The first room I was brought to had cockroaches, which was a huge mood killer. I had to buy bug spray.
Thankfully on my 2nd night, I was moved to a bug free room.
Overall, the hotel itself is great value for money and the rooms are massive. Gym was really big too. But the building is old so you may get bugs in your room.
While location is in Sathorn, the hotel itself is kinda in a really remote area so there aren’t any convenience stores or restaurants or anything nearby so you do have to take a Grab out all the time.

The hotel itself is very nice and it is located in a very good location where you can visit most of the tourist spot within 10mins (traffic exlcuded hehe)
The service crew were very kind and well trained as well. They are always smiling and greeting you first no matter what
However, i cleaniness was bit so so, the room looked very clean but when i look at the back of the table where the power sockets are, there was full of dust.
Also when i went down around 1-2am to have a cigarette at the 4th flr, i smell some ********* near the elevator located in tower 7 side. Since the hotels guest are mostly “family” group so there are lots of kid as well, so it would be better if you guys can be more strict about the policy for the *********

The best hotel experience so far, it was a whole new level of hospitality.
We have been on a trip to Vietnam and the Thailand for over 2 weeks of time and stayed at over 10 different hotels during our trip.
Shama yen has been the best one so far in terms of satisfaction, we stayed at 2 other hotels in Bangkok, where one of them was almost the same price, but not as good as Shama yen.
The hotel building is a complex located not too far from the central area of Bangkok, you can get there easily from the nearest railway station with a taxi or Grab within 200 THB depending on the busy hours.
The room that we stayed in was very spacious, even had a small kitchen area with dining table and sofa, and lots of amenities.
I think they have washing machines in the bigger rooms (we saw them on the balconies when we were swimming in the outdoor pool, which was also clean and nice.)
Although our room did not have a washing machine, they have a very nice laundry room that is self-service for free, we used it to dry our clothes.
What we really liked was that the room had multiple lightnings options to set up the mood depending on your preferences and a big closet area in the bathroom to store your luggages.
They provided everything we needed for our stay.
The only issue we had was unable to connect your phones to the smart TV in our room, we wanted to watch a movie, tried both Netflix and screenshare, neither worked, we ended up watching movie on our phone instead.

Good value for money. The hotel is in a good neighborhood that has a lot of dining options — from street food to the more upscale restaurants. Similarly, many services like massage, haircut, nail services are also on the same street. The room is adequate and clean.

I saw a lot of criticism of this hotel for being dirty, dated, and poorly maintained which I just don't understand. Sure, maybe the last time it was refurbished was twenty-some years ago, I don't know, but I felt the fundamental quality of the fittings, the decor, and the amenities was basically the same as a new build hotel you'd pay four times as much for. My room was clean, taken care of every day, and the house keeping staff were really lovely and kind. Ok, maybe the grout and the skirting boards could do with a scrub, but it was basically fine, and I found the ”American Psycho at the dentist” aesthetic of the room to be kind of charming. I liked the furniture! The chair was a nice touch, a great place to read and take coffee in the morning. The desk was actually functional. The bed was absolutely huge, and very comfortable. Of course, Sribumpen is one of the best streets to stay on if you want to be located in the Sathorn area, there are loads of good dispensaries and restaurants nearby, and the hotels policies made it a convenient place to enjoy both. I will say though, I booked this hotel in part because of the rooftop gym shown in many of the pictures. The rooftop is indeed beautiful, with a great pool and great views, but the gym building is completely gone. I don't know what happened to it, but if your morning workout is essential, be warned.

We booked two rooms. Room, bathroom, and bed sizes are fine. There are also bottles of mineral water in the fridge and coffee station. There's a walk-in wardrobe with a full-length mirror on the door. TV and a hairdryer, which we didn't try.
Cleanliness, though, is of below standard of a Thai accommodation. The bathroom has mould on tiles and one of the towels had some dried brown spots which are not stubborn stains, and there's a stench of something (urine?) on the curtains. The AC was working, so it helped. The hot.shower was.ok in the morning, but it's gone at night, so make sure you shower before it gets too late unless you do enjoy cold showers.
We paid similar price in the past at Centre Point Chidlom for much better facilities, service and including breakfast, also shuttle to the nearest MRT station. There's an outside space, I guess you could hang your wet clothes there.
The daytime staff were nice but the evening staff looked like she really didn't want to be there. But to be fair, the reception area is not big, and guests do leave suitcases there either waiting to be checked in or waiting to leave after check out, including ours. So I thank them for that allowance.
Location is ok if you like walking but the nearest
MRT station is at least 20 minutes' walk with no well-defined pavement. 7/11 is just around the corner and there are plenty of eating venues.
I wouldn't come back to this hotel again but wouldn't write it off completely if I'm squuzed with my budget.

The staff was nice, and the pool at night was prett night view. However, I went to the pool once during the day, there was a smoking area next to the pool, but a foreigner smoked *********. I know smoking ********* is legal in Thailand, but since hotels are public facilities, many places prohibit it. Even there were children playing in the pool right next smoking area… Except for this, generally satisfied with the location and facilities.

JJkoh1Good location. Directly linked to MBK (via level 2) and National Stadium BTS. There’s a 7-11 at level 1. Modern and clean room. Buffet breakfast spread was good and some food items were changed daily. Go before 9am to avoid queues. Can reach Siam square, Siam paragon in less than 15min walk. However sound proof is quite bad. Can hear the traffic sound at night on level 19

Impressed by service rendered by staff. Check in staff was nice to help extend a slightly later checkout timing as i had a late night flight. Staff also assist us with booking of car to the airport and help communicate with Grab driver to ensure there is sufficient boot space for our luggage.
Location is ok, hotel do provide shuttle bus to Asoke BTS station or you can also walk about 7 mins to the station. Walkable distance to EMSPHERE mall with lots of food choices.
Most of the time we commute via Grab so this hotel is great for us.

TThe Dividend NomadThe front desk staff were very friendly and fast. Level of English was excellent and checking in was very easy and fast. There is a little Japanese restaurant and bar / coffee shop in the lobby with breakfast also. Also the gym was very nice and clean and had everything you need. Nearby working 1-2 minutes walk were lots of food , coffee, massage , ******** shops etc. was only 60 baht grab ride to airport and about 6-7 minutes drive. Illl stay here again if need a nice clean place to stay near the airport.

Teman saya secara tidak sengaja terjatuh semasa pergi ke bilik air ketika mendaftar masuk pada malam pertama Apabila kami menemui hotel pada waktu pagi, mereka hanya mengesyorkan hospital tanpa sebarang komen sama sekali patah tulang Apabila kami mendaftar keluar, kami memberitahu meja depan bahawa penyelia berkata ya. tak terkata!

PPengguna Tanpa NamaThe staffs care only about foreigners, a Thai person as myself always got ignored by the staffs. When I drive into the hotel, there was no security guard at all and when I parked my car, no staffs were there to offer me help to or tell me where the lobby is. The signs were confusing. I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, they don’t change the bedsheets or bathrobes at all, I came back to still found the dirty bathrobe I left on the floor being picked up and hanged back on the door hook. I wouldn’t trust them for the cleanliness of the room after seeing this. The room is not soundproof at all, you can hear all the sounds outside in the hallway and I can even see the light from the hallway all night so it didn’t offer me even the basic like goodnight of sleep for 3 days because all I can hear is the other rooms’ door closing sound all night for 3 nights. Even worse, the policy is no smoking but I can smell smoking everyday that I stayed here. I told the staffs 3 times but they didn’t take any action at all. Until the last night, I came back early and saw the room next to my room openly smoking in their room. Plus My room lights also all went out when I inserted my keycard, I thought my keycard was faulty so I went down to the lobby to change my keycard and complaint to the staffs about the smoking and the loud sound. They offer apologies and they said they would take action about the smoking. They even have the audacity to ask me why I don’t tell them earlier and do I know which room smoke. I’m a woman staying here alone, even if I heard or smell anything, would I dare to go out of my room to check? Common sense right? At last they resolved the smoking issues because when I went back to my room after I complained, the room next door was shut tight but I came back to my room still unclean (at this point it was 5pm already and I left my room at 8am, plenty of time to clean my room). The lights still wouldn’t turn on, I tried calling them from the room line but the staffs wouldn’t pick up the phone. I had to go out of my room to find the housekeeper and had them call someone to fix this. Half an hour later, the handyman showed up, told me he needed 1-1.5 hours to get this fix and proceeded to ask me if I hade some business to run. I said fine because I had some appointment and I would be back around 8-9 pm. I came back at around 10pm, I asked the lobby staffs if my room got fixed already, they said yes and please go check it myself if the lights came back, if not they would change the room for me. So I got back to my room. I was lying down ready to go to sleep when, tada!, the room’s light and ac went out again. I called them from the room line again, lucky they picked up this time, I told them I would like to get my room changed. They said would send staffs to help me move my stuffs. I cleaned up my things while waiting for staff to show up and show me a new room (during this time, the light came back and went out repeatedly for 2-3 time). I had to wait for them for 10 minutes at 11am. They moved my stuffs to the new room in the same floor but a bit smaller room. I wanted to get my sleep so I didn’t complain about the room being smaller and not what I had paid for. I got to go to sleep at about 12-1 am. In the morning, at around 11am they called me asking me would I be checking out today. I mean they wouldn’t even offer me late checkout for what I had to really because of your faulty electricity and all the problems that had occurred while I was staying here. I wouldn’t stay here again😤.

KKimweezHotel bandar Bang Kok adalah nilai yang hebat untuk wang, bilik yang selesa dan kakitangan yang mesra. Apa yang paling menonjol ialah bufet sarapan pagi mereka setiap pagi yang menyajikan lebih 10 hidangan mi, nasi, daging dan sayur-sayuran. Jauh lebih baik dan bernilai daripada sarapan kontinental di beberapa tempat yang lebih besar.

PPengguna TetamuLove Furama Silom! Located in very good spot in Silom. We booked superior room and it was very spacious with Bangkok city view (*pic), bed was good quality and we always had good sleep, breakfast was amazing and they have wide variety (asian, western, salads, coffees, juices, pastries), staff was friendly and speak English well. Their restaurant room service also worth to try, especially ‘Thai green curry’! My favorite is the view from the rooftop pool 🌃 also 711 is just 2 buildings down the road. Def had lovely experience and can’t wait to go back to BKK and stay here again :)
