A must-stay for Bath hotels. It is one of few hotels to have in-house spa facilities for guests to use for free. I liked the location too – it is next to the Roman Baths.

Mattress comfortable but not really clean. Free drinks in fridge is a plus. Spacious room. Sufficient to open 2 large luggages and still have room to walk around. Ventilation not very good. Always felt not enough air to breathe. Water pressure in shower is satisfactory. The hotel located in quiet area. Good sleep at night. Only few minutes walk from Bath Spa station. Flat road.

Had a few days getaways me and my daughter for city break and Z hotel was great in middle of town. Everything you want all around us. Train station was a 5 minute walk. Will love to come back again. Friendly service, clean, reasonable prices and great location. Would recommend Z hotel if staying in Bath . Lots to see around. Everything in walking distance.

The location was amazing and easy by walking in town, meet the hotel standards on cleanliness, service and location. staff is very friendly with smile especially on the breakfast time, they are really helpful. However I have booked for 2 nights with the city view queen bed room, but It’s no city view at all. Also, this room is on the upper ground floor and nearby the storage cleaning room is not the good idea for customer especially on the early morning time. The problem is the room always has a terrible noise all the time which make me terrible and can’t sleep well when I am being on the room. I have requested the room which away from elevators and good view before booking but not get anything at all.

The hotel was immaculate. It just missed a little on housekeeping issues. Bags delivered to wrong room, soap and lotion dispensers not refilled. But overall VG. Dining room in the evening was exceptional. Staff could not have been more attentive. Deserts a little plain. Breakfast good vfm. Staff not at the same standard as night before.

Attended on Tuesday 27th Feb. Paid a little extra for room with a bath as like the couple ****** we are, we wanted a bath in Bath. My wife's first time ever visiting here. The hotel is a lovely setting, there is history here and all the staff have been wonderful. Close to the station, literally in front of it, and close to everything. Had the great pleasure of having many encounters with Tim, one of the reception staff and I believe concierges. Super pleasant and always helpful. We had breakfast included and after having that this morning can honestly say it's bang for your buck, with hot food to order including steak and eggs, (best steak my wife has had in the UK), a breakfast grill and a selection of others plus a typical selection of baked goods and fruits. The bar is pleasant and we enjoyed drinks last night before heading up to our room. Strawberry daiquiri we have had many times but the Amaretto sour was an interesting twist with a strong lemon zest. The only downside to the visit would be the bath/shower experience. Lukewarm bath and cold shower when we attempted it last night. This morning we got hot water for a total of ten mins to share before it went cold again. Not the worst thing all in all but a downside considering the extra pricing for a bathtub room. I was however assured that had I brought it to the desks attention I would have been assisted and I had just done the British thing of not wanting to fuss. One last perk that made an impact to me; free luggage storage. We checked out early so we could make the best of our time exploring Bath before we ride home. We were offered free luggage storage for even after we checked out so we could come back in quick before our train at 3pm and grab our bags and go, no extra charge. Fantastically useful as the Abbey tour does not allow luggage inside and we wanted to go. Anyway, thank you to Tim and all the staff at The Royal for making us feel welcomed and our time there special, we will definitely be coming back someday soon and will stay again. - Liam and Jenny Stephenson, Room 109. This is a truely super hotel! We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday and it was a delight from start to finish. The building itself is of course elegant and historic and has been complemented by the interir decoration which is bright and warm. The staff were professional, kind and friendly and at all times provided an excellent service. We felt that everyone was keen for us to have the best possible time at the hotel which lead to a nice positive and relaxing experience. On top of this our room was stunning and the food first class , so all in all we were extremely happy!!

Premier inn always have excellent service and the breakfast have lots of choices. The room is clean and the staff are very nice and approachable.

The room was good and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. While I personally preferred another room I stayed in previously, this one was still satisfactory. Overall, it was a decent experience and offered good value for the stay.
