Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort

We a great stay at Carribean Beach over the summer. We had a fifth sleeper room in the Aruba building right next to the skyliner stop. Location was so convenient for transportation with both the skyliner and bus stop a few mins from our room. We also really enjoyed the amenities including the drink refill station in our building. The pool was amazing we spent the first few hours we were there before our room was ready swimming and relaxing at the pool my boys had a blast on the water slides we also got a large cheese pizza at the main restaurant in the lobby and it was affordable and really tasty. Room was really clean and comfortable even for a family of five. Whenever we needed anything it only took a quick phone call to housekeeping and they brought it over super quick. The grounds were beautiful my son really enjoyed laying on the hammocks on the beach area and I just loved the plant life throughout the property . We will 100 percent come to stay here again on our next Disney world trip.

Without doubt now our new favourite resort when staying on property. This was our first time staying at Caribbean beach but it won’t be our last. We stayed for 12 nights and had quick service dining included (a promotion we booked when it was running for UK guests). We requested proximity to sky liner and were allocated a room in the Jamaica section of the resort- we would absolutely request this when staying again as it was located in an excellent spot for the sky liner, a quick walk over the bridge to the lobby and also near its own quiet pool. We found the staff to be pleasant and courteous and the food was ok- typical for Disney. The main pool is great for kids and we enjoyed being able to walk to riviera also. Our room in Jamaica is one of the older rooms- not yet renovated- but it was perfectly adequate for our needs. The selling point of this resort if you are getting it for a decent price is definitely location and also the addition of the skyliner. Whilst other resorts like pop and animation are on the skyliner- they still have to transfer at Caribbean beach. If you stay at Caribbean beach you just get on directly to Hollywood studios or Epcot- it’s a game changer taking two buses out of the equation.

We stayed at Disney Caribbean Resort with our family for our magical Disney vacation. We had 3 rooms all located in the Barbados building which was an excellent location, close to the lobby, dining, shops and main pool as well as the Barbados pool which we used often. It was very convenient staying at the Barbados building as it was close to the bus stop to the theme parks and Disney springs as well as being able to go for coffee and fill our refillable Disney cups at the restaurant. Watched our Philadelphia Eagles WIN the Superbowl and we celebrated at the Banana Cabana that was filled with Philly Fans, it was great had lots of fun. Our bartender Adam did a great job and kept us well hydrated :) We were thankful everyone was in the same building as it's a large resort. Also, it was just a short walk to the Skyliner across the road was a bonus. You can see the nightly fireworks from Epcot which we watched on the bench by the Barbados building. The private transportation we used for the week was Merie's Orlando Express they were great and they even picked us up and dropped us off in the parking lot of our Barbados bldg. It has a great vibe of the Caribbean with the theme of the resort and decor, loved it! Shout outs to the excellent customer service provided by the staff Megan at the front desk, and Megan and Milton who are gems at this resort that truly LOVE their job and it shows, very personable and helpful. For a Disney Property we have high expectations and this stay did not live up to it. The groups and pool 10/10 but the room was worn. The tub had a few stray hairs in it, a little bit of mold spots on the tub, around the faucet, under the soap holder down the grout , and the shower pressure was lacking. The twin bed Murphy bed sheets must have been forgot about because there were used sheets left on it, the water bucket had left over water in it with plastic bag drapped over it. This is not what you expect from a Disney property and we are Disney fans. We ended up getting a $100 credit and checking out after 1 night stay when we were planning to stay 4 nights.

I just got back from staying here for six days and I highly recommend this resort! I did my research and, basically, stayed here for the convenience of taking the skyliner to Hollywood Studios and Epcot. It's so convenient. I, also, read up on which of the six different areas to stay in that is closest to the skyliner. Jamaica and Aruba are where you want to be if that's your main priority. Building 41 and 42 are, literally, a 2-3 minute walk. They have a bus stop close by too if you want to go to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney Springs or a water park. The buses come pretty regularly so you're never waiting long. Additionally, they have internal buses that drive around the complex. The first few days I would take the internal bus to get to the lobby/main pool area until I walked it in the daylight and saw it was only about a five-minute walk. The rooms are great too. They have a little table with two chairs, a large flat screen television, refrigerator, great water pressure in the shower, Alexa and their shampoo and conditioner are amazing. I even looked online when I returned to purchase them, and they are exclusive to Disney properties and cruises. An added bonus is that you can see the Epcot fireworks each night at 9pm! There are two negative comments, but the positives certainly weigh out my two negatives. The signage related to the building numbers are inadequate, at best. If you're returning at nighttime and it's your first or second day it will be very difficult to find the right building. Plus, if you're on the second floor there are only a couple of places that have stairs to the second level, and you have to walk around looking for them. There aren't a lot of lights, too, at night so you need to be familiar with your building. The other negative is the dining and gift shops. I should say shop as there is just one gift shop. It has, pretty much, everything that you would need but isn't that large and the quantity of merchandise is lacking. I don't care a lot about food choices but the menu on the one market is limited. There is a regular restaurant, however I didn't go there at all. There is, also, a grab and go type place but, again, not a huge assortment of items. I, also, love that each area has its own pool if you don't want to go to the main pool. The property app is great too! I used it to open the door on my room, use it for any and all charges, find the bus schedule and many, many other options. All in all, I highly recommend this property and think you will be very happy with your decision should you stay here. I should have led with this.....all the cast members are amazing! Friendly, informative and happy to help with anything you may need.

I stayed at the Caribbean resort with a large party. Myself and 14 others including two other families for two weeks 9th-23rd February: We were situated closely together which we asked for in the Aruba section.we asked for ground floor rooms due to strollers and having a disabled person with us. Overall we had a good experience. The room really wasn’t big enough for five us (2 adults, 2 kids and a baby) but they were fairly decent rooms and the beds were really comfortable. The room could have done with more storage space and the hotel room felt slightly dated but clean. We asked for a microwave and kettle due to having a baby and this was given. Location wise, we were a few minute walk to the bus stop for magic kingdom, animal kingdom and Disney springs and 8 minute walk to the main reception/lobby. The walk was pleasant along the beach and over the bridge, so I highly recommend staying in Aruba. We were also a short walking distance to the skyliner and the Riveria resort. Riveria do a lovely breakfast and we quite often walked over there instead of the lobby to eat. The pool was great and the kids really enjoyed it, the pizza in the lobby is really good and we one night ate pizza whilst we watched the movie under the stars put on by the cast members. The.marshmallow toasting was also another great activity put on. The mickey brownie icecream Sundays were a huge hit with the children, as well as the refillable drink stations. The food in the lobby was ok, not the greatest for vegetarians and was given a meat burger one day by mistake which I bit into before I realised. On the whole was average. I would stay here again but not with three children in one room due to the lack of space and storage. Every room is the same size so you cannot upgrade. One of the bell staff was rude to my friend snatching a tip and not saying thank you. Other than that we had a pleasant experience with the staff and found everyone exceptionally helpful and friendly: we had a couple of medical emergency’s in our party and we had a doctor to a room in 30 minutes: we also had a pharmacy delivery of medication to my son within a couple of hours thanks to the help of the staff.
