The hotel has an old-world charm, and its proximity to many schools makes transportation convenient. It's very close to my office, and the breakfast spread is generous with really sweet fruits. There are a lot of Russian guests, and they offer both Western and Chinese food, which is very handy.

It's an old hotel, tucked away and not too crowded. The front desk is on level -1. The room is spacious enough, but the facilities are a bit dated. The price is very reasonable though, making it pretty good value for money.

The courtyard is serene, exuding a strong Zen ambiance. The front desk, dining area, and other public spaces are located on the basement level. The rooms are spacious and elegant, with many decorative elements featuring lotus themes, which are visually appealing and immersive 🪷🪷

Nothing worked: 1. booked because it had a great gym, later changed the picture and told me they changed it because of new year 2. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, had been the three days with back pain because of it 3. They almost didn’t clean the room (found a sock inside my bed on day 2) 4. The bath robe was wet!! 5. Had to go and fetch my laundry

Always a great stay. I booked this for a client, and it's close to our company, making it very convenient for getting around. Plus, it's even easier to get to places with the nearby subway. The environment is comfortable and quiet! The experience is consistently good every time, and the value for money is excellent.

Returned again! The location is superb, the facilities are grand and classic, the rooms are spacious, and the price offers excellent value for money. It's always my top choice for business trips.

This Zen-inspired hotel tucked away in Dongcheng District was such a pleasant surprise! It's a tranquil oasis built right next to Xizhao Temple, offering a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle, with a charming, ancient courtyard. The room was spacious, clean, and even had a bathtub – perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day of exploring. It's within walking distance to the subway, making it super convenient to get to the Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven. The service was attentive, and it's excellent value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Beijing!

During the Dragon Boat Festival, my relatives brought their kids to Beijing, and I still recommended this hotel. The hotel's location is excellent, close to all the attractions, and transportation is convenient, making shopping easy. I'll definitely recommend this place again next time.

Great location, peaceful yet still close to the action. However, it's at least 900 meters from the metro station.

Enjoyed the room. Silent and cozy hotel. “Gym” is a joke: huge room with only 1 treadmill, 1 bicycle and 1 dumbbell. Staff barely speaks English but it’s okay. Convenient location.

I'm satisfied with the location, cleanliness, and all other aspects. For such a big city like Beijing, the room rates are incredibly low, which is definitely commendable. I'll definitely book this hotel again for my next stay.

Pretty good hotel, for it's price point. As a solo traveller, the room was really quiet, peaceful, in a pretty decent non touristy neighbourhood near parks and plenty of restaurants. I wouldn't recommend it for families with kids though. Maybe solo travellers , group of guys etc etc. It's like a good 4 star hotel you would find back in the 90s and early 2000s. I loved it.
