Great position between the old town and the crazy town. Comfortable beds and fantastic food. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Staff really helpful and friendly. Entertainment was ok as well. Hard to fault anything really. Drinks not too expensive either.

So firstly the drop off to this hotel is round the corner. Once we arrived at reception we were told a double room was booked. I had especially put down on the Easyjet special request a twin room was needed. However the lady on reception at this time was able to accommodate this after a few hours. Hotel is clean and modern. Air conditioning in the room wasn't great but it worked. Good size rooms. Cleaned daily to a good standard. I never got excited about meal times. Food was never hot unfortunately. There was alot of the same food everyday. Bar staff were slow at times but friendly. Best part for me was meeting David the entertainment host. He tried his best to get people involved with the daily activities. I did get involved as well as did lots of other guests. But as it was a bit repeatable I think people got fed up. My suggestion is to have different games everyday. Every week different. Have a small prize for the winners. But credit to David extremely likeable fella. He made my holiday better along with a lovely northern Ireland family I met. Please give him a pay rise. He certainly deserves it. David Made sure the hotel knew it was my birthday . Would I return probably not the area was too built up for me. But would pop in to say hello to David. Asset to this hotel 100 .

We had such a lovely 4 night stay in the Royal Hotel, the staff are so lovely and friendly. We had a room on the 9th floor which was great, Food was fabulous, such a huge choice for breakfast and the evening meal just great. The Sunday sirloin beef was so lovely and great Yorkshire puddings. Pizza really good and last night chicken fajitas were just so tasty. We will defo come back and stay here again, my only quibble was people leaving empty sunloungers for hours. We would have loved a lounger around the pool but yesterday I counted 22 empty sunloungers and the people must have gone out and left their towels. 2 ladies came back got their towels and went to their rooms.

Went to the hotel on Sunday for a four day stay. Situated just in the old town easy access to the beach bars and shops . Very clean all round the hotel. Towels changed daily and rooms cleaned daily too. Tea bags coffee milk sugar etc also replenished everyday. The food always hot and plenty of choice at breakfast .We stayed bed and breakfast but eat the first night there which was also really good .Staff all polite and very helpful. Checking out was 12 so had plenty of time before we got picked up

After several visits to this hotel unfortunately we were disappointed with our recent stay. The hotel is starting to look tired and the room had a threadbare carpet. There was definitely a reduction in food quality and choice although there has been an increase in prices especially a big increase to upgrade to gold which we didn't feel was worth it anymore. The staff, as always were welcoming and work hard. The pool really needs to be heated as does the hot tub as it wasn't even warm. Location is good but we won't be returning again.

Just returned from a few days at the RH Royal, this hotel dose everything right, friendly staff, excellent food,clean and a great location. Turn right out of the hotel straight into Old Benidorm,turn left then right straight into the new town perfect. At this time of year the guests were all of a older generation but that was fine with us . As a group of 4 who've been to Benidorm many times we all agreed this hotel was perfect.. 👏

Fifth time visit to the amazing RHRoyal! What can I say? The staff as always are so professional, friendly and personable. Juan Antonio and Alfonso do a great job running the bar. Rosa is amazing running the restaurant. We were greeted like old friends! The food and drink is great. We were gold all inclusive and it was certainly worth the small upgrade we paid from the full board that we had booked with Jet2. Larios gin was lovely as was the campo viejo white wine- the measures are very generous! We had requested a first floor room and this was accommodated for us. We were there during Halloween and had a fabulous fun packed break! David as always is amazing 🤩 and created lots of fun with games through the day and entertainment on an evening with games and quizzes before the show. When we were here in May the friends we met recommended New Year’s Eve - so we’re booked for the 29th December for four nights. I’m then returning in February for a break with the girls. Then we come back in May with the friends we made last year! We travel a lot and regularly holiday in Greece and the Canaries as well as Benidorm but this is our favourite hotel of anywhere we go - the staff make it feel like coming home every time! But the stand out star is David he is an amazing credit to the hotel! See you all again in December! Joanne and Chris

My friend and her sister whom both are disabled stayed a week here and both say it was top notch absolutely amazing and couldn’t fault it.The food rooms and especially the staff were great nothing was to hard for them and even would go out there way for them.

Just stayed here for the fourth time. I can’t find anything negative to say. Excellent location, good food and comfortable beds. The staff here are a credit to the hotel. Everyone is so friendly. Special mention to Alfonso and Claudia in the bar and the chef who cooks the eggs for breakfast. Will definitely book here next time we come to Benidorm.
