I have never experienced such warmth and genuine kindness from hotel staff anywhere else—but the owner herself took hospitality to an entirely new level. From the moment we arrived with our two small children, she made us feel completely at home. She anticipated every little need, went out of her way to accommodate our requests, and even upgraded us—free of charge—to their largest apartment with a breathtaking sea view, just so our family would have more space and comfort. Her thoughtfulness and attention to detail were incredible; whatever we wished for, she found a way to make it happen. This wasn't just a stay—it was a truly heartwarming experience. We left feeling deeply grateful and will definitely return. 我从未在任何地方遇到过如此温暖、真诚的待客之道，而这位女主人更是把“热情”二字诠释到了极致。我们带着两个年幼的孩子刚到达，她就让我们感觉像回家一样自在。她细心地察觉我们的每一个需求，竭尽全力为我们提供便利，甚至还免费为我们升级到他们最大的海景公寓，只为让我们的家人拥有更宽敞舒适的空间。她的体贴和周到令人感动——只要是我们的愿望，她都会想办法实现。这不仅仅是一次住宿，更是一次让人从心底感到温暖的美好经历。离开时我们满怀感激，也一定会再回来。

The mansion's intricate design highlights the cultural fusion in the region. Recent renovation efforts aim to preserve its historical significance while adapting it for modern use, contributing to the revitalization of the Sanjiangkou area and reflecting Ningbo's evolution and aspirations in international trade. Overall the rooms are beautifula and the property is beautiful.

I recently stayed at a hotel, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The room was modern, bright, and very quiet, even though the area was quite busy. The bed was extremely comfortable, with soft, well-kept linens that made a big difference after long days out. The bathroom was also great, with a strong shower and good-quality amenities. The service was one of the highlights of the stay. The staff were always polite, attentive, and quick to help with anything needed, from check-in to small requests during the stay. Breakfast had a good variety of options, all well-prepared and tasty, including fresh fruit, pastries, and hot drinks. Overall, it was a very pleasant and convenient experience. It was a comfortable stay, and I would definitely come back again.

We love this hotel, especially the experience and would give more than 5 stars if we could. There are multiple playgrounds and venues for the children. I would say they have the best and cleanest indoor heated pool in Ningbo and the staff bring a feel of a true International five star hotel. We live in Ningbo and this is our fifth staycation at this hotel because of how much fun we have. I can say that on various occasions the receptionists, concierge in the lounge, supervisors and managers have gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome . The previous trip was for my daughter’s birthday, but this time it was for spring festival where we got to make rice, cakes, sign scrolls, even a dragon dance. It was truly special because they didn’t just hire people,it was the entire management team. We had a great time and will be back soon.

We had the most wonderful stay at Qixia Shanju Hotel. As international travelers, we were truly touched by how warmly and kindly we were treated from the very first moment. The hospitality here is exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and cared for. They prepared a fire for us, brought us warm milk, and even shared food with us at times. These thoughtful gestures meant so much to us, especially being far from home. Their kindness felt genuine and heartfelt. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. The environment is peaceful, clean, and very quiet — perfect for relaxing. It is located right by the water streams, which makes the atmosphere even more calming and special. Waking up to such natural surroundings was truly refreshing. This was more than just a stay; it felt like being welcomed by family. We are so grateful for the warmth, generosity, and care we experienced here. We will always remember this place and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, tranquility, and sincere hospitality. Thank you for making our trip so memorable. 💛

The hotel is very well located, right next to the lake and not far from Hanling village. We originally booked a garden view room but we were upgraded to a lake view. We had a terrace and the view was amazing!!! The compound is quite large and great for an evening stroll. The breakfast options were varied and the food was delicious. The restaurant staff were friendly and very attentive, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. The staff at reception were also great. Very friendly when we arrived and very helpful to get us a golf cart to get to and from our room to the restaurant building. The only small thing that could be improved in my opinion is the cleanliness in the room. I'm a bit of a clean freak so I noticed a few things that required attention: a small stain on the sofa, some stains on the toilet floor, and there was a small start of mpuld behind the sink taps. I would've also liked for the bins to have rubbish bags inside. Small things though, and overall we really enjoyed our stay, and we definitely return.

No service in this hotel especially during breakfast. Only when they ask your room number at the entrance some would talk to you, for the rest of your breakfast “experience “ you are all by yourself. Breakfast options not friendly for international travelers, very low food (and coffee) quality.

I checked in early in the morning which the hotel didnt have rooms yet, so receptionist Babbby served me very well, complimentary upgrade, complimentary breakfast and arranged to take my luggage to the room when ready while I was out, great service. The only thing is when I got to room 3009 as the corridor end room, , the electricity must have problems, lights could not turn on, the bathroom lights turned on but for 1 sec and turned off itself, I repeated and played around the switch a few times then gave up, so when i was just about to walk out with my luggage, it turns on, the curtain motor closed 2/3 and stopped untill i played around with the switch , suggest hotel to do maintenence for the room or stay away.

With professionalism and attention to detail, she introduced the hotel’s amenities and kindly recommended an upgrade to the Lakeside Suite—a decision that immersed us in a dreamlike Jiangnan experience far beyond our expectations. The Lakeside Suite framed Dongqian Lake like a living ink-wash painting. Each morning, we opened the floor-to-ceiling windows to mist-kissed waters resembling a classical scroll; by dusk, the lake shimmered in amber hues under the setting sun, dotted with distant sailboats. Inside, the suite masterfully balanced traditional Chinese aesthetics with contemporary comfort—exquisitely carved screens divided the tranquil living space, embroidered cushions complemented modern art pieces, and the freestanding bathtub by the window created the illusion of floating above the lake. The smart bedside control system, allowing us to adjust lighting and curtains with a touch, harmonized technology with timeless elegance. May’s service was nothing short of impeccable. Noticing our preference for quiet mornings, she proactively adjusted housekeeping schedules. When we expressed interest in local flavors, she not only recommended authentic Ningbo restaurants but also hand-drew a map of nearby attractions. These thoughtful, personalized touches transformed a routine stay into a heartfelt experience. At checkout, a carefully prepared gift and a handwritten note from May added the perfect sentimental farewell. Park Hyatt Ningbo redefines luxury through details—not in opulent extravagance, but in the artful fusion of cultural heritage, intuitive service, and refined design. Here, every corner whispers a Jiangnan tale, and every gesture carries genuine warmth. I know I can't expect much as this is a budget hostel, however I think the toilet should be cleaned more often. The toilet smells so bad. Other than the toilet, I think it's a good budget choice (and definitely not for the weak)
