What can make or break a holiday away from home? It has to be the accommodation and it’s location. Get it wrong and you spend the whole trip away counting the days down, wanting to go home again! Get it right and you don’t want to go home and count the days down to your next stay there! Aberconwy House is 100% getting it right in every way! Martin, Pippa & Marian are fantastic hosts, the accommodation is spotless with high quality well thought out fixtures & fittings. The beds are top quality providing you with a great nights sleep, the only thing to wake you is nature itself with lovely bird song or your morning alarm. The breakfast is lovely and well presented and covers all tastes including vegetarian/vegan and gluten free if required. Martin & Pippa are so knowledgeable about Snowdonia and very keen to make sure you get the most from your trip, be it hiking/walking, visiting places of interest or adventure/adrenaline activities. After a fun day out the village offers lots of nice pubs or restaurants, or you can just chill outside Aberconwy with your own bottle of wine reflecting on what a great time you are having. Very much looking forward to my return in a few months time! Aberconwy House is the real gem of Snowdonia!

Immaculately clean and comfortable rooms, beautiful location, brilliant food and awesome hosts .... A warm welcome greeted us on arrival At Aberconwy House. Our hosts Pippa,Martin and Marian made us feel very much at home. Our accommodation in the room at the side of the house with its own outside space, sitting area and lovely bathroom was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and I was reintroduced to boiled eggs with soldiers. We would certainly return and can happily recommend Aberconwy House.

On our second visit because we were so pleased with the first one. A beautiful situation and really good accommodation and service while also being an excellent centre for visiting the area - walking, cycling or by car. this visit the weather was warm and dry, the previous one was cold and wet but both were equally enjoyable.

Immaculate room and en suite, very friendly hosts, excellent breakfast, beautiful location. We want to come back soon.

Brilliant stay. The house is well maintained, comfortable and thoughtfully decorated. Nicer than the photos looked! Would recommend the front facing rooms on the second floor as the view from the bay windows is spectacular. We even had binoculars provided in our room. Everything we needed for our stay was provided. Good selection of hot drinks in our room. Fridge available to use downstairs and insulated bottles for the room so no need for the little packets of milk. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. Nothing seemed like too much trouble. They had great knowledge of the area and were able to recommend walks we hadn't found that were suitable for our preferred level of activity. Breakfast was tasty, plentiful and a good selection. Takeaway Welsh cakes were a nice touch and saved us from hunger a few times on longer walks. Thank you Martin, Pippa & Marian

We had an amazing time there. Our room had a beautiful view of the valley. Martin gave us some great hiking advice. The breakfast food was great. We had sausages made by Martin himself! Our room was cosy, clean, and comfortable. It's a great place run by a family with love.

Very welcoming hosts. Room 8 was superb, comfortable beds, large shower and plenty of space to relax. Breakfast was very tasty and plenty of it. Pancakes are the best we've ever had! Easy walking distance to the village. Would definitely visit the area again and stay here!

We liked absolutely everything !!! It was our 2nd visit to that amazing 5* Guest House 😇 Rooms are very clean, comfortable big beds and very good delicious breakfast with huge choice. Owners Pippa, Martin and Marian did their Best to make us feel very welcomed and special guests ❤️ We felt ourselves like a part of the Family ❤️ We recommend it to everyone and definately will come again.
