Great location in the heart of Legian`s nighttime entertainment district - walking distance to bars, restaurants, and clubs. Great breakfast in the restaurant overlooking the pool. Very friendly staff.

Matahari is the best place i’ve stayed in Legian ever!! The staff are the nicest people and the pool is fantastic. A true oasis tucked off the main street 🤗

Great customer service. The staff were really helpful and kind. Just a feedback for improvement, towels need to be replaced, they're old and not looking clean. But apart of that, it was a super nice play to stay in Kuta.

Need to improve their customer service experience. Need to change aircon in the old rooms. Need to add more light in hallway.

Great location.

A wonderful, cozy hotel with a large, well-kept garden. It's located in the middle of bustling Legian, but once you step inside, you're transported to heavenly tranquility. The breakfasts are delicious, à la carte. The staff is incredibly kind—everyone smiles and promptly fulfills requests. They even provide babysitting for guests' children.

It's located on a busy street, but you can't hear anything because of the surrounding greenery. The grounds are spacious and well-maintained. We highly recommend it! Even the breakfasts are good, with avocado toast and eggs Benedict.

The standard rooms are dark and not suitable for couples. The shower is fixed and difficult to use. Even in the rooms with bathtubs, there is no plug, so you can't use it. There are a lot of breakfast options. You can order an extra plate in addition to the fixed plate. Even if you pay by credit card, a deposit is required. It's a hassle because you need a special card to rent pool towels. It's even more of a hassle because you need the same card to get your deposit back at check-out. (They say they return the card every time they clean, but I didn't have a cleaning.) It was my first time in Legian, so I chose a hotel in the center, but next time I don't think I'll stay at this hotel.

A very pleasant hotel in the middle of a beautiful garden. The rooms are simple and the equipment basic but well maintained and the staff very helpful.

The hotel is surrounded by greenery in the center of noisy Kuta. The rooms are dark and tired, but the territory and the staff are just superb.

Wonderful hotel, large territory, very tasty breakfasts.
