The best 5stars hotel ever stayed Very professional hotel staffs and the cleanliness is tip top. They make up the room 3 times a day and each time we are back. It is sure back like home. Ms Aurora Gan is very friendly to walk us the hotel check in and check out. Will come back to stay again.

I will give this hotel 5 stars, but it is not a good experience and I’ll explain why. While the hotel is clean, well placed and the staff are nice, the place is too tiny and expensive, I was given a 6 square meter room, literally you cannot fit and put your luggage at the same, well of course with such extremely small rooms ( I wouldn’t even call it a room but a small prison room ) you will be sharing the bathroom and the showers with others. You can’t use hair dryer only from 8am-11pm. This place would make you feel like a student, but the problem is that it is expensive, so it will make you feel like a student who is paying for an extremely small expensive dormitory.

This was honestly one of the most memorable hotel stays we have ever experienced. We stayed at The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai, Pudong to celebrate my girlfriend’s 23rd birthday during our first trip to Shanghai together, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations from beginning to end. Before arrival, Assistant Guest Recognition Manager Yana Ivleva kindly communicated with us by email and thoughtfully helped arrange everything for the celebration. Her warmth, professionalism, and genuine care made us feel welcomed even before we arrived at the hotel. The room decoration, birthday cake, handwritten card, flowers, and beautiful Bund view created such a special atmosphere for us. Every detail felt thoughtful and heartfelt rather than simply formal hotel service. The hotel itself was also outstanding — the room condition, cleanliness, facilities, swimming pool, and especially the incredible night view of Shanghai were all amazing. Flair Rooftop Bar was also a wonderful experience for enjoying the skyline and atmosphere. What impressed us the most, however, was the hospitality. Yana and the staff truly made this stay unforgettable for us, and thanks to them, our first trip to Shanghai became a memory we will cherish for a very long time. We are sincerely grateful to The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai, Pudong and will absolutely look forward to returning again in the future.

This hotel is in the perfect location for visiting the exhibition center. It is literally right in front of you if you just walk there. There are many places to eat in the nearby shopping area, and a shopping mall is also close by, which makes it very convenient. For a five-star hotel, there are many guests, but the lobby is not very large, so it can feel quite crowded. In particular, the area in front of the entrance becomes very busy and complicated when taking a taxi or getting in and out of a car. The room size and condition were nothing special, just about average. I would recommend this hotel for exhibition visitors, but I would not recommend it for family travelers.

From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable. The staff were warm, attentive, and highly professional, consistently going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and seamless experience. Every interaction felt genuine and thoughtful, reflecting the highest standards of hospitality. The room was beautifully designed, spacious, and extremely well-maintained. The attention to detail was impressive—from the luxurious bedding to the advanced in-room technology, everything was carefully curated for both comfort and convenience. The hotel facilities were equally outstanding. The ambiance throughout the property is elegant and refined, and the location along the Bund offers stunning views and easy access to key attractions in Shanghai. Dining was also a highlight, with excellent service and high-quality food. The overall experience—from check-in to check-out—was smooth, relaxing, and memorable. This is a true five-star hotel that delivers on both luxury and service. I would highly recommend The Peninsula Shanghai and would definitely return on my next visit.

A great place to stay. The location is great. Highway directly from the airport. The room was clean and with fantastic view! We got a free upgrade for our rooms. Super friendly staffs. We really enjoyed our stay here. Thank you

The hotel is very clean and provided us with everything we needed . The staff are extremely helpful and the rooftop restaurant (Tales Shanghai) served amazing food and service . Will be staying again .

The hotel is beautiful, situated right on the bund. The breakfast is good and the beds are comfortable. My family and I were travelling through China for 4 weeks, and I booked this place for 4 nights, we usually like to stay in places where we can do laundry, here we had to use an outsourced business to get our laundry done as there are no laundry facilities close by and it would have cost us $500 aud to get our laundry done through the hotel. Just something to be mindful of if you are travelling with a family. However in saying that, the process of outsourcing was only made possible because of the assistance given by the hotel. I’m glad we booked it, the experience overall was great.

Sebaik sahaja anda memasuki W, terdapat haruman memori uniknya Apa yang anda lihat di hadapan anda adalah persembahan cita rasa pereka, dan apa yang anda dengar di telinga anda adalah lagu berirama, yang membuatkan orang berasa gembira dan santai. meninggalkan memori perjalanan yang tidak dapat dilupakan dan mendalam! Persekitaran sarapan pagi juga luar biasa, dengan pelbagai jenis makanan, yang sangat sesuai untuk mendaftar masuk dan mengambil gambar. Kaca partition di sebelah tab mandi boleh dilaraskan kepada mod kalis cahaya, yang memberikan rasa privasi Reka bentuk ini sangat bagus berbaring dan tidur sehingga subuh.

Hotel is 2 minutes walk away from the Shanghai railway station (you can literally see the station). Another a 5-7 minutes walk can take you to the 1, 12, and 13 metro line. A mall around the area, a line of shops near the neighborhood, downstairs is a convenient store, easy to find hotel, you can’t miss it. Pool is under construction during our stay but they have other amenities like a very small gym, free laundry (washer + dryer), spa, and handful of rooms for board games mainly featuring Mahjong, if you’re a fan you will love it. These amenities is downstairs in the basement which you have to exit the building and take a separate entrance for. I want to note that I did see a water bug in the living checking area and in the amenities room. That is something they can def fix. Otherwise really good location if you plan to use the railway station or don’t want to stay at the city center. Bathroom is separated into wet and dry. It have an option for overhead shower, fantastic water pressure. Door is not transparent, but it does not have a lock. Toilet have a bidet but I want to note that our toilet did have a faint but noticeable smell of urine, I’m not sure if it’s because the staff did not clean it well or its something else. There are no dirty spots and it’s visually clean. Overall for the price of the hotel it’s SO spacious, clean and just so worth it.
