"Only giving a one as the staff were the only decent part about it. Came as a group of 12 for a weekend away. The hotel is dirty, tired and nothing atall like the pictures they advertised. Knew is out of the main area that was OK. Arrived on an early morning flight but were told we couldn't check in until 5pm. The pool was vile had a layer of scum on the top. Prices different every time you went to the bar. Ants in the room. Our shower was smashed in and the sink. Food left in the fridge from previous people. Everyones deposit was short even though the rooms were left as we found them....DONT DO IT! "

Hotel Caballo de Oro

"Just got back from a 3 night stay Was travelling solo so wanted to make sure a was going to be safe. Check in on arrival was quick was on the 7th floor overlooking Tommy's bar which does bingo and 2 for 1 drinks Room was very clean but a bit dated but that was no problem Had a TV with a few English channels as this hotel Caters more for the Spanish which is not a problem at all Rooms have baths and showers and the showers were the best IV ever used in any hotel. Beds are comfy with Maid service everyday. Got told you had to hire a fridge but was already one in my room when I arrived Aircon was a must due to the extreme heat over but they were also radiators Only cost me a extra €20 to up grade from B&B to full board Breakfast lunch and dinner were standard but catered for Spanish etc which again I don't mind your in Spain. Bottles of water €1 bottle of wine started from €4 Pool area is big and clean with more than enough sunbeds tables and chairs Only downside was the lifts only 2 which room forever especially round meal times so I must of lost a few 1lbs going up and down. They is also a big bar area with lots of seating I am fussy and I would go again they say you get what you pay for and this 2 me was a bargain They is also a slight incline if you have disability issues They are also safes to hire and hairdryers in bathroom "

"Cannot fault this place spent 3 weeks here it was perfect the 2 staff on reception could not help enough with any problems the cleaning staff were spot on mercadonna supermarkets next door I will definitely book again next year thank-you too all at the apartment 😀"

Hotel Marconi

"The hotel it self is without a doubt a perfect position. The Receptionist seemed harassed and took our cases into the back room as our rooms were not available to check in until 4pm. We checked in around 5.30pm and was asked to pay the bill, I questioned the amount as it was only one night and we were staying two, however, they had already taken one nights stay and no receipt to give me...strange. The room was clean and spacious and we were lucky to have a corner room our balcony was so much larger. Although, I was disappointed to find that the bathroom bin had not been emptied from the previous guest, this I took down and gave to reception. We were on a Bed and Breakfast rate which was reasonable and comparative to other hotels. The hotel does offer a evening buffet, so as we were late returning to the hotel after meeting with friends we thought we could eat in the buffet before retiring to our room. We arrived at the buffet at 9.20pm, the looks we had from the waitress could kill, we were told we could enter but as we were not on the half board rate we would have to pay....thats not a problem, we were let in....after viewing what was left on the buffet we should have walked out, but it was becoming late and we needed to eat, so we sat down and helped our selves to a plate of salad, some dry pieces of pizza and some very dry pasta, thats all there was. To make matters worse, on departure of the restaurant, we were presented with a bill of 30 euros, apparently, its an "all you can eat" buffet at 15 euros a head. When I questioned this, I did say "did you see what we ate"? The restaurant manager just said its 30 euros and I only work here! Had she told us that the restaurant closes at 10pm and that it is an "all you can eat" buffet.....definitely after seeing what there was.....we would have left......lesson learnt. Although I think it marred our stay at the Marconi. The hotel is good, however, the staff in the restaurant (evening) were rude and you could tell they wanted to go home. The rest of the staff were pleasant and the breakfast staff unbelievably helpful."

Poseidon Resort

"The total decadence. We have seen the decline of this hotel year after year. We have been coming for 10 years and, although it has never been a panacea, the deterioration is already unacceptable. Not because of the facilities, but because of the bad service and the terrible attention. Except for the dining room waitresses (not all of them) and the bar waiters (all fantastic), the attention at reception and maitres is deplorable. Entertainment, a key element in the choice of many families, is non-existent and aimed exclusively at the elderly, who already make up more than 90% of the guests. Special mention to “Inma”, a receptionist with a bad manners that borders on the embarrassing. In short, cheap is expensive and we must say goodbye forever to this hotel, which had the potential to position itself as a great resort but has remained a third-rate hostel."

"Everything was fine; we checked into our room before 4 pm. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was good, but you have to keep an eye on the plates and cups as some weren't properly cleaned."

Hotel Lido

"This was only a nights stay before go to our other hotel to which i am glad because if I would have had 10 days here I would have cried and gone home. No staff to help, the stairs ways were mucky and the pool was nice and the ladders were not fixed properly and I sliced my foot on them and staff wasn't bothered never asked if ok or came to see me at the pool. Food was awful apart from the ice cream, I had reservations eating the food lack of hygiene was a big no no. The smell round the pool was dreadful which was the drainage and all the steps up from the pool were broken. One positive is bed was comfy. I would not recommend this hotel at all I can't wait to leave."

Hotel Brasil

"Hotel was perfect. Found our room very clean. has a small fridge in there perfect for cold drinks. Hairdryer, shampoo and shower gel all in the bathroom so no need to bring with you. Location is a short walk to the beach and plenty of shops close by. Our rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels. Great value. We are thinking about coming back in September and would definitely stay at this hotel again."
