Прекрасный отель, хоть и не новый, океан виден со всей территории и номеров) вкусные завтраки и улыбчивый персонал! В номере было все необходимое. Видели 1 раз таракана в номере, но это нормально для такой страны и климата… было конечно не приятно и хорошо, что мы уже уезжали на экскурсию 😄

We come to SL to visit family every couple of years and have come to this hotel a number of times. It recently changed ownership and we were delighted to find the character of the place unchanged. Bawa’s original design is fully respected with many of the wonderful staff staying on after the change. The food is always great and the staff are top notch. We will always return here when we come.

Thaala Benthota.. you beauty Amazing experience from start to the end. Specially very unique welcome that we experienced by lighting the oil lamp. Thank you Yohan for the great support throughout and special thanking goes to Thasmi by hosting us to till the room by explaining the all the facilities and services that hotel has. Also looked after us till we checked out. Lovely food. Great stuff. Also special thanking goes to Promodaya and Mendis giving us best service at the restaurant. We shall come back soon. Cheers !!!

We stayed in the hotel for three nights after an 11-day roundtrip. The hotel itself is very nice and the location is beautiful! The staff was quite friendly, however, less so than in the other hotels we stayed at during our trip. Prices for food and drinks were also higher than in all the other hotels (which were of the same standard). The total no-go: We were asked to go to the reception, have a seat, and write a five-star review (the five stars were even pressed for us) while a staff member was standing behind us and watching what we were writing.

It was a lovely hotel and the staff too. We asked if we could Move rooms and with no hesitation they accommodated our request . I would highly recommend staying here .The restaurant food was really good - nothing was too much trouble for any member of staff. The ground and maintenance staff were always on hand to put towels on our beds, bring drinks etc. wonderful time at Thaala.

Very helpful staff in a beautiful location. Our first room was not suitable because of stairs and they very quickly transferredus to a much better room. Food was good and wildlife. An excellent t five night stay. A local New Year party on the last night made for long bu fun evening.

"Had a wonderful stay! The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel is right up to the beach. They have a good kiddies pool as well. Breakfast was delicious with a good local and continental spread. Looking forward to returning with the family.
