Beahtiful hotel. Awesome services. Everyone is outstanding at what they do. Lucy, the front desk, the chaya team and the malpeque team. Guadalupe our housekeeper really did an awesome job taking care of the room. Lucy was our personal conceirge during our honeymoon and she made sure our stay was outstanding and cared for the small details. The snorkeling activity is awesome, we had a great time. Overall great trip and looking forward to coming back

**PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS BEFORE MAKING RESERVATIONS** I’m not even sure where to begin regarding this NIGHTMARE that was supposed to be a family vacation. The Palace in Cancun is absolutely HORRIBLE! Very rarely do I take the time to review things outside of the rarities that are absolutely TREMENDOUS or absolutely HORRENDOUS, but I’d be doing a disservice to those of us who work hard to gather the funds for their vacation if I didn’t share my story. So…where do I even begin? Should I start with the “complimentary” transpiration to the resort from the airport? Sure. As soon as we got outside we found our way those that were related to the resort for transportation. They tried to tell me that my family’s included transportation could not be found, but that we could join those that were on the shuttle if we paid a small fee. Absolutely NOT! I refused to do so, and, after demanding that I see the list that he had and FINDING our names clearly listed, they somehow made a call and magically found the required information. Interesting, huh? So we arrive at the resort. Initial impression from walking into the lobby? Beautiful! Roses and drinks at the front door! Awesome, right? Well…those quickly turned into items to amend the upcoming failures that should’ve/could’ve been easily avoided in ANY other resort. We go to check in and all of a sudden the $5,800 that I’d paid on my card TWO months beforehand could not be found, so they needed to charge me for the full price a SECOND time and tell me that they’ll begin the “process” to return my initial payment. Yup…within 15 minutes of arriving, I’ve already fully paid a second time and am down over $11,000 for the “vacation.” We settle down and the first thing that we do is hop into the pool outside of our room. We obviously needed to use towels to dry off with afterwards, so we used those that were available. No problem, right? WRONG! We needed more simple towels the next morning and called housekeeping. We were told that they’d be on the way. 20 mins goes by…no one shows up and we call again. “They’re coming.” 30 mins go by and we finally see a housemaid WITH a cart coming down the hallway but…guess what…NO towels on the cart! We call housekeeping a THIRD time…we’ll send someone right now. After just under 2 hours, 4 simple towels were delivered to the room. Towels, people….. simple towels… Onto the Day 2 tour that their “salespeople” pitch at you in hope of getting your signature for a membership. We (along with tons of other guests) initially only went since we’d be guaranteed credit to be utilized at the resort for doing so. I immediately told the salesperson of my disappointment for something as small as towels… he says “so I guess you’ve already decided that you’re not going to sign?” before he clearly had no more of that excitement in him to show us around. Every time I look back on my holi, I think of the hotel and how much I enjoyed staying here, & that I’m so glad we did as at first we weren’t sure as it’s not adults only. I remember the lovely scent when you walk in, cleanliness 10/10, interior is goals, my favourite was lunch time as there’s different food trucks from tacos, burger & chips, ceviche… Some days in the lobby they’ll also put out selection of biscuits/sweet treats to have with a hot drink. The breakfast buffet also amazing!!! I miss having their freshly cooked omelettes & the hashbrowns. They even have an ice cream bar. Quite honestly just enjoyed myself eating. We stumbled across a show once in the hotel as were waiting for a dinner table, took us by surprise as it was so good the entertainers.

Our second trip here, it always exceeds expectations. The food was amazing, the accommodations wonderful, and the service was next level. Shout out to Santiago on the Preferred Beach and Santos at the Seaside Grill for breakfast.we will definitely be coming back, as our daughter has decided she wants to get married here.

Mucho lujo, muy padre, no tiene estacionamiento, dejas tu auto en la calle, los platos no estaban bien lavados, el uso de velero es gratis, pero te cobran 200 pesos por impuesto ambiental y te dan un brazalete que dice que son 58 pesos por este impuesto y no les dan brazaletes a todos, alguien hace negocio ahí, luego los rios dicen en los anuncios que se ceierran a las 7, pero el personal te saca a las 6, y la atracción principal del parque acuático no sirve, aún así volvería, la comida en el restaurante brasileño es muy bueno, mejor que en el oriental que es el único que hay que reservar.

Great place to vacation overall! It was a little rough at first since we moved rooms 3 times within the first day and a half. First room had AC issues and a massive leak in the ceiling that soaked the entire floor while we were at dinner. The second room also had AC issues and wouldn't get below 77 degrees Fahrenheit. We suffered through that the first night since we were so tired from dealing with the leak in the other room. However, the third room was absolutely great and the trip improved drastically from there. I will say the staff in the preferred lounge was extremely attentive and happy to assist with any issue we presented them, expediently, so that helped. The resort has a good variety of food places/options. We loved Picante the most, eating there twice and getting the same thing: Surf and Turf and the fajitas. Our least favorite was The ***** Grill. The ribeye and desserts just weren't that good in our opinion. Maybe their other food was better though. We wouldn't know because we never went back. Luis, the bartender in the Preferred lounge, was easily the best part of the trip. First off, he is very knowledgeable and excellent at his job. Secondly, his energy is infectious and it's almost impossible not to laugh and have a good time with him behind the bar. All of our interactions and conversations were great and memorable. We found ourselves daily at the pool anxiously waiting for his shift to start. Anyways, once we made it past the rough start, we had a wonderful time at this resort. I would definitely recommend going and we will likely be back, hopefully sooner rather than later.
