Hotel berhampiran Orak Adasi, Bodrum

The staff so attentive, special mention to Hassan in the beach club and his amazing ability to remember most couples drinks! Even on the bars most ‘club like’ night when it was very busy he recognised every couple in the queue and their orders with the biggest friendliest smile… also Yusef in the Aqua bar is so polite and we didn’t have to move from our sunbeds for drinks… he took so much pride in keeping his bar meticulously clean and keeping his customers happy! Also another mention of our waiter in the main restaurant Seydar. What a professional young man, again so polite and friendly…. There are so many staff I could mention, but these 3 made our visit. The resort is a mixture of young & mature adults and they cater to all ages. Quite clubby in some bars, very picturesque and beautiful restaurants with instrumental accompaniments in other areas. The fitness classes were great, the gym was decent and the sauna was great. We had a Turkish hammam with a really good massage and mud face pack to finish. There are so many positives about this resort, I would definitely go again. Only negative for me was how hard the bed is, but within 10 minutes of telling reception they provided me with a memory foam mattress topper and the following 9 nights I had a marvellous comfy sleep so that’s hardly a negative.

A very decent budget friendly boutique hotel. First of all, this place was one of the cheapest decent options in Bodrum when I was searching. The hotel was beautiful, with bougainvillea climbing on the white buildings and flowers in pots around the hotel (although some pots were empty, as if the rejuvenation before the holiday season was only half done). The room was good sized, looking like newly painted, but not spotlessly clean. The aircon worked well. The bathroom was almost bad with an ill fitted toilet seat and dirty floor. I had to ask them to send the cleaner to clean my room, otherwise it’s not done. The pool was of a decent size considering the relatively small size of the hotel. The hotel was located on a quiet one-way backstreet. Walking to the marina took only around 15 mins. There were 5 parking spots in front of the hotel. Breakfast was bare minimum - a piece of cold meat, a boiled egg, two pieces of fried cheese sprig rolls, jams, bread, Turkish tea and instant coffee. But considering the price, it was acceptable. The staff were mostly nice and accommodating. There was just one person who stood out as a little unfriendly (bald guy, probably the manager or big brother of all the rest). The cleaning ladies could be a bit less aggressively noisy. The towels smelled of oil and that was understandable as the kitchen and laundry were opposite each other with their door’s always ajar. Despite these few minus points, I would still stay here again because of the affordability, relative convenient location, photogenic environment and (mostly) nice staff.

We stayed at hotel for 10 days and the whole experience is been lovely! The rooms were very clean and the hotel definitely looks better than in the photos, it was a nice surprise to see that! Staff were always helping and trying to assist everyone, except the reception team, some of the members couldn’t really speak any English, which we found a bit surprising, but it wasn’t a big of a problem. The food was really good and tasty but sometimes a bit repetitive but that’s understandable since it is a buffet. What was a bit annoying is that some evenings it was very packed and people were just skipping the queue when getting food. The animation activities were lovely and there’s was something to please everyone, from volleyball to dart games. Every evening different shows were on which made it very interesting. A big thanks to Seyfi (one of the animators) for making us feel welcome and checking on us every day to ensure that we are enjoying our stay to the fullest! The only thing that would have made the experience even better was the location; the hotel is very secluded from everything so we always had to take taxis to go town, in the evenings it can get a bit boring since there’s nowhere to go for a walk near the beach which makes you very stagnant. Overall I highly recommend this hotel, it’s definitely been a lovely experience and surprised by so many staff members that have definitely been super super nice and professional!

Die Lage ist super, eigener Hotel Parkplatz und man ist Fußläufig in 5 Minuten an der Promenade. Die Zimmer sind sehr einfach . Die Sauberkeit lässt zu Wünschen übrig ( hinter dem Kühlschrank Unterwäsche von einer Frau ) geht überhaupt nicht. Das Personal bis auf einen Jungen Mann ( leider weiß ich seinen Namen nicht mehr ) der sehr Hilfsbereit und super Freundlich war , alle anderen hatten keine Lust mehr, ok es war natürlich auch ende der Saison. Es gibt einen großen Pool , das Frühstücks Buffet geht für 2 Tage, aber länger nicht. Die ganze Anlage ist in der Nebensaison ok , aber in der Hauptsaison herrscht dort wahrscheinlich das Chaos, zuviele Touris auf engstem Raum. Ansonsten wie gesagt sehr Zentral am Leben von Bodrum.

We lived at Degirmenburnu residence almost 5 months and it was a really great experience! Hotel has a very good location - near you can find Marina (in 15 minutes walking) with so many restaurants, cafes and Gumbet's beach (in 5-10 minutes walking). Also there is enough kid's playgrounds, it was important for us, cause of the baby)). Hotel’s rooms has all for long staying there (wash machine, place for cooking, dishwasher and etc.), rooms have wonderful views on the sea and the part of Bodrum city. But the best in this hotel I think is in administration service. All of ours questions and problems was solved and it was really quickly. For example our dishwasher broke (it was almost night, about 11 pm) and they come to help us and changed it for a new one just in 15 minutes! And all our asks was solved every time so fast as in example above. I want to say many thanks to Eric and other staff for that kind and personal attention to us and to our friends too. If we will come back to Bodrum we’ll definitely stay at Degirmenburnu!

Eşimle beraber temmuz ayında konakladık. Gittiğimiz oteller hakkında olumlu olumsuz yorumlar yazmaya oldukça değerli buluyorum bu sebeple bu otel hakkında da olumlu olumsuz yanları sıralayacağım Ancak ana konu şu: Otel fiyatına göre iyi bir performans veriyor ancak kendinize şu soruyu sormalısınız; “Ben sakin ve sessiz bir otel mi istiyorum yoksa hareketli ve müzik dolu bir tatil mi istiyorum.” Olumlu yanlar: - Personel bayram haftası olmasına rağmen canla başla çalışıyordu ve hijyene çok dikkat ettiğim için rahatça söyleyebilirim ki dıcağın altında onca koşturmaya ve işe rağmen hepsi temiz giyimliydi, sürekli ama sürekli parfüm kokuyordu. Oteli bu sebeple tebrik ederim. - Odası temizdi. (Duş giderinde tıkanıklık vardı ancak kısmen giderildi) - A’la carte otel için yemek çeşidi iyiydi (lezzete henüz girmiyorum) - Spa hizmeti çok iyiydi. Eşimle masaj paketi satın aldık ve güler yüzlü, işinin ehli olan Fatma Hanım ve Bahar Hanım’dan çok memnun kaldık. Boynumu çevirebildiğimi hatırlattılar :) - Bayram yoğunluğuna rağmen tesiste şezlıng, masa vb sıkıntısı olmadı. Her zaman bir yer bulabildik. - Oteldeki havuzda gündüz ve akşam sürekli olarak animasyon ekibi çalışıyor, rutin etkinlikler yapıyor. Akşam yemeklerinde her gün bir ekip getiriliyor; dansçılar vb yemek için güzel bir görsel şölen sunuluyor. Olumsuz yanlar - Çok ama çok ama çok gürültülü. Otel zaten Gümbet’te olduğu için gündüz ve gece etrafta inanılmaz gürültülü müzik oluyor. Ancak maalesef Very Chic Hotel de adeta kendileriyle yarışa girmiş durumda. Öğlen 14.00 gibi havuz tarafındaki ses kökleniyor. Plaj tarafında ise Hotel tarafından kiralandığını öğrendiğimiz “Millioner’s Beach Club” 14.30 gibi müziği son ama son ses açıyor ve huzur burada sona eriyor. Zaten sahil boyu sağında solunda bangır bangır müzik çalan yerler varken bir de dibinizde bu gürültüyü duyuyorsunuz ve müzikler bile birbirine karışıyor. Üstelik kalitesiz yeni nesil rap şarkılar yarım saatte bir tekrar eden bir playlist düşünün… Biz dinlenme namıma bir şey bulamadık, gürültüden kafamız şişti. Elbette bunu tercih edecek müşteri de vardır ancak bize göre değilmiş, onu anladıl. Havu tarafında hafta sonlaro köpük partisi falan oluyor, o da yine bir gürültü. Eğlence iyi hoş da maalesef eksik yanı “dinlenmeye” gelen müşteri maalesef düşünülmemiş, relax pool vs yok mesela. - Yemeklerin tadı oldukça vasat. Elbette fine dining kalitesi beklemiyorduk ancak çoğu ürün gerçekten kalitesizdi. Sabah kahvaltıları ise fiyasko. Peynirler, şarküteri ürünleri falan çok ama çok kötüydü. - Garsonlar arı gibi ancak sipariş vermek ve siparişi masaya alabilmek oldukça zorlayıcı. Tatlı, çay, kahve vb istediyseniz yüksel ihtimalle gelmeyecektir. Yemek dışındaki istekleri garip bir şekilde epey arka plana artıyorlar. - Gürültülü misafirleri maalesef uyarmıyorlar. Almanya’dan geldiğini öğrendiğimiz Türklere ve İngiltere’den olduğunu anladığımız taşkın gruba maalesef iki söz söylemediler. Üstelik maalesef bazı garsonların yabancılar için

A very nice play to stay in for a vacation/staycation. Comfortable to have a day-in at or to be a transactional place in between activities. Nice view of the sun movements and I’m in love with the builds of the hotel; unconventionally structured and very interesting. Lots of place to explore in the hotel alone and amenities are accessible and good. We stayed in during low-season and it was very peaceful. Breakfasts were not buffets because of that but they served us anything we could ask for generously and attentively. The concierges; Dokhan and Duygu served us a very friendly welcome and chats the whole time which helped us to get to know the area a lot too!

This is the most incredible hotel. The setting is the beautiful Ortakent beach, away from the crowded and crazy Bodrum town and with much cleaner water. The hotel has direct access to the beach plus a fabulous pool. The staff were amazing - so attentive to everything and great with our kids. There are so many great dining options along the beach in easy walking distance, but the food was SO good at the hotel we ended up eating there every night. All the meals - kids, pool dining, vegetarian options, and particularly the breakfast - were so delicious. The quality of service, the fit out, the luxury feel of the restaurant spaces and the beach setting would all match anything at a 5 star resort, but you get the exclusivity of a boutique hotel with a much smaller number of guests and access to shops and other restaurants. From what we observed, this is the best hotel in Ortakent, and Ortakent is one of the most beautiful spots in Bodrum.

Bizim yaşadığımız ,deneyimi memnuniyeti herkese tavsiye ediyorum..emeği geçen herkese sonsuz teşekkürler.....
