Clouds on Beechmont

My partner and I had an awful experience at clouds on beechmont. There was mould everywhere on the tent, kitchen had cobwebs everywhere, the drop toilet smell was unbearable. We had originally booked this in september 2023 only to arrive and they had double booked and had to turn around and drive home. They offered us 2 free days to stay but sadly another unhappy experience. We thought we could make the best of things despite the place being filthy but to our dismay we had some unexpected guests come through the wholes in the tent, bush rats. We had enough and called the owners only to be greeted with "well what do you want me to do about it" we left at 11pm at night very unhappy, sad and disappointed. It has been two days and still no phone call to apologise. Will not be recommending this place to anyone!

We stayed in the chalet after a wonderful walk at Lamington National Park The chalet is only a short 15 mins drive away. The chalet was very clean and comfortable with spectacular views from the veranda Our host was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The birds in the aviaries on site were lovely to look at as were the peacocks wandering around. We were also surprised to find a home cooked pasta dinner in the fridge on arrival. We are looking forward to returning.

Staff are very friendly but the place was filthy and not maintained. There was mould everywhere and its all you could smell. Freezer was disgusting, dirty electric frypan left in the cupboard. Amazing views but a HUGE disappointment. Nothing like the photos.
