The showers shut off after only 15 seconds making it very annoying to shower. The breakfast is not included which I didn't know beforehand when two other hostels around the same price range included it. Personel were friendly, but took a long time helping me

I had a really positive stay at Gardiner House Hostel — a clean, friendly, and well-located choice for budget travellers in Dublin.
📍 Location
The location is excellent — just a short walk from major bus stops, shops, cafés, and walking distance to many central Dublin attractions like Temple Bar, Trinity College, and the Liffey bridges. It made exploring the city super convenient without having to rely on public transport.
🛏 Accommodation & Rooms
The rooms were tidy and functional with adequate storage space. Beds were comfortable for a hostel stay, and the linens were fresh. Shared bathroom facilities were kept clean throughout my visit.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Considering Dublin can be expensive, Gardiner House Hostel offers excellent value — affordable, clean, and centrally located.

Great location. Next to the bus stop and walkable to most tourist sites.
Highly equipped kitchen with lots of pantry and fridge storage. There is a kitchen curfew though.
Very clean. Noticed cleaners everyday doing their task.

My stay at Clink i Lár was amazing! I would rate it 4/5. We booked an 8-bed room, and there was enough space in the lockers provided for our belongings. The hostel was also clean and comfortable throughout our stay.
One thing I noticed, though, was that the shower room didn’t have hooks where guests could hang their towels or clothes while showering. It would also be nice if they added a small rug or bath mat outside the shower area so guests could wipe their feet after showering.
Overall, our stay was awesome, and I highly recommend this hostel for solo travelers! I even made two new friends during our stay, which made the experience more memorable. There’s also a Japanese restaurant right next to the hostel that was super delicious. The tram station is conveniently located beside the building, and most of the places I wanted to visit in Dublin were within walking distance. Plus, having a SPAR convenience store beside the hostel made everything even more convenient.

A lovely stay. Very friendly staff and comfy bed. Some issues with cleanliness (bathroom tiles are broken and damp behind them, dirty carpet). But there was coffee machine provided, nice shower and it is an easy walk into the centre.

I so much loved the lodge, it was so very clean, the location was so easy as it is just few minutes walk from the Dublin city center, the most amazing part is that the airport bus 41 stops right in front ot the Abbott Lodge so using google map is also very easy. The service is top notch and the reception is 247. Room so clean and the bed is big even with extra bed for kids.

KKloiaI only have this one photo, but overall I had a good experience with the accommodation.
One of the best things about this place is the privacy. Each bed has curtains, so you don’t really have to worry about people seeing you. It made changing clothes very convenient, and I rarely had to make eye contact with others, which is perfect if you’re more introverted.
There’s also a light inside the bed area, so you can read before going to sleep, and hooks for hanging clothes, which was useful for items I wore often. In addition, there are personal lockers that can only be opened with a code, which felt secure. The bathroom was also relatively clean.
However, the overall quality really depends on the people you end up sharing the space with. It was a bit disappointing to see how much the experience can vary. One night, I heard some strange noises from other guests, which made me feel quite uncomfortable and a bit scared.
If you’re lucky with the people around you, this place can be very satisfying. My first night was great, but the second night was not as pleasant due to some inconsiderate behavior from other guests.

EemijuanbuffaThe position of the hostel was great! So close to everything. The staff so gentle and helpful everytime. The place was good, clean, the room ok, spacious. The space at the kitchen was perfect if you wanted to be there at some point of the day, also it was a great thing to have a hot water disposal available. Would be nice maybe to add a microwave oven and a fridge to put guests food, specially when you stay few days. The rest was really good, i would like to come back.

GGuest UserGreat experience. The room was clean and smells good when we arrived. They provided the toiletries, utensils, and they have washing machine, tumble dryer, water kettle, and microwave. They have almost what you need. They are very accommodating, and responsive. The location wasn’t too far from all places that we went. We’ll recommend this hotel.

GGuest UserThe hotel is right next to a bar that plays music and has live bands until 2.30am. Our room was on the first floor the side of this, it was not good after a long travel day. The hotel itself was a good location and clean, if you’re going for nightlife I recommend, if you’re going for day drinking and a good nights sleep steer clear!

GGuest UserReally helpful and understandable staff. Gave me a hand with the heavy luggage upstairs. Though the Trip booking made a mistake, the staff gave me a well welcome, especially in the late night arriving. By the way, the shelf by the bunk do need to be cleaned since it was with lots of dust.

MmaymayThe location is really convenient. I have stayed in female rooms for 4 people and 10 people. The bathroom is inside the room which is very convenient.
Just next to the Banfen Bridge, the airport bus, Dart train station, Holy Trinity, and Tesco are nearby! It's simply super convenient.
The bar street is a bit noisy at the back, but it doesn't matter anymore
The kitchen is so convenient and convenient for cooking! Would stay again and recommend to others!
