Hotel 3 Bintang di Basel

This hotel is within walking distance from the SBB train station, staff at the hotel are very friendly and speak very good English. I was very grateful for the early check in without any quibble with the receptionist, and she explained how we can get around. Room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast had a good choice of hot and cold foods, with variations every day. I would definitely stay here again. The only discomfort with our room was the temperature in our room was set to 19C, which was comfortable during the day, but was a bit too hot for the night for us, and we couldn’t lower the temperature down.

Moin Folks, schon mal gestartet ohne zu wissen wo man nächtigt????? Soweit einem die Räder und der Saft tragen, fahren, nun bis hierher von Hamburg 14 Uhr bis 20:15 Uhr geschafft und das letzte Zimmer erhalten. Alles gut, der Empfang sehr freundlich und schnell, das letzt Zimmer im ersten Stock und gut, etwas klein, aber sehr praktisch und auch sehr gut isoliert, keine Nebengeräusche und eine sehr ruhige Nacht verbracht. Das Frühstücksbuffet vollkommen gut, hier war ich sehr zufrieden. Ach, Garage empfehle ich sehr, da die Parkplätze rund ums Hotel nicht gerade zahlreich vorhanden sind. Viel Spaß 😊

Stayed here over the weekend while visiting someone. The hotel is very nice and the staff were all very friendly and helpful - couldn't ask for better. The breakfast was an extra charge and was very nice - I'd recommend it. Our room was 119 and looked out onto the side street opposite a church. It was very quiet except that at 6pm the church bells would sound for 10 minutes - which was a surprise to start with, so just be prepared for this. We found the hotel ideally situated for exploring the city. Also, there is free self service coffee available until 9pm.

LOVELY hotel But RACIST restaurant staff !! Not recommended restaurant!! Excellent HOTEL staff, really good rooms and amazing service. The breakfast is really amazing too. Rooms were really clean. The tram stop is just few metre walk and the location is perfect. BUT, I wont recommend the attached restaurant at all !! ------ RACIST RESTAURANT STAFF !! Date-14.05.2023, Time-19:24 First, the restaurant staff asks if we have reservation or not. After we said ‘No’, he made us sit at a corner of the restaurant, which really dusty and like a storage corner for the restaurant stuff like menus, cutlery etc etc. We were sitting separate from the “white-skinned” guests. After us, when other guests with NO reservation arrived, they were made to sit with other “white” customers. Now, coming to the food. We ordered 3 Risotto Milanese. The rice was so hard and not at all cooked. We even couldn’t finish 2/3rd of the food. I want to ask the “Cook” if he knows how to boil the rice. Show a YouTube tutorial video of boiling rice to a 15 year old kid and I am sure that he can cook better after watching the tutorial. We complained to the restaurant staff. He apologized with his fake smile and got us the bill and asked to pay. Total bill: CHF 86.10 A complete Sh*t racist experience for me and my parents with worst food in Switzerland. It was my first time experience of Risotto for my parents and they decided to never try Risotto again ever. After getting out of restaurant, we went to bakery to buy some bread for dinner.

Although it is 3star hotel it provides slippers and bathrobes, mini bar is free, iron is provided in an ironing room. Breakfast has good options, incl gluten free bagels and decaf coffee. Staff is extraordinary friendly and helpful. Garage is small so recommend to reserve a spot in advance, it has one spot for electric vehicle. There seems to be electric bikes for hire, but I did not inquire about it. I had a very nice stay and would recommend it. Rooms have ventilators, no air conditioning. Only minor minis is noise from the street, I had a room towards the street, which was nice & the street is not too busy but still you can hear traffic with open window. I personally prefer very hard mattress, the hotel has medium soft/ hard mattress so it was not perfect for me, but I had ok sleep for 3 nights and no back pain.

Super friendly Team and the Studio was very spacious and even offered a kitchen equipped with everything you need for a short stay. The bed was very nice and allowed a restful sleep after a long day. Can recommend it and would book it again

Stayed for a Night with BA Holidays for a Night with the excellent Breakfast included. Forget getting a Taxi or Transfer just hop on the 50 Bus at the Airport for a free 5 Minute journey to a stop within spitting distance of the Hotel. The same Bus carries on into Basel Centre. The Hotel has it's own service but that had finished by the time I landed. Your Hotel Reservation is your ticket for free public transport until it is supplanted by the Basel Card issued by the Hotel on Check In. This card valid for the duration of your stay also provides substantial discounts on various attractions Room was modern, a good size and excellent shower. The Breakfast (Light from 4.30am) Buffet from 0600-1000 had a wonderful selection of hot and cold items catering for a diversity of tastes. One of the drawbacks- although the room had a kettle there were no tea or coffee supplies or fridge. Overall a wonderful mid-range establishment with easy access to the Airport and City Centre.

Tolle Zimmer und gute Möglichkeit als Überbrückung bei Wohnungssuche, war zwei Monate da. Aber es muss einem bewusst sein, dass dies ein Partyplace ist und die Zimmer im EG bekommen den Lärm voll ab und das Personal kümmert es nicht (nur bei einer Party an einem Samtag wurde mir nach 22 Uhr ein Zimmer in den oberen Etagen angeboten und das nachdem den ganzen Nachmittag lang Konzerte im EG stattfanden, die anderen Wochenenden musste man selber schauen). Deshalb versucht ein Zimmer in den oberen Etagen zu bekommen, dann gibt es vielleicht auch ein zu öffnendes Fenster.
