Bromptons Hotel

Arrived at the hotel and it has ceased trading. Had to find another one last minute. Do not book at the Darfield Hotel!

What a great little hotel this is. I would describe it as a homely, friendly hotel with great hosts who offer superb value for money. This is a Victorian building so one has to bear in mind you will not find room sizes you would get in the Hilton . Our room was small but still bigger than a room we had in a purpose built Travelodge recently where we stayed for a night. The bed had ample room to walk around and came with a small table top fridge and hairdryer. It was spotless and I sleep with windows open, all weather, yet I didn't hear a sound until 7am when seagulls woke up. When you consider how close this is to the sea front and tower itself and how busy and noisy these areas are,I was pleasantly surprised. When you add the price point to the excellent location, a 5 to 10 minute walk depending on how fast or slow you walk, £50 for two with breakfast, which I have to add was also superb, it's a 10 out of 10 for us. We have already booked to stay again in April and depending on what happens in between now and then may well be staying again sooner than this. It speaks volumes when at breakfast we met a family of I believe was 4 generations on a weekend away who have stayed at this place year upon year for many years. Two who run it are doing a great job under very trying times for the hotel and hospitality industry and they are clealry what makes this place what it is. A great little place to stay. Ps. The bar area is also a welcoming place and drinks are very reasonably priced.

Another amazing stay as usual, rooms are lovely amazing owners jamie n Denis who are very friendly thy make us welcome from arriving till we go home even thou they are a bad influence on us in a good way , that's why we go back all the time as we always have a laugh .
