We had several challenges with our stay. The bed was broken, paint chips were continuously falling off the walls onto all our clothes, it was VERY loud (restaurant next door playing non stop loud music all night and people in the hallway walking by at all hours of the night). Despite the ad, the doors are in no way sound proof, and being on the first floor, everyone had to go by to their rooms, hauling heavy luggage up the winding staircase (safety hazard in itself). Additionally, directly outside our window was a streetlight, eye level, which stayed on all night. There was only one curtain which did not completely cover the window frame, and it was not blackout. Between the noise and the light, it was impossible to get more than a couple hours of unrestful sleep a night. Also, during our whole stay (3 nights), the room was never cleaned and there were no toiletries provided. We communicated all this to the front desk many times, and although they were sympathetic, there was nothing they could actually do to fix the situation, which was disappointing. Because of this, I would not stay there again.

The people who were at the desk were so helpful I can't say enough about how nice they were there's no elevator, a small spiral staircase, but takes you up to all the rooms I was on the 6th floor. So, as you can imagine, caring suitcases up a spiral staircase was a challenge. However, the man at the desk helped me. He didn't want a tip said this was his job

We booked this via AirBnb but we had a payment glitch. We were able to contact them right away and they are quite good in communication. We got to the Suite quite late night due to our flight arrival, but they were still able to accommodate us. The manager and the receptionist speaks good English compared to most Turkish so it’s easier to communicate. The Suite is located in sketchy street but near in Galata Tower. The street can get busy in the morning so it’s a disturbing waking up. Also the room has a bad noise insulation so you can hear anyone outside the room. The room is small but stylish. But the floor is cracked, they tried to cover it with a mat but you can still see and feel it. The stairs is too narrowed and it’s not advisable for those who have big luggages. The cleaning lady stressed us out during check-out time. The wifi is acceptable though. Overall, it’s good for a one night stay, but we will never go back.
