Hotel berhampiran Parrocchia dei Santi Pietro e Alessandro, Bergamo

This hotel was our most expensive but most disappointing. Both nights (different rooms) were very noisy til the early hours of the morning. Although I had requested vegan options for breakfast there was only tomatoes & lettuce as savoury options. I asked on the first day for something the next but still no change. We also requested twin beds but on the first night had a double bed. On the positive side most staff were very good particularly Confort on reception.

Reception very friendly,although there was an error regarding breakfast payment. Room very clean, very functional with comfortable bed. Breakfast excellent. Only concern was walking from Station through quite intimidating area. I would not recommend anyone on their own to walk the route except in daytime. Some people could have sleep disturbed by train noise but I wasn't. Picture from bedroom.

Se siete amanti degli alberghi ultramoderni e asettici, evitate questo. E' senz'altro vecchio stile e alcune cose vanno rinnovate (come la moquette), ma se sceglierete un altra sistemazione, perderete la possibilità di toccare con mano cosa significa accoglienza. Premesso che a me piacciono i locali ”con una storia”, ho adorato gli spazi comuni, la hall in particolare, con il suo stile ”d'epoca” e tutta la storia che racconta su Garibaldi e la sua impresa. Il personale è gentile, premuroso e davvero accogliente (dai receptionist al personale di sala e la signora addetta alle camere). Le stanze hanno senz'altro bisogno di qualche rinnovamento (che spero però verrà effettuato non snaturando lo stile dell'Hotel), ma sono confortevoli e molto pulite (noi ne abbiamo occupate tre, quindi ho potuto verificare quanto dico). Ultimo punto a favore di questo Hotel, la colazione inclusa, ormai non scontata...e che colazione! Ricca, varia, dal dolce al salato, ci sono veramente proposte per tutti i gusti e le abitudini. Complimenti davvero a tutto lo staff. Se torneremo a Bergamo, non c'è dubbio che passeremo qui.

(scroll down for English) Prenotazione cancellata a 48 ore dall'arrivo senza spiegazioni, hanno proposto alternativa inadeguata (2 letti invece di 3) e quando abbiamo rifiutato, ci hanno detto di cancellare tramite Expedia. Se l'avessimo fatto, avrebbero intascato il pagamento; fortunatamente Expedia ha trovato altra sistemazione. Abbiamo poi controllato, a quell'indirizzo c'è un portone non senza targa o citofono che faccia pensare che la struttura esista davvero. Il sito è in costruzione. Esistono altri Bergamo inn con ottime recensioni (e sito funzionante), probabilmente usano un nome simile per trarre in inganno. Booking was canceled 48h before arrival, without explanation. We were offered an unsuitable room elsewhere (2 beds instead of 3). We turned it down, and they instructed us to cancel the booking via Expedia. If we had done that, they would have kept the payment! Thankfully Expedia found us another accommodation. We then passed by the stated address, and there's nothing to indicate that there actually is a hotel/B&B. The website is under construction. Most likely they use the name ”Bergamo inn” to trick people into believing they are linked to other successful hotels by that name.

Suite à ma réservation pour 4 jours dans cette hôtel avec 2 enfants dans une chambre triple Donc arrive vers 17 heures. Nous voulions prendre une douche avant d'aller au restaurant. L'eau était froide donc signaler à la réception donc il devait voir le problème le lendemain. Le lendemain le problème devais être réglé mais non la température était comme cela froid. La femme de mangé et venu voir. Elle a bien dit que l'eau était à cette température et cela devez être dure pour les enfants de prendre leur douche. Donc nous sommes restés 4 jours avec le problème. Lors du payement des 4 jours je lui demande de faire un prix pour la contrainte de ce problème. Pour la responsable et même la femme de ménage qui fut de mauvaise fois quand on lui a demandé la constatation quelle à fait sur la température de l'eau. Donc il fut pendant les 4 jours très antipathique et le petit-déjeuner très simple croissant brûle car il les remettais ce du jour d'avant passer dans le four. Il n'y avait plus de biscuits et il n'eut remettais plus rien. Ce qui m'a vraiment déçu dans cette hôtel la mauvaise fois des personne et leur manque de sympathie pour leur client il ont oublié qui leur paye leur salaire. C'est bien le client. Vraiment très déçu et je vais régulièrement danc cette région de Bergame

I chose this hotel as it was close to the airport, as I was going to have a flight in the morning, but also based on the reviews! I don't regret the decision made, the hotel is wonderful, nicely arranged and the owner is exceptional! Mr. Carlo, the owner took excellent care of my transfer from the airport, thanks also to Nicola. Too bad I couldn't have breakfast, but for sure when I come back to Bergamo this will be the place where I stay! In the room there is a bar equipped with everything you need and also a coffee and tea machine! Thank you again !

Professional staff who speak multiple languages. I booked in due to late flight, airport shuttle service was brilliant, felt safe and breakfast was decent

Tutto il personale s'impegna, è cordiale e disponibile (proprietario, compagna e 3 figli minorenni), oltre a due addette alle pulizie ed alle camere. Struttura ai piani vetusta. In molte camere mancano supporti di sicurezza. Non sono garantite attività dichiarate in fase di prenotazione. Ottima la presenza di infermiera e operatrice socio sanitaria per assistenza a persone anziane. Località misera di attrattive. Posizione hotel disagevole per persone anziane o con problemi di deambulazione. L'erogazione dei servizi di ristorazione molto discutibile e votata al risparmio assoluto di tempo e denaro, senza rispettare i tempi degli ospiti.
