Jiado Hotel

I chose this hotel for its closeness to my family's home during my short visit. It is a great hotel for such short visits and to just spend the night. The room is clean, newly renovated but very small with bathroom/shower door open almost next to the bed and there is little room to open my suitcase. The window looks out to roofs of other buildings so there is not much view but better than those rooms that have no windows. The bathroom has good showers and a great toilet with heated seat, bidet washing and blow dry functions. One drawback is the bathroom vents are connected to the vents next door. And I can often smell smoking from next door. The guest was smoking despite it's a non smoking floor, inside the bathroom to avoid trigger alarms. The communication with staff is by WeChat. So I had to text them on 2 occasions to ask them to stop the guy from smoking. Which was annoying. There are bottles of water at the the hotel entrance so guests can take them freely which is good. There is no breakfast, but there are restaurants next door and nearby so there are actually many choices.
