Fisa Rentals Gran Via Apartments

TLDR: The people who rent out the apar**ent evicted 5 young girls mid-stay with a weak excuse and then failed to refund the deposit despite promising to do so in writing. I hardly ever write bad reviews about service providers, but I have to recollect the experience with Fisa Rentals in Barcelona. I booked the apar**ent for my daughter and four friends who went on vacation in Barcelona (all honor students). On the second day of the stay I got a phone call from the operator claiming the girls were making too much noise at night. I immediately had a talk with all the girls who were not aware of the "quiet hours" and promised to keep the quiet. The next day at 4pm I received a call from the apar**ent that the girls were noisy at night requesting they evict the apar**ent within the next 3 hours. From a discussion with the girls they said they were very careful to keep the quiet. Did not put on music in the apar**ent and did not talk loudly. The only thing they did was leave the apar**ent at night to go out. Apparently their next door neighbor was very aggressive with them from the first night. They wouldn't agree to even allow them to stay until the next morning to give me some time to find an alternative apar**ent. The owner guaranteed refund of the unused nights and of the security deposit. Having not been there I decided to be respectful of the owner's request and found the girls an alternative apar**ent at twice the cost on a moments notice. The apar**ent was returned in perfect condition (confirmed by the owner). A week later I was notified they decided to keep the security deposit. From the reaction of my daughter who was extremely adamant I 'fight' for those 200 Euro I glean that they truly were not noisy and it was their neighbor who bullied them (she is a timid girl and doesn't tend to get into conflicts). So, if you decide to book with them just take under advisement that they are 'easy' in taking liberties that are not within the purview of the contract and have no problem not returning the deposit.

We booked 29/3/23-2/4/23. It was a very comfortable and lovely place to stay. However, what was not acceptable was that for a flat with 2 room for 4, we were only provided with 3toilet rolls, 2 miserable bottles of very thin body soap n shampoo. We booked for 4 nights. If you were an owner of this business, would you only provide one dishwashing detergent and laundry detergent for 1time when your customer is staying for 5days? I really can’t believe it. An there was a Tripadvisor sticker even on the entrance of the flat we stayed in which I was so pleased when we arrived on the first day. I really hope that those who would like to book would consider these and ask them specifically before you proceed.

The apar**ent itself was basically fine. Good central location, the beds are comfortable, and the electronic shutters help keep out the noise from the road, so no complaints there. The staff in the office round the corner where you collect the key were lovely. However, the all-pervading pong from the bathroom as soon as we opened the door was dreadful. It seemed to come mainly from the shower and the toilet. We put up with it the first night, but messaged the management via *********** the next morning and they responded quickly and said they’d send the cleaning team in. I guess they did? But there was absolutely no difference to the rank, all-pervading pong of smelly drains later that day. By the third day, we'd had enough as we could now smell the drains throughout the apar**ent and so we phoned the emergency help number by the door and asked to be moved. To be fair, the management team agreed immediately, and we then had to pack up and move about 15 minutes' walk away. The second apar**ent was very similar - though it had two bathrooms instead of one. The bathroom off the main bedroom was fine - no smell! However, we had to shut the door on the small bathroom which would have been used by our daughter as it also reeked of blocked drains. It is because of this that I have had to rate the property overall as poor. Surely the problem would have been instantly obvious to anyone renting/cleaning the apar**ent in advance of our stay - and yet it was still rented out to us.

Llame antes de reservar un apartamento para estar en el mismo donde ya había estado me dijeron que no había problema pagué en septiembre y a fecha de hoy habiendo una cobrado el dinero no saben en qué apartamento estaré y no me pueden enviar fotos para enviar a mis clientes.

Estuvimos varios días en el apartamento de Gran Vía, frente al hotel Palace. Muy confortable, muy bien ubicado, atención perfecta al llegar y salir, equipado con todo lo necesario, amplio, con espacios para guardar el equipaje y poner la ropa a secar. Esperamos volver.
