The indigo hotel is very good. Good location just in town center. Good breakfast with lots of choice and good food. Staff are friendly. Room is big and grand. Will come again and recommend friends to stay there in Bath.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Nath and had an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and attentive, ensuring a smooth check-in process. The hotel’s decor is modern yet cozy, creating a relaxing atmosphere throughout.
The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and well-appointed with all the necessary amenities. The bed was extremely comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. I appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as complimentary bottled water and a variety of toiletries.

At first check-in, staff said my booking’s payment was failed, I showed my booking confirmation with clearly stated payment successful, then he printed a confirmation for me to sign but I found that’s another one’s booking… totally another name…
The 2nd print out was just showing my name without another personal information and I was told it’s okay to sign…
Once I entered my room, there’s no bath tub, I called the concierge and claimed that when I booked this room type, photo clearly showed there’s bath tub and that’s why I chose this more expensive room type, staff just told me only Superior King room type offered bath tub…
When I tried to take a shower, there’s no shower gel & face tissue in the toilet… what a big surprise that a so called 4 stars hotel could provide such service standard…
I would definitely NOT recommend this hotel to anyone going to BATH for a visit…
And what’s more, this is my Birthday trip with more than 3 hrs drive from the North, they really gave me a BIG surprise!!

The hotel is nice and convenient while the staff are all very nice.
Only one of the lift is broken during our stay which cause certain inconvenience.
Anyway, it is a good choice for family trip, the family suit is big enough for 4 people and very comfortable.

Sumptuous would be the word to describe this hotel. From the lobby to the room to the free snacks pantry, everything is sumptuous. The room we booked is absolutely huge with high ceilings and large windows. The bed and bedding is super super comfortable and we slept really well. The bathroom is nice with a big tub. Location is also excellent, minutes from downtown, the bridge and Roman baths. Looking forward to staying here again.

Its meant to be a luxury-ish short weekend getaways before my job starts as my partner can't take a long leave.
The delux double room is a huge disappointmemt.Understably, it is a very premium location and other guest probably pay a lot more. However, I wouldn't think of paying over £300 to get a room feeling like a old day servant's room. Being placed at the roof extension room with the view mostly blocked, the floor makes the typical old wooden cracking noise as we walk. The curtain, carpet and bathroom are not in the best condition. The glass on top of the table and desk are not well fitted.
Another thing is that, without any previous notice, the spa closed foe maintenance the morning we leave. The fake plants make it look less luxury than its branded.
The plus side, it is kind of inclusive which the spa pool, gym and breakfast are included. The breakfast is quite nice if you like English breakfast or they have some basic buffet.

I found the hotel very comfortable and friendly. The bedroom was clean, spacious and tidy as was the shower and toilet area. The staff were all smartly dressed and very friendly. Breakfast was excellent, with a good choice of cereals plus a cooked breakfast but I was not keen on the sausages. Car parking was easy as a disabled driver I appreciated that. However on arrival all disabled parking taken but only one car had a disabled card in the window, this needs to be monitored. Not keen on having to pay extra for parking on top of accommodation charge, but that's a NCP charge. The location is not very close to Bath city centre but on a good bus route. Bath city does not encourage cars in the city centre but I did find a good disabled free of charge parking space. However the hotel was well worth the accommodation cost, compared with other hotels in Bath. Would I use this hotel again, yes I would but I will look at others, like most people I do need to keep an eye open for value for money.

We booked directly, in January, with the hotel taking up an offer for our March stay. This is a 5 star hotel and we upgraded our room a few days before arrival. The room was lovely with a comfortable 4 poster bed and all facilities as expected. Breakfast was not as we had expected for a 5 star hotel. We had to choose a time to eat, did the earlier people have all the yoghurt? By the time (8.45) we arrived we were scraping the bottom of the deep jar and our cooked breakfast was a meagre portion. The potato cake was very thin, like cardboard, a single thin rasher of bacon and a slice of mushroom. Thank goodness I asked for a grilled tomato! We had to ask for toast that 1st morning. The coffee pot was barely enough for one, we had to ask for more! We had booked to eat in the Vellore Restaurant for my birthday but decided to cancel this, as seemed expensive and breakfast had put us off! So we chose to eat from the bar menu instead, taking the meal in the lounge. Unfortunately the room was pretty cold, we heard other guests complaining about this. Guests can ask for fresh milk to go with the complimentary tea and coffee, but be aware a tiny jug of milk is £6. However the staff were friendly and extremely helpful and the hotel is well situated for the town.

AAdesolaBathen House is simply phenomenal from the mixture of old and modern aesthetic that screams class, elegance and luxury to the squeaky clean, serene environment and the oh so polite staff that were always available to help and make your stay as comfortable as possible. It was such a remarkable experience and I would definitely go back again. I absolutely loved my stay at Bathen House and I swill always recommend. It was the best Easter Holiday and Experience.

PPengguna TetamuIt was an amazing experience. The hotel was clean and the staff was phenomenal. The only thing was that the main guy at the front desk was not welcoming after many encounters. The breakfast was great too and the bed was extremely comfortable. Do be aware that late checkouts after 12PM will be a charge of 15£, which is not ideal for some travelers. Overall a great stay and an amazing location.

JJonesRickyI would like to thank the staff for everything they had done for me and my wife after I mad a awful mistake that is to embarrassing to go into ... all I can say is they literally made sure I was not going to be let down and time ruined by going above and beyond anything they needed to do to make my stay a beautiful one after my error ......the food was lovely and also everything was as it was in the pictures if not better something to see for yourself should you go ahead and book a stay .......

PPengguna TetamuDas Hotel liegt etwas abseits des Zentrums an einer stark befahrenen Straße. Daher sollte man ein Zimmer zum Garten wählen. Dieser ist groß und mit schönen Bäumen bewachsen und bietet einen Pavillon, in dem man verweilen kann. Das Haus stammt aus der Mitte des 19. Jhd. und strahlt ein wenig diese Zeit wider. Die Zimmer sind alle unterschiedlich eingerichtet und nostalgisch gestaltet ohne dabei einem bestimmten Stil anzuhängen. Die Räume sind ausreichend groß und haben schöne Bäder. Die Betten sind bequem, unsere Matratzen waren ziemlich neu..Die Dielenböden sind dick mit Teppichboden belegt. Die Treppen sind eng und der Zimmerzugang bisweilen etwas verwinkelt. Die öffentlichen Flächen sind dagegen sehr klein. Der Aufenthaltsraum, der gleichzeitig als Bar dient, hat zwei kleinere Sofas und fünf Sessel. Bar und Rezeption werden von einer Person bedient. Es gibt diverse Getränke, jedoch kein gezapftes Bier oder Cocktails und Mixgetränke. Der Frühstücksraum ist nicht viel größer und die Gäste müssen in drei Schichten von je 45 Minuten frühstücken. Das Frühstück ist englisch, auf Wunsch vegetarisch oder kontinental, es gib Obstsalat, Yoghurt und Fruchtsäfte. Wir hatten vorgebucht, denn das Hotel war voll (Oktober). Es ist als 5* Hotel klassifiziert, was ich nicht ganz nachvollziehen kann, denn da kann man eigentlich mehr erwarten. Die Zimmerpreise sind gerade noch akzeptabel, wenn man das ohnehin höhere Preisniveau von Bath zugrunde legt.

SShriya PopatThe staff were really friendly and sweet! The location is good about 10-15mins walk into central town. Our room was well equipped with a dyson hair dryer. The breakfast was also really lovely. The toilet in the room we stayed in was in a little bit of an awkward position or else this would have recieved 5 stars!

LLiam and JennyAttended on Tuesday 27th Feb. Paid a little extra for room with a bath as like the couple ****** we are, we wanted a bath in Bath. My wife's first time ever visiting here. The hotel is a lovely setting, there is history here and all the staff have been wonderful. Close to the station, literally in front of it, and close to everything. Had the great pleasure of having many encounters with Tim, one of the reception staff and I believe concierges. Super pleasant and always helpful.
We had breakfast included and after having that this morning can honestly say it's bang for your buck, with hot food to order including steak and eggs, (best steak my wife has had in the UK), a breakfast grill and a selection of others plus a typical selection of baked goods and fruits. The bar is pleasant and we enjoyed drinks last night before heading up to our room. Strawberry daiquiri we have had many times but the Amaretto sour was an interesting twist with a strong lemon zest.
The only downside to the visit would be the bath/shower experience. Lukewarm bath and cold shower when we attempted it last night. This morning we got hot water for a total of ten mins to share before it went cold again. Not the worst thing all in all but a downside considering the extra pricing for a bathtub room. I was however assured that had I brought it to the desks attention I would have been assisted and I had just done the British thing of not wanting to fuss.
One last perk that made an impact to me; free luggage storage. We checked out early so we could make the best of our time exploring Bath before we ride home. We were offered free luggage storage for even after we checked out so we could come back in quick before our train at 3pm and grab our bags and go, no extra charge. Fantastically useful as the Abbey tour does not allow luggage inside and we wanted to go.
Anyway, thank you to Tim and all the staff at The Royal for making us feel welcomed and our time there special, we will definitely be coming back someday soon and will stay again. - Liam and Jenny Stephenson, Room 109.

CCTiffValue for money. We were given a newly refurbished room. Although the room was basic, it was clean and smelled new. The receptionist was helpful and chatty. Breakfast was average. Free parking is available in the premises.

MMr. SantoryuThe room was really maintained. It was a bit chilly as the radiator seemed out of order. But overall the amenities were sufficient. The availability of hot kettle with tea and coffees were really convenient. I'd love to stay again sometime.(picture below is the view from our room)

PPengguna TetamuNice clean room, river view, breakfast was full service- eggs, bacon, sausages, baked beans, marmite, section of butter, honey and jams as well as yogurts. No cheese and fresh fruit which would have been nice to have. We have a fan in our room and the weather was delightful. We also enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant which- we ordered pork ribs and chicken Ceasar salad(too good as they char grilled the lettuce). Will definitely come back!

PPengguna TetamuPositives - excellent receptionist (Vipin) and without his help I would have probably checked out early. Has parking. Reasonable location and access into central Bath. Has an electric kettle and a pack of cookies.
Not so positives - In desperate need of upgrade, creaking floors, wash basin outside the bathroom. It isn’t for work related travellers as you cannot even use an iron without tripping off the entire building main switch and once that happen there is no 24 hour active reception. No fan or iron provided in room so you have to ask. Tiny computer monitor used as a make shift TV that you have to pull out of a closet. No drinking water in room. Value for money not there as many better locations available at same or lower price.
