This villa is just beautiful! 4 separate 'pods' surround a gorgeous pool, which is overlooked by a rooftop bar, BBQ, and sunning spots. The pods house the lounge, fully equipped kitchen and dining room - with a 10 seater dining room table. The other 3 pods house enormous bedrooms with king-size beds and ensuited, with the master suite having a massive outside bath. The Villa is absolutely filled with stunning Indonesian artwork, all of which add a very opulent feel. The lower level has a designated yoga room, with a viewing window to beneath the pool. The entryway is surrounded by fish ponds, and there are 2 more ponds outside pods number 2 and 3. Arta, the housekeeper, and his staff are polite, unobtrusive, and helpful. He is quick to respond to any issues and will even arrange to have your laundry done at a very reasonable rate per kilo. We found it very hard to leave the villa every day, as it is so beautiful. However, there are plenty of places to have massages, and excellent restaurants are very close by. The new Icon Bali was very close to completion, and about 200m away. Shotgun Social is about a 10 minute walk away and near the beach (probably the closest way to get to the beach). Soul on the Beach is also on the beach, and I highly recommend having a meal there. The beach, although it looks close by on the map, is not easily accessible from the villa. You will need to walk to a road that takes you straight to the beach (about a 10 - 15 minute walk to the left or right of the main street). I can not praise this villa enough. It is so beautiful, so peaceful, and we will definitely be back.

Luckily we were able view the property before agreeing to rent. Sadly this villa is in dire need of some love. Water leaks/stains in bedroom will develop into mould if left for much longer. Roof-top area needs water blasting to remove the vegetation. Outside bath was dirty. It looks like no-one has been here since COVID hit, definitely not the maintenance guys. This property would be a great (again) when returned to its 2017 glory. I suggest that buyer beware and wait to see some updated photos before committing to the approx AUD500/night rate.
