. Plenty of pool towels available. This is one of the few Bali hotels I have eaten at that does cakes really well. The breakfast didn't have massive selection, but everything was well cooked and tasty. Room service meals were great too. I am also mindful that any other hotel could offer a plunge pool room with breakfast in a main location for anywhere near the price we paid. It was excellent value for money. NEGATIVES Our king bed was so awful. It was on a wooden base which creaked loudly every time you moved. It also swayed with even the slightest movement, so not great sleep there. It might be worth considering getting twin share so that at least you don't wake each other up all night simply moving. It is very noisy. There were 3 dogs in the laneway behind our room who barked all night. Not intermittent barking, constant barking. There was one night in our 8 night stay where they only barked for a few hours and thankfully went silent - but barked the rest of the evenings. I wore 34db earplugs every night and the dogs still kept me awake. I don't know what was being moved in the rooms above us, but it sounded like furniture was being dragged on and off most of the night. I was incredibly loud and woke us both each time - even me wearing earplugs. The hallways are also very noisy. The internet access is unsecured and you constantly have to keep logging back on, which made it difficult to do work while we were on holidays. Not a negative - but keep in mind this is a low-service hotel in that there is no pool bar and no service at the pool, no money exchange offered (although there is a great money changer directly over the road). This didn't worry us, but could be disappointing for anyone wanting the pool bar experience. CONCLUSION On the whole, I still consider the room was excellent value for money and I enjoyed my stay. Probably wouldn't go back - just because sleep is an important part of the holiday and it was so noisy!

Strategic Cliff location with scenic view of the Nusa Dua seaside as I stayed in the Cliff Tower - executive room 914 and later 1014 Excellent customer service - polite, friendly and accommodating staff always smiling & greetings guests Very comfortable, spacious executive room with a balcony which overlooks the pools, garden and beach area. Very big spread of food & drink variety in Grain restaurant. Healthy and good taste Good selection of wines and fruit drinks in the executive lounge. The snack food were little options and always not enough - room for improvement here. The fitness centre at L1 is spacious but only basic equipment with some free weights. Would need more equipment such as lat pull down, bench/shoulder press, legs extension & curls. Overall excellent stay and will look forward to future holidays here.

Hotel ini hanya beberapa minit berjalan kaki dari kawasan pelancongan Legian/Kuta tetapi berada di tepi jalan yang tenang jauh dari lalu lintas yang bising. Bilik luas, bersih dan berbaloi dengan harga. Terdapat restoran tetapi hanya dibuka untuk sarapan pagi Namun, terdapat banyak restoran berdekatan. Hotel ini hanya beberapa minit berjalan kaki dari kawasan pelancongan Legian/Kuta, tetapi terletak di tepi jalan yang tenang jauh dari lalu lintas yang bising. Biliknya luas, bersih dan berbaloi untuk wang. Terdapat restoran, tetapi ia hanya menyediakan sarapan pagi, tetapi terdapat banyak restoran berdekatan.

1. The aircon was very loud and noisy . Informed staff and they sent a workman to fix it the next day . It made no difference. They offered to send someone in the following day but i felt it was becoming an invasion of privacy so declined 2. Mosquitoes in the room . I recommend nets over the bed as i was a feast for them overnight . The staff offered fly spray but i didnt want to inhale the toxic staff while there. I checked out a night early as i didnt feel this to be a relaxing experience. The hotel is reasonably priced though and the grounds and architecture pleasant otherwise

This hotel was so relaxing and nice on our 6-day stay. The hotel staff was incredibly attentive, courteous, and professional. The restaurant has many delicious options at reasonable prices. The pool has a swim-up bar and we even ate lunch in the pool a few days! The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The common areas are modern and clean. I highly recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Definitely not kinda a hotel i wanted. I was just interested on the discount price in Agoda. But it turned to, i believe, ”real price” . The room is actually quite okay, but stains on the couch, moldy shower room, moldy shower, not so smart TV and the gym is not a gym! It's just a room with treadmill and a stationary bike. They don't have proper dumbells. They only have 0,5 kgs to 1 kg home dumbells. The treadmill is full of sweats like no one's cleaning it, and the kettler dumbells are so dusty ! The swimming pool is more to be hang out place or dipping pool instead of calling it swimming pool. The parking lot is very smal and dirty, so sometimes they put our car to some other field outside of the hotel. The towels and bed sheets look old but still clean. They only have 2 lifts and those are dirty. The good thing is they give enough amenities such as tooth brushes and hair cap, they have hairdryer in the bath room and free water bottles and coffee and tea every day. Just becareful and so called ”discounts” on travelling app, because it might be their ”normal price” , if you know what i mean.

This would be my 5th stay at this resort. The only reason we keep coming here is due to awesome hospitality shown by their staff. The location of the resort adds further value to this. A special shout out to Kutith (if I have got his name right), the bar/kitchen manager near pool. A good person with great work ethics to make sure guests have a good time at resort. The reason I have given 4 star out of 5 is due to below - The rooms are in super need for renovations. Everything in room is starting to become worn out & non functional. We had few lights not working. The balcony door never closed properly, the toilet door had issues and we had water leakage happening from aircon on our last day of stay. The situation was same during our visit in Dec 2022, however as it was recent opening after Covid lockdown, I gave them a benefit of doubt then. Overall, good people & location.... but rooms need renovations...
