Exchange Hotel Beaconsfield

A fabulous period hotel. Beautifully furnished and appointed. Great bar with very interesting memorabilia. Breakfast is self serve and a great way to start the day. Close to the Beaconsfield Mine Museum. 30 minutes from Launceston and a good location to explore the Tamar region. Gavin an excellent host.

The attention to detail at the Exchange is second to none, with outstanding comfort, charm and cleanliness. From luxurious bed linen to the atmospheric bar with its wood fire, there is a feeling of warmth and welcome. The bar provides a wide range of beverages with a focus on Tasmanian spirits and wines. However, the most unforgettable experience is that of the hosts in this family business, for whom nothing is too much trouble. They offer an experience catered to your desire for privacy and/or inclusion. Their thoughtfulness leaning toward your comfort will be remembered. Each room also has its own smart tv which includes access to all the major streaming platforms. This is a destination experience, especially with close proximity to many interesting attractions and is great value for money. I would look forward to staying here again and would recommend to my friends and family.

What an amazing place! Not only does it have ultra-soft comfortable beds with fantastic service from Gordan and Tom but the whole hotel has a story to tell. Look at the walls, the pictures and follow this heritage building back in time. Highly recommended whether on your own, with the family or just for a wedding aniversay!
