My first ever all inclusive holiday , I was a bit apprehensive at first , but wow what a surprise When I arrived the reception staff were very happy and helpful , I was allowed to put my case in the storage and use the facilities, went for a swim in the pool straight away , lovely , clean plenty of sun beds , and sampled my first cocktail , the bar staff at all bars were absolutely lovely always up for a laugh and were brilliant !!! Arrived my room , clean comfortable and cool , fantastic views , lovely shower and clean bathroom, yes it is slightly dated but as long as it’s clean that’s all that matters The lifts are rickety and shaky but didn’t get stuck once The food was good there’s something for everyone I have to admit I was absolutely addicted to the donut Ice creams and the coconut yoghurts and melon , fruit was delicious there and the pastries at breakfast were delicious The evening entertainment was great I enjoyed it very much the reptile show and the parrot shows were hosted by the most lovely guys who took some fabulous photos which I purchased each time , after the show I had a chat with them about their birds and they even gave me some grapes to give to them well done guys !! Overall 11/10 all the staff the reception staff the cleaners the bar staff the maintenance guys everyone is really friendly , I for one will be returning thank you so much for an amazing stay

Really well organised place. Cleaning staff were fantastic. Food was really good, it was however very same ish but other than that, no complaints. I’d definitely come back here. Pool was absolutely fantastic ! Only a few mins walk to the beach!

Hotel was amazing and clean. Staff was kind and polite. Cleaners clean your room everyday. Lots to do and good quality food. The jet 2 rep at the hotel was amazing. Nothing to much trouble. Will definitely be back and can't thank magic tropical splash enough.

Unless you pay for ultra inclusive, it is not worth coming here. The inside of the hotel is in need of some serious repairs. The lino they put on the wall of one lift was peeling. On the same lift two floor buttons were broken. Another lift broke down Daily. Our room air con broke on a day that was 27degrees and the receptionist said they would send someone within the hour and no one came at all, my husband managed to fix it. We ended up eating out all the time which wasn't cheap at all because the food was undercooked and in one restaurant the food was left out all day, so it was disgusting. My step dad got ill on the first day. The kids club isn't good at all, it was on for about an hour or two a day and it was just crafts in a small room. The three mascots were never seen, u till after 10pm when one would appear on the stage at the end of the show for photos. The shows were repetitive and didn't start on time or anywhere near the time. The shows are also out in the garden bit by the swimming pools. The massive pro of the hotel was the swimming pool areas, it looked picturesque. We paid for inclusive but was only allowed in one restaurant which opened at 7pm for tea, 1pm for lunch and 8am for breakfast. That was OK. But we weren't allowed in any of the other restaurants like the pirates tavern. You have to pay for the gaming experience room which only opens after 4pm. When I voiced a Complaint to reception they were rude and didn't want to hear it. We did however meet a couple friendly people around the resort and the beach restaurant we went too. Safety isn't too big at the hotel, only the bottom level of the stairs has friction grips on them, the rest do not and get rather slippery with water and sand. This hotel would be suited to a couple but not a family with young kids or the elderly.

After mixed reviews I was a bit worried about my stay at Magic Tropical Splash. Have to say that I shouldn't have been though! Had a fantastic weeks stay here with husband and daughter. Staff are lovely and room cleaned on a daily basis. It's a five minute walk down to a lovely beach surrounded by cafes and restaraunts, even a supermarket. If you want to go into Benidorm it's a 15 minute bus journey that stops right outside hotel and very cheap at €4.80 for 3 people. There is a massive amount of food to choose from in the all inclusive and most nights had something to suit everyone's taste. I don't drink so cannot comment on that but bar looked well stocked. I would definitely return to this hotel again

Staff friendly and food great with lots of choices for each meal. Room ok but on 1st floor so only view was air-conditioning units and a bit of pool. Atleast we didn't have to rely on lifts. Bus stop outside to Benidorm and short 15min walk to either Finestrat beach or Poniente nr Benidorm. Main downside was some of the guests. Never seen so much waste of food on plates and towels on sunbeds for hours and no one sitting there. Loads of children considering it was term time. Spent more time at the beach.

A great hotel for families away from the main busy Benidorm. Plenty to keep children happy and entertained. A large buffet restaurant with lots of choice and a smaller snack restaurant near the pools. The pools are very good as are the different slides. The all inclusive plus is worth the extra money as it gets you into shows and other activities ( I can recommend the Robin Hood show). The evening entertained is as expected at a large family hotel with a good entertainment team. While the hotel reception staff are helpful I found the staff at the Jet2 desk a good source of information for getting out and about, even if you're not a Jet2 customer. The rooms are a good size. The down side, you do sometimes have to wait quite a while for a lift, plenty of them just busy at certain times of the day. The food in the Italian restaurant that you have to book is very average. Its the same food as the buffet restaurant except table service. The childrens entertainment goes on until almost midnight, which is fine for people who don't mind very young children running around that late. The hotel is in need of a good refurbishment. Especially the bedrooms. The balcony door in my room didn't close properly even after the maintenance man put a new catch on it. The balcony itself wasn't cleaned at all while I was there (apart from me cleaning the table) and the stickiness of the floor and table was there prior to me using it.

Just leaving the resort now after a fabulous week..The weather was poor for the first few days but that can't be an excuse to change your opinion of the hotel. Spacious, clean apartment, mini bar re stocked daily. Pools nice and clean, not much hassle with sunbeds Drinks were great with cruzcampo & Heineken as the lagers. Cocktails were better than we've had elsewhere. Our opinion was that the food was amazing. Enjoyed every meal every day. Plenty of choice, well cooked, warm, tasty. Very good indeed

Where do you start. The hotel is very dated, though according to the write up it had undergone a make over! Well it truly must have been a 50min make over. This is a hotel from the 80's and 90's. Lifts are very noisy, tatty and slow. Cracked tiles in bathroom floor, a kitchen area in a cupboard when your all inclusive? Staff were pleasant and hard working that is for sure. Food was basic all inclusive and very repetitive, but in general it was okay. Even though its all inclusive, you still had to pay for cards for the plastic cups, pool towels, 15 eus each, and the safe deposit of 30 eus, yes its all refundable, but you still have to pay it out. There is something very odd about the entertainment at this hotel. The adult entertainment starts at 5pm and finishes at 7pm 90% of the time. But the kids entertainment starts late and finishes at 11pm. Baby shark blaring out at gone 9 is not exactly adult entertainment. If you want a hotel which is just for young families or families with young children then this is the place for you. Bring a footy shirt and you will love it. On a plus, the local beach at La Cala, just 5min walk is lovely and paradise compared to the over crowded noisy pool area. You will pay for sunbeds and umbrella but hey that's a price worth paying to escape this very unpleasant hotel. I am certain others will love it, each to their own, but for me, it was just awful.
