Hotel 2 Bintang di Bethlehem

We stayed here to go to the Christmas market at the Steel Stacks. It was very convenient. We were able to walk. We had a large room, with a king bed & a sofa that had seen better days. The pillows were small but the sheets were clean & soft. I would have liked more blankets. The sink is sort of in the room, like a wet bar. The shower & the toilet are in another room. The shower is huge but slippery. There’s a small rainwater showerhead & plenty of very hot water. They gave us plenty of towels. Even though the hotel was crowded for the holiday & they were hosting a party sleep was quiet. In the elevator I had overheard other guests complaining about their noisy neighbors. We had a peaceful night. Every employee I encountered seemed burned out / overwhelmed. They were quick with a gracious smile when they realized a hotel guest was in their vicinity, indicating a level of professionalism. It was just sad. I could never put my finger on it but there was a sad pallor throughout the place. Breakfast was included. This was probably one of the best free hotel breakfasts I have had since Covid: juice, coffee / tea, pastries, cheesy egg omelets (probably frozen & heated up but it was warm), lots of bacon & a make your own waffle station. Additions were brought out at 9:30 a.m. even though breakfast ended at 10. I never felt pushed out. The meal is served in the Hill to Hill bar off the lobby which looks more like a breakfast place then a bar, although the dark cherry bar back is gorgeous. There’s a Perkins across the street. Behind the property up the block there is a Dunkin Donuts, a CVS, a Wendy’s and in Ideal Market grocery store

Great location, easy access to major roads and just down the street from Bethlehem ******. Staff was excellent (We had an issue with the a/c - the condenser was loud and clogged, spilling water into the carpeting. We were moved the next morning post haste and no issue whatsoever. Towel racks for drying in the bathroom (though still the typical just one hook on the back door vs a rack... why?) Good tv/wifi... but again, why can't we have a secure password/wifi? Very comfortable beds and two firm/two soft pillows each.

Adakah penginapan hotelnya hebat. Hotel ini bersih dan terkini. Semua kakitangan dan tetamu sopan. Hotel ini berada di lokasi yang bagus dan menawarkan banyak yang harus dilakukan semasa anda menginap. Ini kali kedua saya tinggal di sana dan akan tinggal di sana lagi

First and second shift always makes sure I’m taken care of, love Stacy and Roman, the house keeping always makes a point to check and make sure I’m set up. My only complaint comes with the third shift staff that works some nights, I believe their name is Sam, I’ve found him sleeping twice and have had other guests mention it to me. He’s also had attitude with me several times when I’ve walked up to the desk. But everyone else is amazing and super helpful.

Great location and the room size and cleanliness exceeded our expectations.

I do not recommend this property. The room was not clean. The desk chair and sofa had stains all over them. I did not dare open the fridgerator or the cabinets and the kitchenette for fear of what I might find. The bathroom shower had mold stains. The water pressure was very low and the shower head did not work to change the spray to a different type allowing for better pressure. All corners of the room looked like they had never been cleaned. The king bed had two small pillows and the linens looked like somebody had already slept on them. All of the lampshades in the room look like they had not been cleaned for ages. Two of the four lamps did not even work. Much of the hotel clientele look like they live here. Lots of people smoking in areas where they should not be. The hallways were filthy with linens and towels piled up at the end near housekeeping. There are no USB charging ports in the room. I had to rotate all of my technology between the one USB plug that I packed. The Wi-Fi is also a bit spotty. I did not feel very safe at this hotel. I was so thankful I was only here one night for business travel. I always read reviews before I book anywhere. However, in this instance I booked without doing so due to having to make an urgent business trip. I won’t make the same mistake again.
