AP Premier is one of the oldest hotel in Batam Indonesia and was known as Novotel in the past. The hotel was one of the top grade hotels in Batam when I stayed there 20+ years ago (yr 2001). Although there are many hotel options now days in batam but AP Premier is still my favorite place to stay when visiting batam for business trip recently. The hotel location is good to me. It is very near to ferry terminal, Habourbay (in fact within walking distance) and Nagoya, the old town center where most of the tourists from Singapore would like to visit. The hotel public area is quite spacious. The breakfast selection was great. Room is clean and comfortable to stay. Hotel service is awesome especially the front desk team like Miss Wani and Mr Dona are exceptionally helpful.

I would said this is more like a Business hotel. Overall is a good experience, there's option on paying the hotel deposit or let the hotel to keep the passports. Breakfast options is good. Have not try the swimming pool and gym facilities. TV is very large, but why the information were in chinese wording.

Saya pergi ke sana dengan jangkaan yang rendah kerana ulasan di tripadvisor. Tetapi saya rasa hotel ini agak bagus secara keseluruhan. Ya, hotel ini agak lama, dan linen mungkin mempunyai kesan kecil, tetapi saya terkejut kerana katil kembar mereka sebenarnya adalah katil bersaiz queen dan katil single. Bilik mereka juga dilengkapi dengan kebanyakan perabot kayu. Satu lagi yang saya sangat suka ialah penghawa dingin, sangat kuat dan sangat sejuk. Kami membungkus diri kami dalam selimut seperti burrito. Mungkin satu perkara kecil yang perlu diberi perhatian ialah walaupun terdapat papan tanda ”dilarang merokok” di lif, masih terdapat pengembara yang merokok secara terbuka di sana. Tetapi selain itu, saya rasa hotel ini secara keseluruhannya okay. Ia juga agak selamat, kerana anda perlu mengimbas kad bilik sebelum memilih tahap yang anda mahu pergi. Terdapat juga Macdonalds berdekatan, hanya perlu menyeberang jalan.

Good business hotel laying in the heart of Batam Centre. Room is clean and the closets smell like new. Toilet have integrated bidet and is, as well as the shower, well maintained. Breakfast is nice with a various choice of local and western meals. Served by motivated personell who will help you when you need them. The reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I feel that the price / quality is not really correct. In my opinion the price is too high especially when you have to pay extra for breakfast. If you're a businessman this will be the perfect hotel to stay for you. For leisure it's also a good hotel, but there are other hotels over there who will offer you enough for 50% of the price I paid for this hotel.

Very very good! Clean and nice. Quiet and peaceful. Booked 3 rooms. The only problems founds are bed are little too noisy while turning and one of the toilet shower head need replacement (broken) due to previous quests damage it probably. Breakfast is alright. Service is good. Deposits is required even if it’s fully paid.

Good place to stay in Batam, have alot of amenities all under Pacific. There's food court (i think open at evening-night only), swimming pool, gym (i think, didnt check it out), ”****** machines”, ktv, disco, massage, spa (for men only) all under 1 roof. Shopping wise it's 10-15mins ride away from big shopping malls. And likewise to Harbour Bay and Nagoya. seems to be really big but many areas are now empty. Recommend eating the breakfast at level 2 (rp120,000) instead of level 1 (rp100,000rp) buffet style. Room service is good. Generally clean but not for the fussy ones. Heater and aircon working. WiFi could be better but it's still good. Some cons: My balcony room view is facing some water tank and its not the nicest view. Some of the facilities seems rundown: fridge not really cold, water tap sometimes leaking. The balcony door is unable to lock. Make sure you don't leave any valuables lying around, though I doubt people could climb in without endangering their lives. No shaving kit provided. There's no convenient store in the hotel, nearest one is 5 mins walk outside the hotel. Overall a pleasant stay and generally safe, not a bad experience, nothing lost or stolen. Would stay again if I'm visiting again. Recommended.

I had a great time with my family at Batam Marriott to celebrate my birthday. The service was amazing and the staffs were thoughtful. We like the location as it is just next to the ferry jetty. Many restaurants near the hotel too. The gym and swimming pool are clean and new. Thank you for the special birthday cake!

View from apartment was good. Not sufficient utensils. Only spoons and no forks. Sofa and single mattress stained. Found rubbish inside and under coffee table not cleaned. Wall socket beside sofa not working. Communication with staff was good!

We booked a total of 10 rooms including twins and double for a 3 days 2 nights stay in Batam recently. On the day when we arrived at the hotel at 2.30 local time, only 3 rooms were ready while 7 rooms would be ready around 5pm local time. We were disappointed as we expected check-in at 2pm but it did not happen. Next, we temporarily occupied the 3 rooms and left all our luggage in these 3 rooms first before we decided to explore Batam. We tested to see if the equipment was working in the rooms, the TV had to be replaced from another room while the next room's remote control was not working and had to be replaced by the housekeeping team. Aircon was at 17 degrees but could not feel the coolest. There was a strong stenchy smell from the toilet shower outlet. It was so bad that we asked for housekeeping people to check on it. They came and sprayed air refresher and covered the water outlet with a small soap hoping that the smell will go away. Some of the balance rooms indeed had the same problem too. When asked to change our rooms, they gave the excuse that there were no rooms available and that the maintenance team will look at it by the time we returned. Breakfast was very limited and not much of varieties. Overall, it was not a hotel that I would go to unless they maintain or upgrade this place. Some of the room facing was bad and the toilet bowls were placed so close to the sink it was difficult to sit on it. An overhaul of this place is really required.
