The staff couldn’t return a call before booking in.
The holiday company couldn’t reach them which was stressful, they too didn’t return calls.
We booked for 2 nights and had it been ok would of booked longer but pleased to get home.
I read the reviews on another company site & read the awful service etc. was too late to refund.
The other reviews were exactly right and I m so disappointed we had to stay, as Blackpool very full that weekend.
The rooms were old hired furniture and awful bed frames that creaked all night even if light weight so other person in single bed got no sleep.
The staff don’t follow the 10-5 rules as they should!
The show was no good on the Saturday evening more like karaoke night!
People slamming doors was normal.
Pool closes very early Sunday,
Lifts need checking every hour as food waste left in the floor.
Two of the lifts were broken, so took ages to wait our turn.
I believe that the lifts have been like this for few weeks.
The bedroom carpets need carpets steaming as badly marked even in the new rooms floor 6/7.
The baths are all marked need pulling out asap, marked rusty, even a bath tap came off in my hand do obviously been like if awhile as rusted.
Our child mentioned the condition of the room & smell of ****, he didn’t know what it was before being here.
Bath towels very small.
Furniture needs changing.
Pictures all missing from the walls.
Bedside lamp didn’t work.
Windows don’t open more than few inches at the top only.
The mattresses were so lumpy & didn’t sleep, both our rooms contacted reception for extra quilts to pad the bed, still no better.
Rubbish left in the waste bin which wasn’t ours!
Smell of **** throughout the hotel, each floor, have been told the homeless people stay on floor 2,of The Grand blackpool) I told to give a wide birth, discussing that 3 females and a child were worried for security, also the amount of people smoking they must of been smoking in their bedrooms for it to be that strong.
The breakfast was good & plenty of choice but the staff member poss the chef looked fed up each morning as he filled the containers out.
The rooms don’t have air con.
Very old hair dryer.
No free upgrades for anyone’s birthday,
Wanted to charge us £120 extra for two nights for the newer rooms!
Pool gym you have to pay for children £1- under 12, then £2- each adult, plus towel hire.
I’m sure I will of forgotten something.
Blackpool is shocking now. The once family holiday & party weekend is finished.
The guest houses and big hotels along the front need bulldozers going in, some still in use too.
The private houses flats look the same, I’m shocked they are still standing.
It must be a very hard life for anyone living there.
But up the road in Lyham st Anne’s it’s beautiful and great beach, shops worth a visit!
If you need to go to Blackpool then pay the extra for another hotel! X thanks
