Kriss Internazionale Hotel

Great little hotel. Very near to Bardelino where you can catch a ferry to elsewhere on Lake Garda. The hotel is also 5 minutes walk from a supermarket. The little beach is perfect and we enjoyed sipping our drinks on the beachfront and jetty. Breakfast was very nice. The staff are super-helpful; we had to sort out a wheelchair at short notice and it was sorted for us the next day. The only minuses are the lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room and the early closing of the rooftop area. It would have been nice to have a glass of wine up there whilst looking out over the lake. But these are minor quibbles, I would definitely come back to this hotel again.

We stayed in the Glam apartments next to Kriss hotel, we had 2 apartments next to each other sleeping 9 adults in total. The hotel reception staff were very helpful with any queries we had and communication was good prior to our arrival. The Location is fantastic just a 2 minute walk from the Lake Garda Apartments were very clean and comfortable and had a small balcony with a table and chairs. There is a small kitchen with cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and kettle. We ate out in the evenings and there are lots of lovely restaurants to choose from. The Eurospar supermarket is a 5min walk and has everything you could need. We thoroughly enjoyed our family holiday in Bardolino and would love to return..highly recommend.

The hotel is not all bad, but there are definitely areas to improve on. The good things are…, Location as is lakeside & just a 10min or so walk into the town centre. Breakfast is brilliant with fantastic choices & lovely staff. The breakfast staff are so very friendly & the food is delicious. There are sun beds by the lakeside (however this whole area could do with a bit of an upgrade) Rooms (we had a deluxe) Well in all honesty not that deluxe to us, especially considering what we paid. Yes clean & tidy but so very plain. No homely touches to the room & great big area with no furnishings, perhaps an armchair for relaxing or small occasional table. The balcony has lake views, which is obviously lovely, but sadly every balcony is overlooked by neighbours balcony (so no privacy) and if someone is smoking on they’re balcony then you end up going inside due to smoke fumes !!! The website makes the hotel look very slick & glamorous. However, all the whole hotel (exterior & interior) needs a good upgrade & modernisation. Would not choose to stay here again & would not recommend.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in October 2023. Upon check-in everything went smoothly although the gym opening times were different to what we had been told before arrival via email. The rooms are basic but nice and clean. The view is absolutely gorgeous and the direct access to the lake is a very big bonus point. Breakfast was the highlight of our stay as it offers a lot of variety and everything is fresh. A big THANK YOU to the lady who prepared our eggs. She was simply amazing. The reason this review is so badly rated is that the hotel stole my night gown and now claims it is unfindable. On our last day, the cleaning lady came into the room without knocking. I just got out of the shower and told her she should come back later. Once I returned to the room in the evening, my night gown was gone. I had placed it on the bed and it was nowhere to be found in the room. I alerted reception and simply got told that the gentleman couldn’t help me and I should ask tomorrow morning when his colleague was there. The next morning we left the hotel early morning and of course, no one was available to look for the night gown. After we left, I emailed the hotel and got told straight away that nothing was found. I wonder how they could check and reply within minutes. I sent another email to please check again. No answer came. Only once I had completed their review online and gave them my rating did I receive an email stating that they had not found anything. Additionally, upon check-out, they forgot to charge us the tourism tax. So once the actual reception lady, not her incompetent Night Shift, had to run after our car to settle that bill. Not very professional at all! It is a nice hotel but if you want to ensure you keep your things, I would not recommend staying here again.

Arriving late and tired after flight delays … the two lads night receptionist were ready to assist. They were kind and courteous .. the hotel is right on the lake front and has a fantastic breakfast area great waitress service and a great breakfast we had a most enjoyable time here it’s small friendly and just perfect . Ps I travel a LOT and I found this hotel to be very relaxing and in a great location

The Kriss is ideally situated for visiting Bardilino All the staff are very helpful, the room we had was the junior suite with a side balcony with great views. The room was excellent and even had a new modern style sauna and has a whirlpool tub on the 4th floor which was free to use.
