"Extremely central, everything is within walking distance including the light rail from the airport. Clean functional room with fridge and very comfy bed. Excellent breakfast, self service with a huge choice, very tasty. All the reception staff were friendly and informative, I wish I could have stayed longer."

Excellent location. 3-5min walk to tram #1 that takes you to the airport for an affordable price. Walk behind towards harbour, you will see Bryygen & fish market, all within 5-10min walk. After fish market is the 5hr ferry to flam, Norled. Train station is 15-20min walk beyond the fpuntain/pond.
Room is spacious enough for a family of 3 or 4, as the sofa can sleep 2. The dish washer was not cleaned out & the dishes were left quite dirty from previous guests. I did a clean up of the kitchenette & sanitised the room myself. The next guest will be pleased. They did clear the garbage daily & reception was very helpful. Washing machine was not functioning well but you can still wash. Took abt two rounds, and it's free, just buy the laundry pods from reception.
A small supermarket Rema1000 is nearby and there were plenty of food choices around, incl mcdonalds.
All in all, we were pleased with the lodging.

Cute little hotel in close proximity to the fisherman’s market and about 8 minute walk to Bryggen. Was easy to get to with the airport bus (about 3 minutes from the stop)
I was a bit worried about the lack of air conditioning as the weather was quite hot while staying, but it wasn’t a problem. I kept the dial continuously at -5, not sure if that really did anything.
Friendly and helpful people working behind the desk at check in and out.
Breakfast was a wide assortment of local and western foods. Liked the assortment. There didn’t really seem to be a worker whose job it was to clear tables as that process was slow. But there was space upstairs to eat.
Room was very clean with big windows, but can’t see out them as they are stained. Bed was a bit soft for my liking, like really soft and the shower leaked out onto the floor, but I think it’s reasonable considering the other positives and the price point of the hotel.
Would definitely consider staying here again if ever in Bergen.

Sound proofing of the rooms are real bad. If you are to leave the windows open for ventilation as there is no air condition unit, you will not be able to have a restful night as those rooms facing the street can hear the noise of the people talking and laughing, vehicles noise, garbage truck till very late into the night and early in the morning. Even if you are to close the windows and bear with the poor ventilated room, you can still hear the noises from the street.
Otherwise a decent hotel in a good location. Service is lukewarm and just average.

The location was quite good, with easy walking access to the main sightseeing area of the city. The room was not very spacious, and there wasn’t enough space to fully open a large suitcase. The bed was also a bit too soft for my preference.
What surprised me most was when I asked to borrow a bottle opener for some beer I had bought myself. The reception did lend me one, but mentioned that they normally do not because the hotel sells alcohol on-site. I had never experienced this kind of policy before, especially since most hotels also sell alcohol, often at higher prices, and many even provide bottle openers in the room. Guests should not feel restricted to consuming only what is sold by the hotel.

Swanky decor. Beautiful view from the sea view room. Clean and spacious room, comfy bed, decent breakfast options, can't complain. Only that room didn't have a minibar or fridge or coffee maker. I guess I should have read up on amenities more carefully. But staff are excellent and more than happy to provide you with tea or coffee or a snack on request, or you can help yourself to tea or coffee from a big flask they keep in the lobby. You also get a lovely welcome cocktail on the house.

Ia adalah di luar jangkaan saya bahawa terdapat air panas, teh dan kopi disediakan di meja depan, yang sangat menyentuh hati. Bilik itu menghadap ke dalam, jadi jika anda tidak melabuhkan langsir dengan baik, orang akan melihat anda. Dan tingkap tidak boleh dibuka, yang agak tersumbat. Adalah disyorkan untuk berhati-hati apabila memilih bilik. Lokasinya baik, kecuali ia agak jauh dari stesen kereta api. Agak malu nak heret luggage ke hotel dalam hujan hari tu.

They got me the highest floor which is great, and special type room, love it!
Most of the things u need are provided except slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste.
I think most rooms can see the pier view.
The first night, some birds, maybe, or someone shooting fireworks at my window making loud noises and I can see some flash lights out the window. Scared die me.
Food: free breakfast and dinner.
Breakfast was great, dinner ok but love breakfast more.
Trip.com says the bottle water are free, but in fact they will be charged. I didn’t notice that and took one, before check out, just saw the pricing list(ｰ ｰ;)
Location: a bit tricky to find the ENTRANCE! When u see the building, TUR RIGHT! To the right u can find the real entrance( the front one is no longer in use).
very convenient, located at the heart of Bergen, the Bergen museum is next to the hotel. The fifth photo is very close to the hotel. A few minutes walk to the mountain tram station.
By the way, u can ask the front desk and get the key for accessing the roof top( third and fourth photo)

For a tourist without car, it is in excellent location, 7 minutes to railway station to/from airport on foot with luggage n railway ticket just cost nok44 , walking distance to cable station to Floyen mount or Bergenhus or Ferry pier and shops. I reserved a small room but got a room of good size with windows and sofa. There are supporting staff in reception always and they can help me for my enquiries. They can provide electrical kettle at request. Coffee is free in lobby. Breakfast is also good , simple with good choices. I will reserve it if I will visit Bergen again.
