Grand Luxor Village

Están Ia ideal para pasar una nochevieja.

Lovely location , but would have benefited from a hotel shuttle bus service into Benidorm town . (Spent a fortune on taxis ) Accommodation was lovely but no water in rooms , no kettle, rooms and balconies were plagued by ants . Our room had no cover on the smoke alarm in the bedroom. Lacking in hooks and shelf space in the bathroom . We had breakfast included but we arrived at different times each day and each time the food was cold ( great selection though)and no one to cook fresh omelettes etc . Also we had a 8am checkout, so we couldn’t get breakfast . It would have been a nice touch to provide us with a basic packed up breakfast ( fruit, filled rolls , water or fruit juice ) The on-site mini market( as advertised) was pointless as had hardly anything there and it would have been nice to have had outside seating at the cafeteria. Positives were .. free passes to Aqualandia , dolphin show, use of Grand Luxor Hotel swimming pool which was a short walk away . All in all not worth the money we paid .

I don’t understand the negative reviews. One needs to research the hotel and it’s amenities before you book. So don’t expect something that it is not there if you didn’t bother to do any research at all. This is a hotel near a theme park and this place has villas. The Grand Luxor Villas have a kitchenette with microwave, stove, toaster, small coffee machine, pots and pans, plates, spoon/fork etc. There is a dishwasher and a refrigerator. All you have to do is bring your drinks and food if you prefer to cook. We absolutely love this villa. We have the duplex villa with it’s own pool. Two bedrooms which is located in the 2nd floor and a one bathroom upstairs and another located downstairs. The pool is small but perfect for a family vacation on a very hot summer days. What lacks though are hooks or towel bars in the bathroom to hang wet towels. They have other bigger pools around the villas which you can use as well including the pool in Grand Luxor Hotel Their minimarket is a very small convenience store which sells some drinks, ice cream, toiletries that you forgot to bring etc. There is also a small cafe where you can order pizza and sandwiches. The villas also has a small playground for young kids. You need a car to get here as this is not in the center of Benidorm. This is near the theme park Terra Mitica. But then, these villas are in a secure and private area. Security is checked when going in the compound and security cameras around the villas. Parking is free but is not covered unlike the hotel which has a garage parking. Breakfast was great, in a restaurant in front of the villas. It’s a 5 min walk to the restaurant as well as the entrance to Terra Mitica. Guests of Grand Luxor hotel and villas can enjoy Terra Mitica, Aqualandia and Mundo Mar for free. I would definitely recommend this hotel. We love the service and the amenities. Dont forget to bring mosquito repellant as there are mosquitos during summer nights in Spain.

We stayed in a pool villa as a family. The villas are lovely and clean and the rooms were cleaned every day and pool kept clean. There is a play area and small shop and breakfast at the theme park 5 mins away was a good selection for all with fruit cereals hot savoury and hot waffles. You can use facilities at the hotel 10 mins away where the entertainment was enjoyed by the children who loved the talent shows. All staff were really helpful. Great holiday

We have just returned from a four night stay in the village. We stayed in a 3 bed villa(more like chalet) with a small private pool. The kitchen was basic, no oven and a very temperamental hob. This was an issue as the only other option to eat on site was a grossly over priced buffet, 33 e for adults, 20e for kids. This did not include drinks. There was a snack bar minimarket in the village itself serving fast food/beer but no outdoor seating or atmosphere. The lady working here was lovely and needs a special mention. Car essential due to absolutely nothing to do at night and very limited eating options. This was a big negative as hubbie could not have a drink with his meal. Overall it was a pleasant enough stay but the lack of entertainment and limited food options really took from the holiday. If these issues could be addressed it would be a lovely place to stay, good location and nice pools but wouldn't return again at present rate of service.

Very poor all around and never a 4* hotel. Charged 10 euro for 45 mins late checkout. So poor. No water in rooms and tea making facilities a joke. Overall a really bad place to stay. One good thing was the location. Needs a whole new outlook on how to look after clients. I won’t be visiting here again for sure.

Great hotel. Room, food and service

Es un camping 5 estrellas para las familias que quieran hacerse la comida, tener una mobile-home de lujo y estar perdidos en la nada. Las instalaciones son insuficientes a mi parecer porque la piscina que tienes junto a tu alojamiento se queda pequeño si el complejo hotelero se llena. El restaurante y la piscina grande están alejados del hotel u tienes que caminar bastante para llegar. No hay instalaciones deportivas de ningún tipo. Nosotros fuimos al hotel Luxor y luego a este, y no hay punto de comparación. El restaurante de las Villas es desastroso. Pagar una media pensión aquí es tirar el dinero porque la cena no llega ni a categoría de 3 estrellas. Comida recalentada, 2 pescados, cordero y cerdo, mucho frito y poco más. Ni punto de comparación con el hotel Luxor o con un 4 estrellas. El desayuno bien, dentro de su categoría. Me gustaría mencionar también que el personal no está muy controlado y hacen lo que quieren. No veo muy normal que la encargada de las limpiadoras se tenga que pasar la mañana paseándose con otro chico que conduce un bugy toda la mañana. Jamás he visto nunca que una gobernanta de hotel lleve chofer. Mucho cachondeo pero poco resultado veo yo. Nosotros no creo que volvamos.

Fenomenal! Hemos pasado 6 días maravillosos,todo muy limpio,los empleados encantadores y los chicos de la animación de 10. El único inconveniente mejorable sería que fomentarán más la animación y los espectáculos nocturnos ya que están como retirados y no hay mucha información de lo que hacen cada noche. Sin duda esperamos volver el verano que viene.
