Ulasan Holiday Inn Bangkok Silom, an IHG Hotel

Very good services from bellboy to anyone we have connected, also just breakfast restaurant and soft drink lobby lounge. Sure will choose again when to BKK. We’re on 23/F per request non smoking.

The hotel stay experience is great. We were lucky to have our room upgraded when checking in and the suite room was exciting and spacious. Nearby restaurants included a few Thai, Japanese, Italian and Indian food, also Starbucks and some chain stores/supermarkets, all in walking distance. The hotel's own breakfast buffet is also great at affordable price. Gym is nice too. I definitely recommend Holiday Inn Silom to travellers who would like to enjoy cleaniness, concenience and quiet stay.

Well, this is my second stay at this hotel in 3 months time. This time I got a room with a bath tub which is absolutely fine with me. However, there is no rack or shelf for the shower gel and shampoo, so I need to bend over 90 degrees for several times in a shower which is quite annoying. The sink also has a long hair from a previous lady guest. Photo attached for details. Other than the bathroom, the mattress is also a bit too soft especially by the edge, so I need to sleep in the center of the king size bed to avoid a bad back in the morning. Secondly, the same old issue happened again (it happened in my last visit in July) as the room maid took the room key away from the slot by the entrance of my room, to save energy I presumed This time I have no choice but to run down to the front desk and addressed the happening to the asst. Front office manager. I need to reiterate to her and she agreed that is not the proper action to do in view of the security of my room. Later on, Ms Paantayamon, the manager sent me a fruit plate and chocolate to compensate for the inconvenience caused. I sincerely urged her to conduct more training to the room maids of their uwnprofessional behavior to take room keys away from any guest rooms. It posed a security issue if the key is in the wrong hands. Finally, I hope the hotel looks into this seriously before any theft or loss happens due to the key being taken away from a guestroom.

The room was filled with polluted gas. I got very sick and was moved to upgraded room. The bellguy was saying to hurry when carring with cart with my luggages. I did not understand his attitude. I put Dont Disturb sign on during the whole stay. I put out trash everyday. There was a paper left in room. I think the housekeeper got in the room and left it. It is very disrespectful and inconsiderate behavior. The housekeeper is not a decent or sane person and the person should follow conscience.

Just a great place to stay. Great room. Wonderful soft mattresses on beds. Spacious full bathroom. Great eating and drink options. Best breakfast buffet included. Got a terrific deal on Trip.com.

The quilt cover got stain, either the laundry department not doing a good job or the chambermaid not attentive. The quality of the bedroom slipper is very thin n it got dirty on day 3 but chambermaid did not provide a new pair for me despite I threw this dirty slipper in dustbin, they can picked it up & placed in back on the floor

I found that the aircon temperature is very cold in the room, as in terms of eco- friendly they’re definitely out of the question, we did tried to adjust the temperature but is unsuccessful, hope they can really look into the sustainability way to let the room guests can have their own choice.

Good service and location. But the facilities are rather old. Need renovations

The Location was a walkable distance to the Skytrain and the Ferry pier for Chaophraya river. The hotel was good in all aspects, quick check-in, clean rooms, the Breakfast was the Best of all, good variety and spread and we thoroughly Enjoyed our 3 nights stay at this hotel. The Terrace open Swimming Pool and cafe at the lobby for drinks was nice too.

As a family we’ve got a communicated room with our 3 kids! Amazing services and cleanliness! Also an amazing pool but they close at 8pm and we couldn’t stay longer! Even until 8 we did have a lot of fun!

good location. room is not brand new but alright for business travel.

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel room was bigger than expected, room was clean and the king size bed was comfortable. Transport via Bolts was easy and efficient. It didn’t take long from the hotel to the Chinatown and the shopping malls. Breakfast at the hotel was good too. Overall we are very pleased with our stay in this hotel.
