So happy I only booked for the one night. When I did checkin I was told that it was impossible for me to have made the booking as they were fully booked already, despite me having prepaid. Eventually got a room. The hotel had a teeny tiny tv with no options. There wasn’t even water left in the room. The room looks like it was decorated in the 90s and never updated. Didn’t even bother with breakfast cause I just wanted to get out. Not what I was expecting at this price point.

What a great hotel. Amazing friendly welcome on arrival day and during the stay from the lady at reception. The rooms are super spacious. Everything you need for a good night rest and relaxing time. Breakfast is available with a big selection of eggs and pastries. Very relaxing atmosphere. Inside and outside seating. Was a nice relaxing stay. Will highly recommend the hotel,staff, and location

We booked a colleague into the hotel. We had to leave a day before our original check out time. The still charged us for the next day, despite that we have stayed there several times before and a regular patrons. We will now take our business elsewhere.

Quiet, homely and beautiful hotel away from the hustles and bustles of the city. Staff are warm and caring. Rooms are the perfect size for a vacation.

Marriott is losing its customer centricity, it seems to be a global phenomenon. It has become a common observation. I have had better experiences with other hotel chains atleast in this year.

I stayed at this location on the 26th June 2023 for business purposes. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The restaurant was a nice location with good food, and the room was very spacious with a separate lounge area and room with a king-sized bed. 2 Air Conditioners kept both rooms toasty (given that it was in mid-winter conditions), Only criticism is that neither bed reading lamps worked. All n all an enjoyable endeavor.

Hotel well situated for visits to Cape Town, the Durbanvulle Wine area and other wine areas. The staff is very nice and the rooms are ok - a bit dated and cracks and damages everywhere, which is not a problem. The main issue for me with the hotel is that the rooms are noisy, you can hear the next door neighbors and the sounds of TV's penetrate the walls.

This was a price I won on a race. I thought we would go and spoil ourselves, even we live closeby and had to pay a bit extra. My partner arrived first. When he arrived at the reception, they refused him to let him in the bedroom. He had to wait for me at the swimmingpool (he enjoyed it though, but felt a bit unwelcome). He left the message at the reception for me so that I know where to find him. When I arrived, I asked at the gate if someone arrived for the booking I've made - the answer was no. At the reception, I asked if my partner arrived, same answer - no. The receptionnist asked me to pay the balance before to get my key. I checked in and saw my partners luggage in the room brought by the room service - despite they said that nobody came for the room... The room is nice looking, but some issues : The ceiling lamps are flashing, we didn't have hot water the first evening, the generator was just outside our window, so a bit noisy when loadshedding, but the worse was the delivery truck, the laundry truck and the big tourist bus trying to make their way and waiting in front of our window with the motor on on Saturday morning (noise and fumes...). The breakfast was good. I enjoyed my price, but if I had to pay the full amount, I would have been crossed.
