Bijia Villa

This is a luscious paradise getaway. Very quiet and tranquil. No motorbike,ceremonial noise and rooster crowing day and night that you get from living in the Ubud centre. Owner was kind and generous to plan a birthday surprise for me given that I was in Bali to celebrate my birthday. Loved the pool and it is well maintained and cleaned daily. Outdoor shower is a unique experience with comfortable hotel quality bed and pillows. 5 star quality stay and will definitely be back again soon! Convenient location to get basic groceries and there’s a few good warungs to eat at. The villa can also be used for a small private group yoga retreat!!

We went there with friend and small kids for a week. Everything was perfect. The villa is very nice and well maintained, the staff is super nice and helpful. The nanny service is amazing. The street and restaurants around are perfect ! We will come back !!

The villa is fresh, renovated, cosy and full of green! You can feel that the owner Mr.Tan put all his love to his villa and it feels like home. The villa is absolutely clean. Ibu Kadek cleans it everyday with love) By the way the kitchen has everything, when we were tired of cafe food , we cooked meals at the villa for children. And the pool was a blessing for my big children) They could swim there everyday! the water was warm and clean. And also I enjoyed to do some Yoga at the green grass area of the villa. The location is incredible, in the heart of Nyuh-Kuning village. We stayed different places of Ubud, it is in calm place and still the centre of Ubud. No street noise and no traffic outside. I liked that we could walk with our family from villa to most of the places, as the area is safe and less traffic than other part of Ubud now in touristic time... We found wonderful cafes near: Mother, Sage, Blacksheep, Swasti Beloved Cafe are our favorite ones. And absolute credits to the staff of villa, they made us feel so beloved and sincerely helped us in everything! And as the owner green plants lover, he puts extraordinary plant everywhere) and all bathrooms are full of greenery! I loves to take shower among this greenery and looking at the open sky at the top😍 We stayed in this beautiful villa for 2,5 month april-may-june, 2022 with my family. We are very greatful the staff and of course the kindest owner Mr.Tan! We stayed in 7 different places in Ubud, so far the Bijia Villa is our favorite one❤️

I loved my five-day stay at Bijia! It was a perfect getaway with a friend, with lots of lounging around, swimming several times a day in the pool, and soaking in the sun. The rooms were well-appointed and comfortable. It was convenient for us to walk a few minutes to nearby cafes/restaurants and a spa. The villa manager was extremely helpful in pointing out good local spots to eat and chill, as well as arranging transport, scooter hire, and other amenities that we required. I was so glad for the opportunity to unwind and felt refreshed after my stay. I wish we were able to stay longer!

I went with 2 other friends and we all loved staying at Bijia Villa in Ubud! When I first came in, I was already deeply attracted by the serenity. It made the stay at Ubud a true Ubud experience (Ubud is known as the spiritual center of Bali). We each had a suite with its own unique open bathroom with green plants. When taking a shower, you could see the stars from the sky above, which is amazing and you would not see elsewhere. Moreover, location and value are incredible. Many authentic and great dining places, cafes and spas are within walking distance. We were able to have a trekking tour to the monkey forest and Campuhan Ridge in the early morning. Last but not least, the host is so responsive and friendly, making sure our stay is as comfortable as home. He arranged an airport pickup, recommended many good value places to eat/visit, otherwise hard to figure out as first time visitors. Can't recommend this place enough!

Loved staying at Bijia Villa in my first trip to Ubud! I went with 2 other friends and the location and value is incredible since we each had our own rooms and own bathrooms. Extremely comfortable stay, even better in person than what you see in the pictures. Location is also great, nestled near monkey forest and a bit away from the Ubud center so you get more of a local feel. Best of all is the host, he is so responsive and will really go above and beyond to not only make sure your stay is comfortable but also give you plenty of tips on how to get the most local experience out of Bali and Ubud. Can't recommend this place enough!
