PPengguna TetamuReally welcoming and friendly staff who were eager to help wherever they could. We arrived here at the end of our trip from Melbourne along the Great Ocean Road to Adelaide, so the comfort was very much appreciated after spending nights sleeping and living in a campervan.
The hostel itself is very clean and maintained. There are multiple TV rooms, a massive chill-out area, and bathrooms that feel more like a hotel than a hostel. We booked a private room with shared bathroom. The room was a good size, with a balcony, a desk, and 2 large, comfortable double bed. It was also air-conditioned.
The kitchen is large and well equipped, with multiple fridges and stovetops, as well as a microwave, cleaning products, and recycling facilities. The only downside is that some guests could be tidier and put their things away after washing up / cooking.
The location is excellent — right in the centre of the city. You can walk everywhere: the bus station, supermarkets, China/Asian town, restaurants, and Adelaide Central Market are all just minutes away.
Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here and would happily stay again.

PPengguna TetamuNo car park attached to hotel, have to drive to car park yourself or pay $55 for a chauffeur to drive it. Room service menu was fancy stuff from the downstairs restaurant. Nothing simple. Not even room service breakfast available. On the note of the restaurant downstairs this is where the “buffet” breakfast was and I use that term loosely. Shocking variety. Even have to do our own coffees right in a tiny corner of the the room. One coffee at a time while the line gets bigger. We have to get a special order for eggs because the scrambled eggs are just mush. At least the toaster worked. And the space fits maybe 20 which is fine for a B&B but not for a 16 floor hotel. We had to have breakfast at 8 to avoid the crowds waiting at 9 and later. In the room itself (we had a suite), there were light switches EVERYWHERE. And they were all so confusing as you couldn’t see what they said. Then the one in the bathroom you had to walk in and close the door to access it. No fan ventilation for showers. Bath mats being so thin gets immediately soaked after one shower. No face washers. Bench was too low for a bathroom. Hand towels way too low. The size of the bathroom was nice though and the shower pressure was good. TV remote didn’t work properly, could not find all amenities like coffee, tea, fridge even etc. No nice hotel guide folder to help us out. The “desk” was the tv cabinet when there was plenty of space in the lounge area to have a desk. Then we had a balcony with no chairs or table to sit at (can easily have some out there and bolt them down for safety). The temperature stuff don’t even get me started. Uncomfy beds and flat pillows. I ended up sleeping on the lounger as it was more comfortable.
I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon. Wasn’t horrible but wasn’t great. The staff were nice though which was a nice change

PPengguna TetamuIt was a lovely 2-night stay in the Oceanview Twin Room. We were offered an upgrade for just $20 a day to enjoy a balcony, definitely worth it! Loved the location, so close to shops with plenty of food and drink options. The kids and I also had a great time relaxing in the heated pool and spa, even in the cold weather.

The service response is fast from the frontdesk. However, room cleanliness is very much lacking
1. There was a plastic wrapper and chuck of dust dirt at corner of room when I check in. The following day after cleanup was done and I return to room in late afternoon. Wrapper and dust remains untouch at corner. I have to call the front desk to ensure following day cleaning team will vaccum and do a proper clean up.
2. Air vent above the shower area was filled and clot up with black dirt. I just avoid looking at it as disgusting
3. There are dead insects stuck on the shower door rubber *****. I tried to wash it away but as need to pull out the seal I left it and again avoid eye contact.🤮
4. Pillow case has brown stains at ths edge. I had to request for a new piece.
Additionally the mattress has dents and clumpy, so I was unable to sleep as feeling itchy through out night with images of dirt insects flashing through my thoughts.
Coupled with the loud music and noises from below. I reserve the rooms more than 3 months before trip and request for high floor as saw reviews on the noise. BUT was not block for us so end up on the 2nd floor.
I wont stay in this hotel again.

It seemed positioned perfectly to watch TV from the bath, but id rather have a comfortable viewing from the bed. It also meant two of us squeezed on to one side of the b
Bed to be able to see the TV. The mattress was also uncomfortable and clearly needs replacing. It sloped one side and had a big bump in the centre.
Overall a good hotel but I wouldn't stay in that specific room again.

Mmiweekend Janice BehThe overall experience swings to both extremes — some things were very good, while others were quite disappointing.
Good:
New and Modern interior design, especially impressive for a motel-rated property.
Spacious room with an exceptionally comfortable bed.
Wide variety of in-room beverages.
Concierge staff were very friendly and helpful.
Free parking for motel guests (unlike the sister hotels, which charge $15 for 24 hours).
Bad:
No self-service laundry — a major drawback for a motel. I had to walk 480m to a public laundromat on first day.. then only learned that we can use laundry service at sister hotel.
Poorly designed shower area. The shower platform is higher than the toilet section, causing water to flow out into the toilet area instead of towards the drain — very odd design.
Internet is weak, unstable, and slow. If your child wants to play Roblox… forget it.
Housekeeping needs significant improvement. They didn’t wash the mugs and glasses, didn’t clear used plates, didn’t sweep the floor, and didn’t replace the trash bag — they only changed the towels.

They also have an interesting buffet offering for 20 dollars, i haven't tried it out, but i heard it quite nice.

However, the surrounding area was quite noisy on the weekend nights. There were many drunk people around, shouting and making a lot of noise, which affected the overall experience, especially when trying to rest.
If you’re planning to stay here, I’d recommend requesting a quieter room or being prepared for some weekend nightlife noise.

I had a wonderful stay at the Stamford Hotel in Adelaide. The location is unbeatable – right in the heart of the city, just across from the ****** and railway station, with plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. It’s incredibly convenient with easy access in every direction, whether you’re heading out for sightseeing, dining, or business.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service was friendly and efficient. This has become my go-to place whenever I visit Adelaide, and I’ll definitely continue to stay here in the future.
Highly recommended!

PPengguna TetamuAs I was going to be leaving from the Parklands Train Terminal early in the morning this hotel was perfectly situated for my trip. Although I wasn't at the hotel for very long only about 12hrs overnight it was a good location and the room faced the parking so meant it was quieter as well and didn't get the hot afternoon sun either. I would say though there was no pricelist I could find for the mini-bar, not that I used it was only thinking of grabbing some cold water that was in the fridge. The one thing I wasn't a fan was the spa tub/shower combo. The jets need a serious clean all around them but then even standing in it meant anyone tall as in 6'5” plus may have to bend down. I would think they should rip out the spa tub and put in a nicer rain shower shower stall instead maybe just provide spa tubs in rooms that you can also put a shower stall into.
I'd stay here again mainly for the location as it's also right across the street from the big park area which was fantastic to walk around on a warm evening after dinner at the pub up the street.
