Great stay! Wasn’t sure if breakfast was included aomwe didn’t try and opted for cara lee doughnuts! Yum! Comfortable beds and loved the pillow!!

We loved staying there. It was a girls trip, myself, my senior in high school granddaughter, my granddaughter at JMU and my granddaughter at VA Tech.

Overall, the Inn is an excellent place to stay if one is visiting VT for a sporting event or otherwise. The only negative — and it was not a minor one — was that it was ill-equipped to handle a pre-game meal as I had been led to believe. My group arrived early, was seated, etc., etc., but ultimately had to find another dinner venue and was late to the game. Seemingly, this was a problem that can be easily remedied if recognized. The dining/lounge staff appeared overwhelmed when customer demand was clearly well below capacity.

Great location on campus, but that is it. Dated property. No amenities in the room like a minibar or snacks. Staff wasn't very helpful in terms of providing directions to buildings on campus. Location is the only positive of this property.

The Inn is a great place to stay while visiting VA Tech. The staff and service are excellent. Haley at Preston's dining was outstanding!
I'm sure it's not the norm but they were having problems with the hot water heater during our stay. I had two very early mornings where there was no hot water. A cold shower in February is not ideal. To be fair the front desk informed us that the hot water heater was being replaced but they said you would have to let your water run to get hot.... it never got hot. : ) Still overall it was a great visit and the Inn is a top location to stay while visiting VA Tech.

We stay here when we visit of VT student. It is perfect because we park and can walk to football or basketball games. Bar and restaurant on property are perfect!
