Location is unbeatable: just a 3‑minute walk to Plaza de Armas, perfect for exploring the city on foot.
Rooms are comfortable and clean, with a cosy bed and a heater available at all times. No TV in my room but honestly, with everything nearby, you won’t miss it 😄
Extremely helpful staff, genuinely some of the most supportive I’ve ever encountered. They were incredibly accommodating and even helped me multiple times late at night when Rappi wasn’t working and I needed to order food.
If you have early tours (4:00, 5:00, 6:00 AM), just let them know in advance — they’ll happily prepare your breakfast earlier for you, which I really appreciated.
They also decorated our room exactly as requested, which made our stay even more special.

Without exaggeration, Belmond Monasterio is the best hotel in Cusco. Even after trying two other higher-priced Belmond properties and the JW Marriott, I still firmly believe this is the ultimate choice.
The beauty of this hotel is beyond words. The elegant public spaces and tranquil gardens create an atmosphere of timeless serenity. The classic, historic walls whisper stories of the past, while the dazzling golden chapel adds a breathtaking sense of grandeur. Every detail is a masterpiece.
Yet, what truly sets Belmond Monasterio apart is its service. The staff are warm, professional, and genuinely caring. Their service attitude is impeccable—perhaps the best in South America. A prime example: when I lost my credit card, they found it and returned it promptly. Compared to the Los Cabos Waldorf (which I mention due to its premium pricing), this hotel’s service is on another level—infinitely more personal, thoughtful, and heartfelt.
I would love to give special recognition to my butler, though unfortunately, I have forgotten his name.
In short, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Endless love for Belmond Monasterio.

房間也整潔乾淨 但房間裏沒有排氣扇 衛生間的味道很難散掉 特別是沒有窗戶的封閉房間 幾乎散不掉
服務就很難說了 訂了帶窗帶陽台的高級房 check in時說房間沒了 給我升級的房間 結果“升級”的房間是一個沒有窗戶的全密閉的房間！我不同意 但酒店說沒房了 “討論”結果 是給我免費晚餐 我沒有選擇衹能接受…

PPengguna Tetamu居住的房間整潔舒適，前台服務人員有求必應。餐廳服務人員熱情周到，特別是那位戴頭巾的男士，熱情地為每位客人推薦他做的雞蛋餅，裏面又有菜又有調味特好吃。還用小本做記錄，問你什麼時候去馬丘比丘，早上幾點出發。餐廳七點開門供餐，如果來不及吃早餐，就可以在早上離店前帶一份早餐出發，特別細心又熱情。這個酒店位置相當好，離火車站步行衹需五分鐘，所以去馬丘比丘早走晚歸都方便，因為太早太晚庫斯科是沒有火車的，需先乘巴士去歐燕台換乘火車。火車站對面一個特大的市場，吃飯、購物、買各種旅遊紀念品，通通一站式解決。而且離武器廣場也不遠，步行二十分鐘即可到達。

PPengguna TetamuOverall the hotel was good, service was good, laundry services excellent. 2 issues:
1) location: the front is not a street but a walking lane, so taxis and tour transportation cannot come to front door. This alleyway also has many clubs so the noise and foot traffic is all night long.
2 Breakfast was included , however if you want a second omelette they wanted you to pay for it. Free breakfast means free, any other buffet restaurant you can take as many eggs as you wish.
Overall I would stay there again,

PPengguna Tanpa NamaThe hotel is fine, the staff and service were good for an old building it was clean and had hot water and working Internet while the food was good too. The issue is the location, which seems convenient, but it is a LOUD area and the noise all gets into the room all day and night making sleep problematic even if you use earplugs and headphones. So just be aware it’s an old building with no insulation and loud, but if you can handle that it’s not a bad hotel overall.

KK TravelsLet me start with the positives, stylish design, exactly like the pics advertised, from entering the hotel to the resting area to the balcony to the room, all very nice.
But you need to be ready for the stairs if you not getting here by car, going out and coming back from the square, especially if you have luggage or backpack, everyone arriving here were out of breath.
The bathroom has odor coming up from the pipe, which is normal for house this old, if you are okay with it.
I was in room 201, sound proof does not exist, can hear car passing, dog barking, guests coming back from partying at night, tourists cheering & leaving hotel for trips at 3:30am, didn’t get much sleep.
Most disappointing thing was hot water, I arrived in the afternoon climbing up the stairs, was hoping to have a quick shower before heading out for dinner, stood in the bathroom waited 5mins for hot water, was told be staff hot water was out they are trying to fix, came back after drinks, still no hot water, was very late so didn’t call staff, tried to have a shower before check out at 7am, hot water was still not available after another good 5mins standing in the shower… sigh
