Hotel Deqin dengan Bar

My husband and I had been traveling around Yunnan for our honeymoon for about 10 days when we arrived at the Linden center hotel in Benzilan, which we chose at random to discover the area a bit. This turned out to be our favorite stay in Yunnan. The hotel itself is brand new, and it is clear a lot of thought was put into everything to turn it into a (very!) comfortable and beautiful haven in the middle of those mountains. Fa Cai (nickname), the young manager of this place went above and beyond to make our stay extra special, making sure we had everything we needed, arranging for smooth transportation in an area where it’s not easy, recommending local excursions, and just generally being super friendly and extremely professional (and speaking great English, which was an added bonus!) Thanks to her we also got to know about the center’s cultural mission in Yunnan and rural China beyond the hotel(s), and the founder’s exciting initiatives which we will be following. The young man who was working alongside her was great too, and so were the other staff/ cooks who always prepared simple delicious meals. Everything was perfect, we did not want to leave! We will be sure to go back, and hopefully visit the other Linden center locations in Yunnan!

we arrived late and exhausted. the staff was very well welcoming, pleasant and caring. they contract us a day before for all the arrangement and even a lovely gesture of a strawberry cake for our anniversary. the bar was wonderful with comfort atmosphere. we woke up early (the hotel will provide a forecast too) for the sunrise view at the bar, and there is even a thoughtful staff there to prepare us warm teas for the cooling morning. we went back to rest as not well after the viewing, missed our bfast but got the staff to help us on checkout. it was pleasant staying there but unfortunately we didnt get to see the beautiful sunrise due to the heavy frost.

I booked this hotel without knowing that it is known for and it was a good surprise from almost every perspective of my experience. The staff in Sunyata are very friendly, well presented and treated us with their trained professionalism as well as friendliness. Both the hotel and room interior are designed thoughtfully and by later reading the magazine that was left in the room I realised that it was meant to be a masterpiece which I think is what has been achieved with no efforts spared. The top floor enjoying a 270 degree unobstructed view of the snow mountains obviously is the cherry on the top of the cake, and it absolutely delivered and truly made the stay in the hotel one of the most unforgettable experience in Meili. The amenities are nicely provided in good quality, and the beddings feel comfortable and clean. The food we had in the attached restaurant was delicious and the interior is also a masterpiece 24 hours in a day. The only shortcoming that I can say about my experience is that the food in the self served area for the breakfast became empty with still about one hour to go, and staff seemed unbothered or even intended to do so. Overall it is a beautiful boutique hotel which was beautifully designed and operated with a high standard. I would like to revisit if I can.

This is my absolute favorite hotel during my trip to China. The design is truly beautiful and full of cultural charm, with a stunning view of the snow-capped mountains - especially at sunrise. I really fell in love with the atmosphere here: cozy, calm, modern yet deeply rooted in local culture. It felt like a true vacation home, the perfect place to unwind after long days of traveling. I could see the mountains right from my balcony, but the best view is from the coffee area on the 4th floor. I also got to try several traditional activities during my stay, which made the experience even more memorable. The food was delicious - both breakfast and dinner - and despite the cold weather, the room stayed warm and incredibly comfortable. The hotel has everything you could possibly need, so you don’t even have to step outside. I'll definitely come back someday just for a relaxing getaway!

Lovely hotel with great view, although the weather was not good during the two days we stayed, we still had a great time despite not seeing the full meri mountains. They had promotional activities during the 5/1 holiday where we hand painted tongka, and made ******* weaving stone accessories. The staff was kind and polite. The design of the architecture is stunning, I would recommend all couples to stay at this hotel. The only downside is that nighttime dinner options are very limited, recommend guests to walk out to nearby premises to have dinner instead. The breakfast at this hotel was nice.

Fantastic location with an incredible view from the room. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and warm (due to the heated floor). There was also a heated blanket on the very firm bed. The evening meal menu was good and the food excellent - food needs to be ordered by 4pm. Upstairs on the roof (a great spot for watching the sunrise) is a little coffee shop. Walking poles are available to borrow and crampons can be hired. A suggestion would be to have more hooks in the room for hanging coats, towels etc. Our room only had 1, which was loose.

This was such a stunning hotel! About 3 hours from Shangri-La town. The hotel offered uninterrupted views of the MeiLi Snow mountains which was so upclose and beautiful. Not many other hotels in the vicinity so it was it was peaceful stay. On the day of arrival, the hotel offered us afternoon tea and snacks paired with coffee made by their staff. The rooms were spacious with heating and oxygen supply. The bathrooms were modern and well lit. The breakfast was great too. The hotel does not offer dinner but they arranged transport for us to be taken to a beautiful restaurant nearby. The staff shared useful information about transport services with us and was always so pleasant. I would heartily recommend this place to others.

I had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful hotel. The location is perfect—just about 20 minutes from the busy town center, which makes it wonderfully quiet and peaceful. Every morning, I woke up to an amazing mountain view that instantly set the tone for a relaxing day. The property itself is stunning, especially the vineyard, which adds so much charm. I loved the free wine tasting sessions, and the hosts were incredibly kind, caring, and always eager to make sure we had everything we needed. Their warm hospitality truly made the experience feel personal. The food was excellent, with every meal prepared thoughtfully and bursting with flavor. For those who love a bit of adventure, the ATV facilities are a fantastic addition. We also enjoyed grape plucking right in the vineyard—such a unique and fun activity! Overall, this place is a perfect blend of tranquility, great service, and memorable experiences. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature with a touch of adventure. One small issue I had was that the air-conditioner was blowing warm air, but after I informed the team, they fixed it within a short time. Great service and quick response — really appreciated it!

I stayed here for 2 nights and had an amazing experience. The room provides a great view of the mountains with floor to ceiling windows and everything in the room, including the bed, chairs, clothes rack and bathroom, are well-maintained and clean. The room provides a sense of luxury and cleanliness during your getaway to this village. The location is excellent, as you are one of the first, if not the first accommodation facing the mountains, so the view is excellent. It is in a great location for exploring upper yubeng and the glacier lake. What made our stay unforgettable was the amazing service we received by the owner and staff whilst we stayed here. The lady provided us with everything we needed to know during our stay in yubeng, including sunrise times, and answered any and every question we had about yubeng as a whole. They provided an atmosphere that was very welcoming and it really does feel like I was invited to stay at their home. They provided free water and free laundry service, as well as free use of hiking poles for our hikes. The breakfast included was excellent and was different for each day we stayed, and they provide you with a free lunch pack to take on your hike, which was a nice gesture which we appreciated. Additionally, everyone here speaks both mandarin and cantonese, so if you're travelling from Guangdong or Hong Kong and would like to feel at home, this is the perfect place to be. Overall, this was an amazing accommodation to stay at due to the amazing service, location and facilities and the owner and her family really do treat you like family. I would highly recommend staying here, and if I ever come back to yubeng, I will definitely stay here again!

A lack of budget options in Yubeng has left this place somewhat complacent in its upkeep, and general care-factor. If you can’t find any staff for afternoon check-in, you can try checking behind the desk to see if there’s one asleep there, like we did. The room had an oil heater and electric blankets which was great. The beds were clean and comfy, and the make-shift plumbing produced lots of hot water. There was an AC unit installed as advertised, but it was not able to be connected to the electricity outlet. When asked, a staff member informed us that AC was “not allowed” and that the unit did not have a heating function anyway. The view from the rooms is oriented down and across the valley, rather than towards the snowy peaks. You would pay a lot less for this standard of accommodation elsewhere in China, but given that it is in Yubeng, the remoteness necessarily increases its cost. both Upper and Lower Yubeng are experiencing a huge construction boom, no doubt in anticipation of the upcoming opening of the upgraded road to Xidang. The future situation might well increase competition in the future.
