Ulasan Comfort Inn Birmingham

This was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had in any city in any country. From the moment I walked in, there were countless people cluttering the lobby & the stairs up to the rooms, including quite a few unsavoury looking characters among them. Myself & my party had some very uncomfortable stares in our direction. The man working at the Check-in desk tried to double charge me for the room that I had already paid for. It took showing him my email receipt to convince him that I'd already paid. The room itself was dirty, the the bedsheets not being made, the floor hadn't been vacuumed, there were some questionable stains on the floor & on some of the walls & the door felt very flimsy, even with the double lock on. The other members of my party had similar experiences in both of their rooms. Within 10-15 minutes of checking in, we decided to leave & find an alternative hotel. On our way out, there were two men drinking cans of Stella next to the Check-in desk...This was at 2:30pm! Later that night, I returned only to use the toilet as it was closer than going back to the alternative hotel. I discovered that one of our room doors was wide open, when it had definitely been locked on the way out. Keep in mind, we had not officially checked out of these rooms yet. Having a quick glance inside, it appeared as though someone had broken in, looking for something to steal! Thankfully, we had not left any of our belongings behind in any of the rooms. I have never felt more unsafe in a hotel establishment. It is supposed to be a safe space that caters to their guests. I don't think I could've brought myself to sleep in the Comfort Hotel if I had chosen to remain there for the night. PLEASE AVOID!

Very small rooms. The rooms are old. The room alloted to me had serveral stairs going through it. Even the washroom had 2 stairs going through it

Very Good location and near to station and Birmingham centre. Rooms are very clean and comfortable.

Comfort Inn Location is great, just next to Birmingham New Street train station and within 3 mins walking distance to Birmingham China town, so plenty of restaurants and cafe surround this hotel. The only downside is the shower area, the curtain was short and water spilling everywhere when take shower. Overall I would rate 4.0 for Comfort Inn due to excellent location and reasonable price

Found 3 cigarette ends on the floor, carpet clearly hadn’t seen an hoover, lift stuck on me, bath was filthy. Needed to sleep thou

The location is excellent. Right next to Grand Central Station. The room was very hot without AC but when we mentioned it we were given a fan.

The location is great. Right in front of the new street station. The staff is great. The room is simple but clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a bathtub. Unfortunately it was not really sound proof. I could hear door closing and some thumps from above. I hope my talk or watching TV did not disturb other guests.

Location is very good. Near big shopping malls , train station.

Happy all round but I must say that more needs to be done to return these builds to their former glory

We book for a night only however facilities are old and broken. The hair dryer in our room was not working at all and we ask the reception desk to come and check or give us another one. However he told us he was eating food come up later to check it. And he said there’s no any extra hair dryer in the hotel. At the end he didn’t turn up to our room. How’s that possible totally ridiculous I won’t visit this place again

The hotel was spacious and comfortable. It has a small elevator. We stayed for just one day but had a pleasant experience.

Location….excellent Interior….home feeling! If you are travellers, better book this, just next to train station The famous cathedral just nearby…must visit

The location is excellent! Right next to the train station and just on the edge of China Town with tons of bars and club a short walk away. Its just next to the bull ring and a huge city centre for great shopping and food. The building is old with lots of history, character and a bar. Don't expect the same as a brand new hotel with perfect rooms that all look the same.The rooms are a bit higglety pigglety which, for us adds charm. The staff is very nice. Reception is directly in front of the entrance so there is always a careful eye on who is coming and going. The elevator was broken when we were there but I don't think it requires a key card but again it's just in front of the reception deck so they have a clear eye on who gets on the elevator. The room was comfortable, ours was in the back so it was a little dark and the lighting wasn't very bright but I peeked into other rooms and they were nice & sunny. The room was serviced and the coffee & tea was refreshed. Overall the stay was nice, the price was great especially for the super convenient location. We would definitely stay there again

The room was nice and tidy and ideal for my solo stay. The location is great for train travel as it is a one minute walk from New Street station. The check in was quick and easy. All in all good value for money for my one night stay.
