Where do I start? Amazing location it feels so secluded and quiet yet still close enough to ubud town centre. No kids, so there was no noise. Felt so relaxed. I understand why there’s two kayon resorts. They’re sister hotels. The kayon valley resort (where we stayed) is closer to the centre than the kayon jungle resort . Though kayon jungle resort is newer and bigger. In saying that. The kayon valley was amazing. I cannot fault it. Amazing service, super attentive and quick. Did everything we asked for. Help us so much and always presented with a smile.

Outstanding location. Be careful with the slippery floors. I almost fell down twice going down the slopes. The hotel needs to do better job cleaning and overall maintenance. But if you can put up with that, it's an amazing place.

Good - surrounded by nature, very calm and relaxing atmosphere - room feels luxurious and there is a skylight in the shower area - public pool has beautiful view of greenery though I have not tried it personally - decently sized gym with good variety of equipment - decent meal options if you are not keen to explore the outside and brace the horrendous Bali traffic - great service - shuttle services provided to Ubud centre Bad - massage was mediocre for the price Note - it is common to encounter insects since it’s a heavily forested area - mosquito repellent is provided if you want to keep them away from the room - you may encounter monkeys - based on my experience they were more active in late afternoon and it should be fine as long as you keep your doors closed - it’s not walking distance to central Ubud especially in the day - do make use of the shuttle services provided and try to avoid heavy traffic periods (late morning till evening) - they were building new villas at the top of the valley so there is some construction noise in the day - not sure how audible it is in public areas but it sounded more like a light hum from my room, which is one of the nearest ones to the site

This place is wild and I absolutely loved it The free morning yoga experience was the first time I felt so relaxed. We did yoga in the deep valleys of the Ubud mountains, listened to birds chirping and enjoyed a delicious after practice breakfast. Mahon is great value if you compare to any other resorts nearby and I definitely would come again. Location wise is perfect too!

This resort can absolutely bring me surprise ! I celebrated my birthday with my boyfriend in this resort. They prepared a cake and some decoration on our arrival. The pool flower decoration and floating breakfast are awesome. Yet, the cleanness can be improved. I can find the hair ball on the floor when I just check-in . Also , you may expect some insect inside the room and bathroom even though we close the door. One thing I can’t accept was no hot water supplied when I took the shower. It happened on 3rd day stay. We called the staff to fix and it took us at least 40mins to wait. We woke up early and wished to take a shower then sleep early. The staffs are nice and friendly. You can feel so welcoming.

If you don't like the location of The Kayon Jungle, Kayon Valley Resort is also a good choice. It is very accessible, as you can get to Ubud city within 10 minutes by Grab Bike. Also, the staff was very friendly and kind, so I had a great time staying there.

There are 4 jungle pool rooms on the lowest floor. The canyon view is particularly stunning and healing, and the square swimming pool has the best view. The facilities are new and the bathroom is large and spacious. Because the living room is open, you will find animal excrement when you wake up the next day. During your stay, the highest part of the hotel is under construction, and the adjacent guest rooms will be affected. The hotel service is quite satisfactory. They will promote various activities, but all of them are charged except yoga. After booking, I contacted the hotel from the email address on the Ctrip page, and never responded!

Beautiful villa, cleanliness 10 out of 10, no scary creatures or insects. Breakfasts are excellent, a large selection. The staff is friendly and attentive. We were very pleased. Photos from the villa - something with something 🤩🤩🤩

The first hotel in all our travels from which we left on the first night. The hotel does not notify when booking that there is a hellish construction of new villas on the territory. You get to the construction site for $ 300 per day. We could not stand it and left. Thanks to the trip for being able to agree on a refund for an irrevocable reservation. About the hotel itself: 1. Located in the backyards, the road to the hotel seems unsafe 2. The villas - by the feel of it, these are hastily knocked together huts 3. The cleanliness of the villas is questionable. Lots of insects and geckos with centipedes in the room. Moved to another hotel and did not regret it. Choose very carefully

The hotel is located near the center of Ubud. By the way, the hotel provides a transfer to Ubud three times a day and to the Kayon jungle resort. The area is all green, like a botanical garden. The view of the canyon, the jungle - very beautiful. The villa with a pool where we stayed is also good. The only thing that surprised me was the lack of hot water, I really wanted to take a shower after the road, but we never got any water. In the bathroom, after a long drain of cold water, hot water appeared. The breakfasts from the menu are gorgeous. You can order as many dishes as you want. The presentation is beautiful, like in a restaurant, the service is at a high level. The hotel staff are very friendly, always with a smile and a desire to help with any questions. You can order food from the restaurant to your room, they cook very quickly and the prices are normal. The minibar is paid. Chips, beer, wine, soda. Overall, I really liked our offer here. There is nothing interesting outside the hotel, you need to use the hotel transfer or call a taxi to go, for example, to the center. I recommend the hotel 👍

The hotel is beautiful and conveniently located. It is not a new hotel, but it is OK overall. The only thing I think is very average is that not all the hotel staff are up to standard. The management system is also average. They do not provide the services that a 5-star hotel should provide. They are very slow in handling matters and do not provide guests with very good services. I think a villa needs to provide better services. The price is cheap. They do not provide the services that a high-end villa should provide. You need to remind them of many things and repeat the requirements over and over again.
