It was good

Excellent stay at the Asvara. Quaint quieter area of Ubud that still had plenty of local restaurants and lots of rice fields to overlook. Stayed in the 2 bedroom villa which was outstanding. Some of the decking just needs some TLC. Massive thankyou to all of the staff who were so friendly, helpful and accommodating. Would definitely recommend to others.

Great hotel in a nice quiet part of town. Great attention to detail and the breakfast is lush.

Good but location is a bit far and many insects. never used the pool - shower also outdoors🙂

Incredibly beautiful self contained accomodation

Eka & Amelia at the reception was really a star for the hotel super helpful and friendly. Other staffs from housekeeping and engineering are equally friendly but we didn’t get their names. The location is actually at the outskirts of Ubud so don’t get confused with the Villa’s full name but nonetheless it’s nice to be slightly away from the crowd the morning breeze and air freshness was amazing ! A great spot for honeymooners. Room was extremely spacious only thing that could be improved was to have a proper luggage rack what is big enough to place our luggages. As for the shower would really appreciate if there’s a proper divider from the sun bed as each time during shower the soap and water will hit the sun bed not so hygienic in my Opinion . Lastly it’s quite disappointing on the website here it shows photos of the breakfast on floating trays but actually If u want the floating tray you needed to pay additional. Would appreciate if it’s stated Clearly rather that’s a misleading. Photobooth

One of the best villa accommodation. New and clean. Location is essential near the rise fields. Staff are very friendly. Enjoyed my stay very much. Thank you Asvara team for the great hospitality.

The location is a bit hidden but the villa is beautiful and very calming! i would definitely come again tbh.

This hotel is totally over-rated. The reason why: 1. The facilities in the villa are not well maintained. The tiles in the pool are detached and many sharp edges surrounding. Must be very careful and most likely can sit in the pool only instead of swimming. 2. Rate 2/10 of the hygiene part and cleanliness - which easily can be seen on all the bottles of the soup are very dirty. There’s also blood stains and all sorts of dirts on the blanket and towel. 3. The breakfast is only so-so and expect much. To me, this Villa gives a big space of enjoyment but low quality of the facilities which they did not well maintaining on it. Not worth the price at all.

I chose to change from another hotel to this one in hope it would be worth paying more… The villa was fairly run down - pool tiles missing, plastic bottles left at the rice field view. The air conditioning wasn’t on when we arrived and it took almost a whole day to cool down the whole villa, even then it didn’t feel like it worked well. There was no hand soap in the bathroom when we arrived. There was only ONE rattan chair for us to sit on the deck and it was rotted all around the base. All the other villas that were unoccupied the doors were all left open so we could see that all the other villas had 2 day beds! Very confusing and unfortunate that the villa we were given just happened to be not a great one. Otherwise the staff were helpful and lovely… although we were shocked to hear we couldn’t order taxis to the location because its in a “quiet” area of Ubud? So we had no choice but to use their villa taxi to get into town which was 50% more than a regular taxi. Disappointed as I had high hopes for our stay at asvara.

Overall i’d give 3stars. Place wasn’t well maintained. All the towels has stains even after asking for new ones. Sofa and curtain has stains too. Pool n jacuzzi wasnt clean.. Found cockroach and baby millipede in the toilet, given it was near sawa it was understandable. Thankfully the bedsheets were clean. Theres Netflix too. Villa doesnt have scary vibes as ckmpared to other villas in Bali. The security safe was faulty, pls test before placing yr belongings inside. Cudnt open luckily they had manual keys. Shower is outside in the open, so make sure to lock the front door too. And try to shower before sunset. The phone in our room ran out of battery, so we had to go reception to request for help. Not recommended if going with friends/families. Didn’t take any photos because i just wanna enjoy my time in Bali. If ure not fussy, its pretty okay.
