We have been coming to ambrosia for 13 years and over this time we’ve seen some changes and this year was much better hotel seems to get better every year the only thing we didn’t like was the same breakfast everyday for 2 weeks which was Turkish breakfast, it’s lovely but not for us everyday, but we just went somewhere else for something different. I want to give a shout out to the staff on the front Ahmet Alalp and Genghis but also a lovely lad that made our beach day lovely by doing the simple thing like bring ice to keep our drinks cold (sorry can’t remember your name) and to a gorgeous young lady that started the same day we arrived she didn’t stop running around keeping everything tidy. Everything about this hotel was great. Very friendly staff. We were put into a room right away. The hotel is very clean and tidy. They clean very often and always ask if cleaning is needed. I was pleased that the room was always cleaned. Bed linen is also changed every time they are cleaned. The pool is very clean. Many people liked to swim in the pool, sometimes people didn't even go to the beach, as the pool was crystal clear. We also often swam in the hotel. I also really liked that the hotel room has a door that goes directly to the pool. If you are tired of crowds, want comfort and a break from people, then you will be comfortable in this hotel, as there are 70 rooms, which gives a sense of space. The hotel is located 5-7 minutes from the beach. We slept soundly, there was no noise at all, we slept with the windows open. We booked a room with breakfast only. We liked breakfast, there were a lot of vegetables, fruits, cheeses, dried fruits and so on. I prefer healthy food and this breakfast was perfect for me. We also ordered food in the hotel restaurant, here the most delicious food, at a very competitive price. We visited many bars and restaurants in Bodrum. We went somewhere every day. But it was in the hotel, in the restaurant, that there was the most extensive menu, with the most delicious food and more favorable prices. Therefore, I recommend ordering food in the restaurant in this hotel. And there is a very beautiful landscaping, so cute. We passed by other hotels and there was no such beautiful landscaping as here. I will return to this hotel for sure. I recommend to everyone! Thanks to the staff of this hotel. You make a great vacation! I also saw the award given to this hotel for being one of the best three star hotels.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the experience I had during my recent stay at your hotel from [18 Aug 2024] to [21 Aug 2024]. Unfortunately, this stay was far from what I expected, and several issues severely impacted my overall experience. Firstly, the behavior and attitude of your staff were particularly disappointing. Manager Hilal was very rude behavior, lacking experience, professionalism and unresponsiveness to requests. I want management to investigate on why, she was having such behavior and check if there were room available at 11 AM 18th Aug 2024 for early check in. Manager HILAL was very angry and wanted me to cancel my booking and simply don’t care about guest experience. As a guest, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy, which was sadly lacking during my stay. Secondly, I requested one large bed and got disappointed to know that they have all single bed which is joined by room service staff and again same manager HILAL was very rude and telling that joining two single bed is same as one 1 large bed or king size bed. This was unacceptable and not at all in line with the standards I expect from a hotel of your reputation. Moreover, when I brought these issues to the attention of the management, handling of my complaint was inadequate and left me feeling even more frustrated. This experience has unfortunately left a lasting negative impression, and I am considering whether I would stay at or recommend this hotel in the future. I believe that such issues should be addressed promptly to prevent other guests from facing similar dissatisfaction. I would appreciate it if you could investigate these matters and provide an appropriate response. I am also open to discussing how this situation could be rectified. Stayed 11 nights at this hotel and after reading some of the reviews we were a little dubious....So, we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Quick check in then shown to our room, we didn't accept the first room as I am not good with stairs. Second room was really small but we coped for the first night then we moved rooms. Our final room was clean and functional, but again really small. Good well stocked mini bar. Room cleaned every day with fresh towels. Staff all lovely and accommodating especially bar staff, Hassan, Ali and I think Ahmed, they literally could not do enough for you, they were obliging, entertaining and keeping us topped up!” Shake em up” Food was ok, reasonably priced. Drinks all good and again reasonably priced. Brilliant location for all your needs, small stroll to the beach where they have another bar which you get discount as guests of there hotel. We will definitely be returning next September but will ask for larger room.....
Salinas Beach Hotel Bodrum-Boutique Concept

The hotel may be an option among alternatives in terms of cost assessment of benefits. Unlike its name, Salinas Beach Hotel is not a beach hotel, but it is very close to Gümbet beach. The hotel consists of several two-story detached outbuildings the main service building and additional guest rooms. For example, imagine a Mediterranean style with blue, sand tones and white on the walls inside and outside, raw wood in the furniture, light summery materials in the textiles; but here at the entrance you are met with a dark and gloomy heavy color scale and there is an unsightly mess in the decor. From the hotel staff, especially at the reception, Ms. Ilknur was friendly and friendly in a flurry of service. It was a pity that we could not hear and see the kind bellboy who helped us with our luggage when we got to the hotel and rented the hotel right in front of the grocery store on the beach, which is about 600mt from the main service building, and introduced the hotel and the beach the next day was dismissed. If there is no valid reason, the high staff turnover damages the sense of belonging of employees, the learning of new people and the process of adaptation to the enterprise negatively affects the quality of service. As a matter of fact, the glum face of the person they started instead of did not give a positive sign that he loved his job. In addition, we had to carry all the luggage ourselves when we left the hotel. As I mentioned earlier, the hotel does not have a beachfront due to its location. after walking for about 5 minutes, you can throw a towel in the morning and reach the sun loungers, which are insufficient because they are very limited in number due to the rude people who occupy the space all day long. It is also worth noting that the floor of the area where the sun beds are located is concrete. The beach is blue-flagged, the sea is quite clear, you can swim with the fish, but the water is relatively cool. If you are going to enter in front of a contracted grocery store, the floor of the sea is not cleared of rocks and it suddenly deepens, which can be a danger. It is also not a pleasant situation if you have to greet all the stinking garbage containers in the summer heat until you land on the beach. I would also like to note that we have experienced a delay and associated hesitation at least at the point of pre-collection with a non-institutional approach to the booking process. When we arrived at the hotel, we found that there was no need to worry about the sincerity of the family business. We sent our request to the hotel together with the online form to arrange our room with a sea or pool view if possible during the reservation we made months ago, but it was a disappointment that it was not taken into account. We lived at Degirmenburnu residence almost 5 months and it was a really great experience! Hotel has a very good location - near you can find Marina (in 15 minutes walking) with so many restaurants, cafes and Gumbet's beach (in 5-10 minutes walking). Also there is enough kid's playgrounds, it was important for us, cause of the baby)). Hotel’s rooms has all for long staying there (wash machine, place for cooking, dishwasher and etc.), rooms have wonderful views on the sea and the part of Bodrum city. But the best in this hotel I think is in administration service. All of ours questions and problems was solved and it was really quickly. For example our dishwasher broke (it was almost night, about 11 pm) and they come to help us and changed it for a new one just in 15 minutes! And all our asks was solved every time so fast as in example above. I want to say many thanks to Eric and other staff for that kind and personal attention to us and to our friends too. If we will come back to Bodrum we’ll definitely stay at Degirmenburnu!
