Outstanding boutique hotel situated in the most beautiful spot by the Yulong River with breathtaking views in all four directions! We like how the style of the hotel reflects and complements the natural beauty of the area. There are abundant amenities and plenty of activities to pursue just around the property. It’s perfect for people who want to enjoy the beautiful pristine Shanshui of Guilin uninterrupted. We travelled with our extended family of 7 and everybody had a great time (especially our 2yo). The hotel is very kids friendly and the staff are wonderful. The swimming pool is immaculate and well equipped. We were also happily surprised by the quality of the food provided at the hotel. The ingredients were local and super fresh and the beer fish was very tasty. We ended up eating most of our lunches and dinners at the hotel. The room itself is gorgeous. We woke up everyday bathing in the morning sun with unobstructed views of the breathtaking Shanshui along the Yulong river! If you wake up early and go to the top floor, you will be rewarded with a special bonus! We are already looking forward to our next trip to Yangshuo and Xishi Jinshe!

We loved our stay at SOOOAN! The hotel is so relaxing and well designed. We had a beautiful room with lovely views of the mountains. The delicious breakfast, tea and late evening snack included in our stay made it feel very much like being at home. Yangshuo is beautiful and the hotel is well situated - close enough to take a quick taxi into town, but also easy to get to other sights and attractions in the area. We absolutely loved the bamboo raft cruise down the river which is a short walk from the hotel. The manager Linzi and concierge Xiaohua were both so helpful and attentive. Highly recommend a stay here if you’re going to Yangshuo!

May family and I spent a wonderful time in this hotel. The location is great for those who want to enjoy solitude but still be not too far from the village entertainment. The hotel is located in a secluded area but is still quite close to touristic sites. The hotel itself has everything you need - good cuisine with a bar. You can order your drinks right to a clean swimming pool and enjoy a peaceful time on a sling-chair. If you need anything else - the delivery works fine there, although requires a little bit longer than you might expect. The staff deserves a praise - they can speak English, they’re very friendly and helpful. As for the entertainments - you can find various brochures on the check in desk and the staff will help you book the trips. As for the transportation-there’s a small house near the hotel where you can rent e-bikes for a reasonable price. Laundry - you can leave it at the check in desk and it’ll be returned to you at 22:30 on the same day for some fees. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with the hotel and will recommend it to all my friends who’ll go there in the future.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff is incredibly friendly, and helpful with any inquiry or problem you might have. We were able to upgrade to a bigger room just for a small fee due to our anniversary, and the room was truly amazing. The noodles at breakfast were delicious and the additional services offered by the hotel including afternoon tea and late noodles as well as free shuttle services were also a great bonus, and cannot be taken for granted. I had the best night sleep here throughout our entire trip to China thus far :) the beds are very comfy and the environment was very calm. Additionally, I would highly recommend the professional photoshooting services offered in the hotel. You can receive three pictures for free but since we liked all the pictures so much we decided to purchase more. All in all it was wonderful and I hope we can come back again one day! Thanks to all staff at this hotel. ＜3

Room was well appointed and spacious. Kept rather clean too, but the air conditioning took extremely long to cool the room down, almost 7 hours to cool from 30 degrees to 26 degrees at full fan speed. Our room was facing the back street, it was very very noisy at night and noise from the street can be heard clearly. Hotel does provide earplugs. Free laundry and dryer available.

THANK YOU SO MUCH TO THE HOTEL STAFF, JACK!!! He should be the hotel manager!!! He is so sociable and always helped me and told me everything. Thanks to him, I have the best vacation and very delicious pasta!!) Wonderful hotel employee LUCY is simply charming, she immediately signed me up for a ride on bamboo rafts and did a fireworks display 🎆!!!! She told me everything about the history of the hotel and I bought the book!!!! I dream of building a hotel in Russia!!! And this trip was a great inspiration for me!!!!! This place is more like a resort than a hotel! There's so many amenities and have absolutely stunning views right outside of your window. The location of this hotel is closer to nature so you won't feel like you're in a touristy area at all but more like you're staying at a quit retreat in nature where you can enjoy the true beauty of Yangshuo. If you're someone who likes to take pictures, they have flower gardens full of butterflies and mountain top coffee shops that directly faces the mountains. Not to mention they also have a photography studio inside of their hotel who takes amazing photos. They also have infinity pools that hotsprings that overlooks the mountains that are available to guests all day. The breakfast they offer is fantastic as well. I didn't even need to leave the hotel to taste authentic yangshuo specialties. They got them all within the hotel. I suggest staying here at least 3+ days. My stay was too short!

This is a wonderful family run guesthouse, where you can enjoy peace away from the hustle of Xingping Old Town. Differently from other types of accommodation we have seen in Dahe Bei village, this guesthouse is a hidden gem with charme and character. The food was excellent and abundant, freshly cooked by the owner herself. The owner picked us up from the Dahe Bei ferry dock, organised an electric moped rental in Dahe Bei (we didn't see many on that side of the river) and gave us plenty of tips and suggestions for where to go and what to do around there, including a sunrise hike to a nearby mountain that you can reach directly from the guesthouse - if you're into hiking (it's a 1h walk uphill through pomelo and orange orchards, followed by a series of staircases), it's a great spot, as we found only a few photographers when we got up there. The ginger cat and the house dog are cute and extremely friendly, adding to the overall wonderful atmosphere. Our room was spacious and clean, with plenty of hot water for showers after a day of hiking or driving around to see the surroundings. If we were to travel again in this area, we would definitely go back. Highly recommended!

The hotel itself was beautiful! I found it a little challenging to find the location, but once I did, I came to appreciate that it was hidden away from the business and noise of West Street, while still being conveniently close. You have to wander through some alleyways, which I was suspicious of as a solo female traveler, but I quickly grew to like it because it is quieter and tucked away. Unfortunately, I did find that the room wasn't totally clean. There was hair, dirt, and dust on the floor that was not my own as well as a false eyelash stuck to the bed frame. I was grateful that it was a non-smoking room and aside from the cleanliness aspect, I greatly enjoyed my stay. The views from the rooms and the roof we're awesome!

I stayed for 2 nights and felt comfortable n relaxing. The room n bathroom were spotless clean. The balcony is a good place to have coffee early in the morning with the view of mountains n the river just in front. A stone throw is the busy west road where it is very convenient to find foods or do shopping. It is affordable for long stay as the cost is reasonable. Have a nice stay.
