Le petit déjeuner servi à l’hôtel est extraordinaire : énormément de choix de viennoiseries, fruits frais et autres légumes, jambons et fromages frais. Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel dans cet hôtel proche de la gare de Bologna. Nous recommandons cet établissement.

Nice and comfortable stay. Would recommend and would stay again. Pros: great location - 2 mins walk from the main square, 10 mins from the Main Street of bars, 20 mins walk from train station. Nice and comfortable mattress, good view from room, three bathrooms - two of which are really big, seating area outside rooms, key locked room, 2 girls paired with 2 girls which was good for safety. Cons: no lockers to keep valuable safes, not good at all. Flat pillows were uncomfortable, moving ladder for the upper bunk was scary in the morning. Windows did not close which meant on a Saturday night we were kept up from all the screaming and shouting of outsiders.

Our family of five traveled to Bologna and stayed at the PHI Hotel. We had adjoining apartments which were beautiful and comfortable. The location was perfect and easily accessible to restaurants and sites. The service was impeccable from the front desk to the woman who cleaned our apartments immaculately. The front desk was incredibly responsive to any questions that we had. At one point we had tripped a breaker, and someone was sent immediately to take care of it. We had a wonderful experience and will stay at the PHI when we visit Bologna again. Grazie mille!

We checked in as part of a tour group at around 8 pm from Rome. We were tired and wanted to sleep, but discovered that our room's AC wasn't working. We included a picture of it with no display. Buttons are not responding at all. We ask our tour leader to help us get this problem fixed. Had a big day tomorrow, so we needed as much rest as we could. Front desk said they'd fix the problem, but no one showed up to our room. After waiting for sometime, they said they had fixed it from their end, but it was clearly not working at all. At almost 10 pm, we were told by our tour group leader that they were going to switch us to a different room. Frustrated, because we had already unpacked our things/clothes so we could get up and move early morning, we now had to repack everything then unpack again. What's worse is, they didn't have anyone from the hotel itself assist us with transferring, but had our tour leader act as their bellboy! They gave an excuse that they were understaffed. No apologies,no compensation, no thoughtfulness or professionalism. It was even borderline racism because they used our tour guide as their bellboy when this whole fiasco was their fault! Just because we're Filipino doesn't mean we get treated worst than any other paying guest of this hotel. We're very disappointed with their service, and will spread our negative experience with as many review sites as we can. This NOT how you treat guests of your hotel.

This hotel might be fine for some but wasn't for us. We were bussed and placed here by our airline after our flight out of Florence was cancelled. The hotel looked abandoned from the outside. I felt like the people from our cancelled flight were the only ones staying here. There was no where to purchase food or water. The room was very basic but it seemed clean. I wouldn't stay here if I was traveling alone. Matteo at the front desk was very nice and very helpful.

The service in the hotel is excellent, people are kind and nice and very helpful. always mobilized for help and assistance. A room equipped with the minimum necessary for the night, a refrigerator with two bottles of water at no cost and a safe. There is public transportation near the hotel, which allows for easy movement. At the reception, bus tickets are sold at the same price that you bought outside, which makes it easier to get around. I was very satisfied with the stay at the hotel

EErica CohnTwo stars because it is a nice hotel with comfortable beds. Thats about it. It is certainly not a five star hotel, which it purports to be. We arrived around 8pm and advised reception that we needed to leave for the airport at five am. At some point reception advises that the booking was for one person and they had to charge us for the second. I have never heard of this! So for the extra person for our 8 hour stay, they wanted €100! What the hell for? I looked on a booking sight and showed the receptionist that I could still book a room (which would come with a free bottle of wine) for two people for exactly what I paid. Receptionist kept saying that it would be more if i booked through the hotel. Lets follow the logic here. Why would i book directly through the hotel if the same room is less on a booking sight? The most irritating part is that she kept laughing inappropriately for some unknown reason. The male receptionist kept insisting that the € 100 was for the ”free” hot breakfast. We reminded him that we had to leave before breakfast was served. He assured us that there would be a cart full of food in the morning before we left. Long story short, that did not happen. There was a cart with coffee and a few pastries. But wait, there's more! The man at the reception in the morning told us that if we had asked, they would have made us breakfast. That would have been nice if it was ever suggested by reception at check in! A real five star hotel would have just taken the initiative to prepare the bagged breakfast for us given the conversation had the night before. I also enjoyed how the staff talked down to us insisting that a €100 per person euro fee is totally normal. Because I've never stayed in a hotel before! Thats sarcasm btw. Again, this certainly was not a five star experience. And just to compare apples to apples, we stayed at a four star hotel when we arrived in bologna 10 days earlier. It was 1/5 the cost, the staff much more accommodating and was just as comfortable and nice. So do yourself a favor and ignore the alleged five star rating and save your money and nerves by staying anywhere else.

PPengguna TetamuThey gave us a family room outside of the main building of the hotel. So, we exposed the voice coming from the street. The room was large enough but at the first glance we felt a little bit unsafe, but it was OK. However, there was a draft of cold air in the room that we could not locate, Croissants at the breakfast were the worst I have ever tasted. Please change your supplier. Stuff was kind and helpful.

ООльга ГалинаОстанавливалась на одну ночь по дороге домой, вылет был рано утром, поэтому выбрала отель напротив вокзала, откуда ходит поезд до аэропорта. Отель легко найти, он прямо напротив вокзала через дорогу. На стойке регистрации очень любезный и профессиональный персонал. Номер был просторный, чистый, постельное белье хорошего качества, кровать очень удобная. Есть мини бар с напитками и снэками. В городе была жара, в номере кондиционер работал и было оч прохладно, но регулировать температуру не было возможно и это единственный минус. До центра города идти мин 20 по торговой улице в тени крытых галерей. В целом впечатление от отеля хорошее.

Aa****3Location is excellent, just across the railway station. There are also sandwich stalls, shops and restaurants just right beside the building. The front desk person is very friendly and gave good suggestions on where to visit and dine.
Room was newly renovated and spacious and have lift access. Basic amendities are available as well as flask to boil water for hot coffee. Wifi connection was stable too. Would recommend this hotel.

PPengguna Tetamuil personale dell'hotel è stato molto cortese e professionale. mi è stato proposto al mio arrivo un cambio di camera per una di un livello superiore previo pagamento della differenza di tariffa, e io ho accettato volentieri. La camera era molto bella. Unica pecca, non trascurabile visto il livello della stanza, è stato il ritrovamento di un capello lungo nero (non chiaramente di mia proprietà dato che sono rasato nè dell'altra persona ospite) nel lenzuolo del materasso e di una tazzina di caffè utilizzata dall'ospite precedente che era sulla balaustra della terrazza. Per il resto è andato tutto bene.

Despite the closeness to the Bologna railway station the place is set back, quiet and green, with a large outdoor area for relaxation. The rooms are functional, clean, well ventilated and fitted with A.C. Totally recommended!

PPengguna TetamuRoom was satisfactory. But had a lot of negatives. 1. Air conditioning didn’t work and heating was set to always on. Temp of 19 outside, the room was always roasting. Apparently they turn off the air con in October but there should be a choice to sweat or not. 2. Door to the balcony wouldn’t open properly so was always open a bit or a lot. We needed the air but the road outside is very noisy at all hours. Plus works on the plot opposite start at 8am in the morning. 3. No mention before arrival of a service tax. It was €18 for 3 people 2 nights. Not the end of the world but a surprise when you’ve paid in advance. 3. Kettle provided but no coffee or milk in the room. 4. Suite was a double bed and a couch turned into a bed in the same room. I think suite meant it had a kitchen sink and cooker in the cupboard. We wouldn’t have used it but it was so pokey with only one stool that we wouldn’t have been able to use it. 5. At 6am on our last night the electricity came on/off/on/off for 10 minutes before dying altogether. As such all devices and lights in the room came off/on/off/on disturbing our sleep. 6. On checkout there was no apology for the disturbed sleep not even a ‘I’ll waive the fee’ and the Patricia was less than understanding or apologetic.

MMelrose MaeGreat location with great staff. The bell tolls every so often, but it is no bother. Shower is a tad bit tiny but bathroom is big. Lift is available but some rooms on level 2 has a few steps to conquer - do request a room that does not tackle this if you cannot lift your luggage for these few steps. One key per room, but key can be left at reception. We had 4 rooms all up and they mananged to get us all on same floor & close by, as per our request. Again, all the staff are great. Check-in is 3pm, check-out is 11am.

PPengguna TetamuHo soggiornato presso questa struttura una sola notte ad ottobre, mi trovavo a Bologna per svago. La mia camera era una matrimoniale uso singola. La posizione a mio avviso è ottima. Zona tranquilla ma perfettamente collegata verso il centro dai bus (fermata a 80 metri). Hotel molto bello ed accogliente, camere pulite, moderne, molto confortevoli. Bagno bellissimo, doccia spaziosa e specchiera enorme. Colazione abbastanza varia e buona. Personale gentilissimo, dalla reception, alla sala colazione. Colazione servita dalle 7 alle 10:30 Check out entro le 12!!!! Ho trovato queste 2 cose molto comode! Se dovessi ricapitare a Bologna tornerei senz’altro in questa struttura. Consigliatissimo.
