Ulasan Wangjing Tower Hotel

Our experience was exceptional. We reserved a Deluxe Room - With View (Balcony) three months in advance. This reservation included a package comprising breakfast for two, a Simatai Great Wall Day Tour Ticket (inclusive of a round-trip cableway ride), a Beijing Wtown Ticket for two, and a Hot Spring Experience Voucher for two. The package proved to be both valuable and perfectly suited to our needs. The reception staff demonstrated remarkable helpfulness, particularly the individual who assisted us with check-in and resolved an issue. His kindness was greatly appreciated, and we remain grateful for his assistance on that day. If I had the opportunity to return, I would certainly choose Wangjing Tower Boutique hotel again. 🫶🏻✨️🍁

Hotel and room was charming, set in the quaint watertown. Service was top-notch, esp the personnel at the reception and concierge, who were not only courteous but helpful to explain the various programs and performances around the Watertown. There’re 2 meals provided w a choice of western or Chinese. Meal portions were huge. Location was literally next to the access to Simatai Great Wall and there were 2 hot spring locations to choose from next to the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wangjing!

Absolutely amazing hotel. Beautiful and luxurious. Hotel staff is very helpful. Room is clean and comfortable. Hot springs are just 50 meters from the hotel.

Nestled in a secluded location, this hotel is a prime choice for anyone seeking a peaceful atmosphere. The staff provided exceptionally thoughtful service, and the view from our balcony room was absolutely stunning. I would certainly stay at Wangjing Tower again on my next visit to Gubei.

The scenic area has recovered wonderfully after the post-disaster reconstruction, and I found both the service and facilities offered good value for money. **Facilities:** The location is excellent. Being the highest-altitude hotel in the entire scenic area, it was fortunately unaffected by the flash floods. **Service:** The restaurant's specialty Shandong cuisine is definitely worth trying! The luggage delivery service was also very convenient and efficient.

This hotel is incredibly beautiful! The location right by the Great Wall cannot be beat. It takes about 30 minutes to walk here from the entrance to the water town, but you can also catch a shuttle to the hotel when you check in. The staff were very helpful and considerate.

Amazing place to stay with brilliant staff. The location is very good as it is next to The Great Wall and not far from the main square. The breakfast was very nice with plenty of options. Being given access to The Great Wall as well as access to the hot springs was a lovely touch. Special shout out to the staff who made our stay extra special. A young man who works on reception - I think his name is Ma - was very helpful and informative. Thank you.

It’s excellent and worth value of what we paid. There is a transportation service between the village entrance and the hotel. The hotel is very near to the entrance if Simatai Great Walls.

The hotel is located some 100m away from the Samatai Great Wall ticket entrance {RMB120] though the climb is rather challenging due to the uneven steps leading to the great wall [especially for night climbs can be challenging for older folks]. The hotel is clean but with very low occupancy [likely due to the price tag] next to the sauna house which I did not use. Gubei Water Town was pretty decent for this is a replica town build for tourist in 2013 if not mistaken. Night scene was great with laser and drone show illuminating the sky. Ample restaurant around but with very few patronages for most. Overall a pretty nice/decent place to visit if you have an extra day in Beijing to kill.

The room is spectacular.

Good hotel. Nothing extraordinary but good for what it is. The bathhouse next door is worth a visit. 

One of the nearest hotel in Gubei watertown to the entrance of Simatai Greatwall cablecar ride. The hotel is lovely and staff are extremely friendly and helpful.We love our room with a view facing the greatwall. There's a lovely circular bathtub where one can soak in after the hike.Daily breakfast was sent to the room and served in bed.We totally enjoy our 2 nights stay in Wangjing Tower.

It was perfect. The most perfect location. The most perfect room. Just delightful. However staff can be more welcoming to foreigners and let us explore we have good intentions and manners. Breakfast was Mediocre but who needs breakfast when you don't want to leave your room?
