The Scala Hotel

What a lovely weekend away we had staying at this hotel. We had a on suite double on the second floor, everything was spotless and clean, there was a small fridge and kettle with tea/ coffee making supplies including biscuits. The breakfast options were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. What really makes this Hotel though are the owners Lynda and Tony they are such lovely people and make this such a welcoming place to stay. We will definitely be planning on a return visit 😊

We have just returned from a fabulous weekend in Blackpool. Tony & Linda are great hosts, even saving a parking spaces for us. Our room was very clean and comfy. With lovely little touches such as free biscuits which our daughter loved. At breakfast they chatted with every table asking how their previous day had been and what’s their plans were. We will be back for another lovely stay. Thanks Ruth, Paul & Mia x

A fantastic stay at the Scala. The hotel is located near the pleasure beach, so some distance away from the centre, but lots of transport available, including buses, tram and rail🚊 Being so close to the coast was perfect and I enjoyed a walk to Lytham along the beachfront. The hotel was comfortable, spotless and breakfast was fantastic. I was made to feel very welcome. Thanks to Lynda and Tony for an excellent stay.

A lovely hotel, would definitely go again. It's all done in art deco style which has been really nicely done. Linda & Tony are great hosts & can't do enough for you,nice to get that personal service that you don't get in chain hotels(where I usually stay). It's good to support the independents as a lot were probably badly affected by covid. The hotel is in a nice quiet street but only 10 mins walk from the prom & really handy for the pleasure Beach. The prices are very reasonable & breakfast is included in that. Definitely recommend.

Lovely weekend at Blackpool at the scala hotel. Our hosts were lovely friendly and cook a perfect full English. Hotel is stunning proper old school blackpool hotel lovely bar and sitting areas our room was spotless and just perfect. Will be going back too this hotel and highly recommend it. The lovely hosts go out there way too make your stay a great one. 5 stars and will be returning ✨️

If your looking for a comfortable stay in a lovely clean and homely surrounding then book a stay at the scala! Linda and tony are attentive and make your stay a real pleasure. What can I say that would make you trust me and stay here. Well all I will say is if you don't stay here and try somewhere else I'm getting it in now I told you so. This is our first stay here I'm into my second night and I feel the urge to review now. Linda and Tony are amazing hosts. Linda will sit up have a beer with you and guide you through the town. She will go out of her way to make your stay 100% perfect. The hotel is immaculate and clean through out. The breakfast is amazing don't judge it before you eat it. If you think your plate is half empty they will fill it for you but trust me half way through eating the premium sausage, bacon ,blackpudding, you will be glad you didn't ask for extra. The rooms are just perfect, beds very comfy and spacious. Smart TV for netflix , great tea coffee and biscuits available. Yes it's out the way from the town center but, (big but coming). The center has fish and chips all over and burger vans and arcades on every corner. If you stay here you have pizza hut, Italians, fish chips, Wetherspoons, And arcades for the kids and swim pool water park. With 5 mins walk. Best place to stay if you ask me. It's just cosy, friendly out the way of the dirty center and perfect for family's. But a tram ride away from center if you want. What a lovely little gem of a place! On arrival we were greeted with happy smiley faces and had everything we needed to know explained to us! We were asked what we would like for breakfast and got exactly what we asked for! The room was a little small but that’s the one we booked so not a surprise. The entire place was spotless and they clearly love the place themselves! Breakfast was delicious, not greasy and not overbooked, everything perfect, even the runny egg! My husband left his keys behind in the room so Linda called us and said she would post them. We only left at 10:30am and they are already in the post to us! Location is great, close enough to stroll to the pleasure beach and beyond but away from the hustle and bustle of nighttime. A lovely stay hosted by lovely people. Highly recommended
