Don't listen to the other reviews too closely. I had VERY low expectations for this place after reading many of them. Immediately after checking in and exploring my mind was changed. While this resort is smaller than many other all inclusive, it's still a great size! The restaurants were nice, the service of EVERY staff member was fantastic, and the room was lovely. No, there isn't much of a beach, but we made the best of it with morning and evening walks along the water. We even spent some time laying on the loungers down there with wine. However, if you're looking for somewhere for your kids to play in the sand all day and swim in the ocean, this might not be the ideal place. The daily entertainment was ACTUAL entertainment. We had a great time with both day and night activities. The spa is AMAZING! I highly recommend getting a massage while you're there. The cabana crew was excellent. They more than anticipated when we would need another drink or would need food. I don't think our drinks were ever empty and one of the days we were certainly in party mode. The restaurants, while not as elaborate as other resorts, were nice as well. I particularly enjoyed Balisk. We got to dine outside on a lovely evening and the food was delicious. We enjoyed each meal. The room service is pretty basic and simple, but we didn't lean on that too much. All in all you're getting MORE than you pay for with this place. So if you're looking for a decent resort at low cost, this is a winner in my mind. I'll probably return.

Beahtiful hotel. Awesome services. Everyone is outstanding at what they do. Lucy, the front desk, the chaya team and the malpeque team. Guadalupe our housekeeper really did an awesome job taking care of the room. Lucy was our personal conceirge during our honeymoon and she made sure our stay was outstanding and cared for the small details. The snorkeling activity is awesome, we had a great time. Overall great trip and looking forward to coming back

Our second trip here, it always exceeds expectations. The food was amazing, the accommodations wonderful, and the service was next level. Shout out to Santiago on the Preferred Beach and Santos at the Seaside Grill for breakfast.we will definitely be coming back, as our daughter has decided she wants to get married here.

**PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS BEFORE MAKING RESERVATIONS** I’m not even sure where to begin regarding this NIGHTMARE that was supposed to be a family vacation. The Palace in Cancun is absolutely HORRIBLE! Very rarely do I take the time to review things outside of the rarities that are absolutely TREMENDOUS or absolutely HORRENDOUS, but I’d be doing a disservice to those of us who work hard to gather the funds for their vacation if I didn’t share my story. So…where do I even begin? Should I start with the “complimentary” transpiration to the resort from the airport? Sure. As soon as we got outside we found our way those that were related to the resort for transportation. They tried to tell me that my family’s included transportation could not be found, but that we could join those that were on the shuttle if we paid a small fee. Absolutely NOT! I refused to do so, and, after demanding that I see the list that he had and FINDING our names clearly listed, they somehow made a call and magically found the required information. Interesting, huh? So we arrive at the resort. Initial impression from walking into the lobby? Beautiful! Roses and drinks at the front door! Awesome, right? Well…those quickly turned into items to amend the upcoming failures that should’ve/could’ve been easily avoided in ANY other resort. We go to check in and all of a sudden the $5,800 that I’d paid on my card TWO months beforehand could not be found, so they needed to charge me for the full price a SECOND time and tell me that they’ll begin the “process” to return my initial payment. Yup…within 15 minutes of arriving, I’ve already fully paid a second time and am down over $11,000 for the “vacation.” We settle down and the first thing that we do is hop into the pool outside of our room. We obviously needed to use towels to dry off with afterwards, so we used those that were available. No problem, right? WRONG! We needed more simple towels the next morning and called housekeeping. We were told that they’d be on the way. 20 mins goes by…no one shows up and we call again. “They’re coming.” 30 mins go by and we finally see a housemaid WITH a cart coming down the hallway but…guess what…NO towels on the cart! We call housekeeping a THIRD time…we’ll send someone right now. After just under 2 hours, 4 simple towels were delivered to the room. Towels, people….. simple towels… Onto the Day 2 tour that their “salespeople” pitch at you in hope of getting your signature for a membership. We (along with tons of other guests) initially only went since we’d be guaranteed credit to be utilized at the resort for doing so. I immediately told the salesperson of my disappointment for something as small as towels… he says “so I guess you’ve already decided that you’re not going to sign?” before he clearly had no more of that excitement in him to show us around. The grand at the moon palace is absolutely amazing as always. After 2021 the quality continues to go up and up and we are never left disappointed by service quality. We are adults so we spend most of our pool time at the unique day club this time we had Juan and Jesus as our main waiters. They are by far the best we have ever had (we are at 10+ trips and members). Juan and Jesus remembers our names and drinks we like day in and day out and that I have food allergies when I order lunch. As always the resort does an amazing job with food allergies, at every restaurant they will ask if I need anything specially prepared away from the rest or the food to reduce cross contamination. They also have lactose free ice cream and sorbet you just have to ask for it at the little coffee shop 2 things to note for the resort we upgraded our membership a few trips ago and it would have been nice not to get a sales pitch when we arrived to upgrade again. But with that said the membership is definitely worth it. Also being here so many times the restaurants have not changed their menus in quite some time which would be nice as we come every 6-12 months multiple times a year. If you are looking for 5 star resort, that is nice and clean, has massive rooms, great service and food this place is for you! Also if you have food allergies you can meet with the chef to talk through them as well.

The facility is very well equipped and we had so much to do. Personally, I spent a lot of time at the pool and in front of the beach, but also spent time practicing tennis, went to gym, to balance the good amount of eating and drinking there. There’s also a pool table (although I feel it needs better equipment), a club, a cafe, a healthy eating cafe and so much more. We had a good time overall
