Cari Hotel 2-Star di Yangshuo

Chuxin Homestay felt more like staying with thoughtful hosts than at a typical Yangshuo lodging. The room was quiet, spacious, and well kept, and the bed was comfortable enough to rest well after long days out. Getting around was easy with scooter rentals close by and simple food options nearby. What really made the stay smooth was the owner’s guidance — she helped map out our days realistically, steered us toward fairly priced experiences, and discouraged activities that weren’t worth the money. We arrived late on our first night and were still warmly welcomed, which immediately set the tone for the stay. Communication was always clear and timely, and the place felt safe and well managed. A small but memorable detail was Fa Cai, the calm and friendly house dog. If you prefer an honest stay without tourist traps, this homestay is a solid choice.

A very nice little hotel very close to the river and the city center. The hotel manager didn't talk english but we talked via WeChat and everything went smoothly, he recomended us some trips to do in the Yangshuo area and restaurants to eat. Very recomendable. The rooms were big, clean, confortable and have AC. Totally recommended. And has a mirror floor on the attic for everybody to take pictures! I almost forgot, there is a washing machine!

This is a wonderful family run guesthouse, where you can enjoy peace away from the hustle of Xingping Old Town. Differently from other types of accommodation we have seen in Dahe Bei village, this guesthouse is a hidden gem with charme and character. The food was excellent and abundant, freshly cooked by the owner herself. The owner picked us up from the Dahe Bei ferry dock, organised an electric moped rental in Dahe Bei (we didn't see many on that side of the river) and gave us plenty of tips and suggestions for where to go and what to do around there, including a sunrise hike to a nearby mountain that you can reach directly from the guesthouse - if you're into hiking (it's a 1h walk uphill through pomelo and orange orchards, followed by a series of staircases), it's a great spot, as we found only a few photographers when we got up there. The ginger cat and the house dog are cute and extremely friendly, adding to the overall wonderful atmosphere. Our room was spacious and clean, with plenty of hot water for showers after a day of hiking or driving around to see the surroundings. If we were to travel again in this area, we would definitely go back. Highly recommended!

This guest house left me with mixed feelings. Let's start with the good things. The location is super convenient: right in the old town and yet in a relatively quiet area. It's close to the river so you can take a refreshing night stroll, and close to a delicious bakery/café you'll never forget. The atmosphere of the guest house is rustic and cozy, with a laundry room that, despite its very limited space, serves the purpose. There are also cats and a dog you can freely play with. The bed was comfortable for us (a bit on the harder side). The owners speak English so you can easily communicate with them. They are very kind and helpful. However, a few things about this stay got me extremely disappointed, particularly taking into consideration the positive reviews I had read (which honestly I don't understand where they came from). The room was far from clean. There was a very visible layer of dust. The cushion seats had huge stains and looked dirty overall. The shower room did not get cleaned very regularly, as you can see from the picture. In general everything in the property looked outdated and cheap (wobbly sink taps, doors with huge gaps, that give way to all sorts of bugs and giant spiders..). The fact that the toilet is next to the shower room leaves no room for privacy and makes the toilet floor wet most of the time (this could be solved with a proper shower door instead of a curtain). In conclusion, I was more than happy to leave the property because it did not meet my standards for comfort and hygiene. However, if you don't particularly care about a certain degree of dirt and dust here and there, and are cool with bugs, then you should definitely go for it as you might really like the retro atmosphere of the place.

這次去桂林主要想去灕江徒步，鄰景民宿的位置離興坪碼頭和20元人民幣打卡地都不遠。位於小河背村，在一座山腳下，店家在山腳下養雞，種水果，和客人們熱情分享自家種的水果。水果新鮮甜蜜，近兩年桂林很熱，4月中旬就30多度。店家熱情爽朗，樂於助人，讓人感覺就像回家一樣。期待以後有空重逢。房間和圖片一樣，因為我已離開桂林，之前忘記拍照，所以沒法放圖片。值得一提的是，我當時拉窗簾時，不小心把桌上的插花小瓷瓶打碎了，我告知了老闆娘的媽媽，提出賠償。但阿姨很快就拿來一個新的，説不用賠，這是小事。深切地感受到她們的慷慨淳樸，想把最好的東西呈現分享給客人。一家人都在為來陽朔的旅行者提供服務，爺爺穿着傳統服裝留着鬍子，在河邊有竹筏和鸕鶿。

必須好好誇誇這家店！老闆是個年輕老闆。店裡養了衹好乖好可愛小貓，休息的時候擼貓特別爽。全屋衞生做得很到位，各個角落都收拾得清爽。比我想象中的要好好多，好太多了。 到的第一天晚上躺床上想看劇，發現沒有視頻會員，老闆立馬開了SVIP。服務超級好。 最暖心的是我吹空調着涼，一直流鼻涕，第二天要趕高鐵下樓，問有沒有紙巾，我抽了幾張桌子上的。正打算出門找便利店，老闆看我不停擦鼻子，主動拿了一包紙巾送給我。細節感滿滿，服務一點不敷衍，出來旅遊住這裏真的很舒心，強烈推薦！

Superb counter staff. Very welcoming and greetings each time we passed by the counter. Readily extended their assistance to help with the luggage to the room. Also readily assisted elderly guests up the steps without being requested. A great gesture by the check in staff upgrading one of our rooms so that both our rooms are facing the pedestrian street and with balcony. I enjoyed sitting at the balcony watching passers by while sipping coffee. The rooms are big and clean. The rooms facing the pedestrian street can be noisy with the music from the restaurants but once the balcony door is shut, the noise level drops to almost zero. Highly recommended

Super nice place to stay. The lady at the reception who we also think was the owner, was super friendly and professional. She was also speaking in English, which was super nice, as we did not have to use any translation apps like in other hotels. The room was clean and nice, with a balcony. We loved the balcony, as we were sitting during the night and enjoying the sound of nature. The hotel also offers food at the restaurant at the rooftop with a nice view. The location is amazing with people selling things under your balcony, close to the shops and restaurants from one side, whilst also close to the river and all the attractions on the other. Also, this is the exact location where you can go up to Laozhai mountain for the breathtaking view, the hiking route literally starts less than a minute away from the hotel. (P.S. please make sure you understand that the way up the mountain is very steep, with no build steps/stair, we literally climb up rocks - do not go when its dark). Thank you to the hotel for the amazing stay.

GREAT experience. Such a nice and helpful staff, we had a warm welcome and they were very keen on helping us during our journey in Yangshuo. The location is right in West Street and close by the river, with amazing views. The room was very confortable and clean, had AC. I definitely recommend! --- Super expérience. This hotel was the best one I stayed in China and it was also the cheapest one. The room looked even better than on the pictures, it was very spacious with a large and comfortable bed, a couch and many amenities. The room was modern, clean and well-maintained. The location is perfect, literally in the middle of the busiest street with hundreds of shops, restaurants, bars, attractions, etc. within a 2-minute walk. Despite the central location, the room was quiet and I didn’t hear any noise from the busy street so I could get a good nights sleep. The receptionists were also friendly, check-in was much faster than at other hotels and they even let me store my luggage there for free after I checked out. Overall highly recommended!
