Hotel 4 bintang Berchtesgaden yang Popular

I really find it weird to be met by a receptionist with her breasts pushed up into my face. I know it’s a alpen Hotel and she was wearing a national costume, but … If you order room service you are charged 8€ in bring up fee. Compared to other hotels I have visited, the price is double and this hotel is a small hotel so the distance is short to the rooms. A 5 star hotel in Cyprus it is actually free of charge. The hotel is in general nice but old. It seems to be maintained, but anyway the shower head wasn’t descaled. The staff is nice, but nevertheless appear confused, probably because English is not native. Parking conditions are critical. It is almost impossible to get a space and if you do get one, your car is parked so close, so if you avoid bumps you are lucky.

This is one of my favourite parts of Germany, and this hotel was a good place to stay. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, and the reception and common areas were modern (although Bavarian in nature) and clean. There was a decent amount of parking, although the car park at the back was very tight to move the car around... but we managed, despite having a large hire vehicle. The rooms we had were really good, and we had a balcony overlooking the majestic Bavarian scenery. We enjoyed a really good breakfast here. Loads and loads of choice, and quality ingredients. Certainly no complaints from anyone in our family. For evening meals, the town centre is not far away - less than ten minutes on foot (although it is up a slight slope to get there). In terms of access, the beautiul Koenigssee is less than ten minutes by car. Other nearby villages as worth a visit, too. Easy enough to get to Salzburg in neighbouring Austria (by train or car), as well as historical sites such as the so-called Eagle's Nest, there is so much to do here and the hotel acts as a perfect base. Would we stay here again if in Berchtesgaden... without a doubt.

The property is located at very(!) mountainous terrain, it is really tough to get there by foot , and carrying luggage is making it really painful. Note: there is no any Uber-like service in the city (not related to the property itself, just general comment). We got a room in the basement floor and it was a bit cold inside (may). Cleaning is on demand (you have to ask for it at the reception or put a sign on the door. Staff warns you about it in advance). I had some issues with drying my towel as there was no any heater in the room. No issues with hot water, the bed was a bit firm to me but thats okay. Breakfast is okay-ish (typical austrian / german, eggs , bread, butter and some cold cuts, yogurt and juice is also available). Coffee was great. Personnel is very friendly and helpful.

Amazing we had booked this as part of our road trip and it exceeded our expectations. Such a beautiful hotel, beds ultra comfortable,room views stunning, staff were amazing and so attentive. Concierge was so patient with our questions and kind, pool was the icing on the top loved it! One slight hiccup book dinner if the hotel is full we and others did have to eat in the bar area (shout out to Justin his service was spectacular) we were disappointed not to get into the restaurant ( possibly an extra seating should be added when hotel is fully booked) we booked for the second night tho and the meal was fabulous!! Inspite of this minor hiccup I highly highly recommend this hotel we loved it I wish I had booked another night but on the road we had to go.

The pictures in the website do not do this hotel justice. Such a lovely hotel. We stayed half board, some of the evening meals were hit and miss, but breakfast and some evening meals were lovely. Especially the swordfish. Beer is great taken in the lovely beer garden, with views over the mountains. Train and bus station across the road, with trips to most major attractions within 20 minutes of the hotel, they were quite regular and always punctual. You even get a free guest card which gives you free travel to most attractions some with discounted entry. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable, we opted for an upgrade to a balcony room, which gave great views of the mountains and the river below. All the staff gave great service, but especially Sam on reception who was amazingly helpful and always friendly - just sorry we ran out of money so I couldn’t leave him a tip, but we will definitely returning and will ensure I put something away - sorry Sam x

這個酒店環境非常不錯，房間除了浴室mini，其他都非常贊，服務也很好，一樓餐廳咖啡、熱茶、水果隨便吃，早餐一般（對於我而言）也許喜歡西餐的朋友會很享受。出門溜達很方便，國王湖水從酒店門前流過，最喜歡的就是停車免費，而且車位好停。坐在房間陽台上喝上一杯咖啡是非常舒服的。

There is a shortcut from the train station to the hotel, but it requires walking up a flight of stairs and an uphill stone path, making it impossible to walk with suitcases. If you bring suitcases, it is recommended to take a taxi to the hotel. The hotel is very old and traditional. After taking one flight of stairs in the hotel, you can take the elevator to the higher floors. The house is very spacious and the lights are very dim. It feels very dim in the room at night. There is only one electric socket at the bedside, and there is no table for placing mobile phones next to the other electric sockets, which is a bit inconvenient. The toilet and hand-washing area are in different locations, so it is a bit inconvenient to wash hands after using the toilet. The check-in staff are a bit cool, but they will always greet you. The room is spacious, you can open two large suitcases without being stressed, it is clean and quiet, and there were two small spiders in the room during the 3 nights. There is no air conditioning. It is not hot in October, so it is enough. Bathing water pressure is adequate. There is hair dryer provided.

Das Hotel ist unweit vom Salzbergwerk, Watzmanntherme und Berchtesgaden entfernt. Das Positive zuerst. Personal sehr freundlich.Das Haus obowhl schon älter ist piccobello sauber.Egal welche Uhrzeit,die Toiletten im Haus waren stets sehr sauber.Genauso die Zimmer. Frühstück war sehr gut und reichhaltig. Nur die aufgetauten Brötchen waren wie Gummi,aber auf dem Toaster aufgebacken gut. S*****en,versch.Wurst , Käse,Eier, Rührei, Weißwürste,Wienerle,verschiedene Brotsorten,Marmeladen,Obst Joghurt, Müsli, Kuchen etc Service sehr gut besonders Karl,der Mann schmeißt das Frühstück fast alleine,auch am Abend unheimlich flink. Solches Personal ist sehr rarAuch Martin war sehr erfrischend und unterhaltsam. Doch leider war die Essenqualität nicht so toll.Salatbueffet war gut. Aber das abendliche Essen ist leider keine Hotelqualität sondern eher Kantinenessen. Schnitzel dünn und trocken und fest. Zu lange gegart und warmgehalten. Die Bifteki Convinience den Käse musste man erahnen.Hier hätte ich mir frische Frikadellen. gewünscht .Geschmack nicht gut. Gemüse lauwarm. Nur einmal war es geschmacklich gut. Geschnetzeltes in Pilzrahm. Nur leider Fleisch TK Maschinenschnitt. Ich hatte sechs kleine Streifen Fleisch ca.100g roh und acht Champignons. Schade geschmacklich war das in der Woche das einzige Highlight. Ich kann die guten Essenkritiken nicht nachvollziehen. Na ja,so wie man es gewohnt ist.Ich liebe gutes Essen.Muss kein Filet sein,auch Pfannkuchen,Frikadellen Gulasch etc.nur muss es gut sein. Da sollte sich das Management Gedanken machen. Ich bin Koch von Beruf und kann gut Convinience von frischer Ware unterscheiden. Das Schwimmbadwasser ist leider zu kalt. Das Haus hat Kegelbahn,Sauna einen großen Biergarten. Leider kann man sich im Hotel nicht verweilen,da kein Mittagstisch angeboten wird.Also muss man mittags auswärts essen. Ansonsten war das Hotel in Ordnung. Auch die Rezeptionsmitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich.

We stayed one night at the Alpenresidenz Buchenhöhe in Berchtesgaden with our two young children after a long drive from Strasbourg. We found the rooms clean, spacious and functional for our short one-night stay in the breathtaking Alpine region of Berchtesgaden. The views from our room were beautiful and it felt refreshing to take in the clean and crisp air after our previous city stay. Breakfast was varied and adequate (but for the over salted savory food which was unpleasant). We enjoyed the fruit and our children, the local pancakes! Our experience was somewhat sullied by the lack of hot water in our rooms (which seemed to take about 30 mins to heat up as only one out of the four of us managed to enjoy some hot water). We immediately flagged the issue to the gentleman at check in on arrival. He was apologetic and did the best he could to fix the issue, albeit temporarily (and for one person). Unfortunately, we ran into the same problem the next morning. What shocked us the most however was the unfriendly and rigid response of the lady at the reception when we asked for a monetary gesture for the inconvenience on checking out. Her initial reaction was one of scepticism (as if we were making the story up) followed by an abrupt ”we do not give discounts here” and ”oh but everyone at the residence is showering at the same time”. We value client service as much as comfort and having travelled extensively around the world, we find that the customer experience can completely transform someone's stay, regardless of the class of the hotel or residence. For completeness, we note that when we did pay the bill, a 10% discount had been applied. It is only a shame that a customer was made to feel bad before such a gesture was extended to us. It is the little things (such as a smile or an apology) that go a long way. The lady in question may well benefit from upskilling in customer service.
